    Unbearable due to Wos
NBA group chat is great if you fast forward any time Woz speaks, which unfortunately is over 50% of the time. Classic blowhard.

    woof
Uninformed often, worse they are not able to admit it so end up confusing events and fabricating reasons for their points. if you’re not watching and they don’t talk about your team, it passes as a workman-like, head down, inertia-led podcast, league friendly insiders/wannabes with slop for you. (GroupChat)

    Real One - Stiller
Great get, guys! Ben Stiller is a real one. That was a fun pod. Thanks, Howard Beck!

    Put Austin to Real Ones!
Put Austin permenently as a real one! He clearly belongs there! I enjoyed the episode when he was a guest. I like Howard but he’s more of an analyst like the groupchat peeps (excluding Wos). Put Howard Beck to the Groupchat in place of Wos. I’m sorry but Wos is outclassed in the groupchat as far as bball knowledge and analysis and tries to make it up with humor. He also laughs over the others while they talk which is so annoying. You can tell he is winging it a lot of times and talks fluff while the others talk with substance. I refuse to listen to the groupchat anymore as long as wos is there and im sure a lot of listeners agree.

Love the Real Ones when it’s just Raja and Logan. Howard can get too political

    Group Chat - Must Listen
If you’re looking for a podcast that keeps you informed, entertained, and engaged, Group Chat is an absolute must-listen. The hosts bring a perfect mix of humor, insight, and real talk about NBA basketball.

The “Real Ones” live show was hilarious and…
…made me wish I was there (which never happens). I’m 60 so I remember watching Raja on television, and he absolutely, positively WAS a real one. 100%.

    i like
i like the real ones pod but can’t lie i absolutely hate the way Logan signs off

    Raja is a lazy podcaster.
It’s almost disrespectful how ill-prepared Raja is to speak about the topics on a given podcast. Howard is good. Logan is good. Need more Rob content. Cut out Raja.
  • ChrisDaPug1
    Bad take Howard
Respectfully, Howard completely missed the mark on the Lamelo Ball conversation. Watch the game and stop looking at nerd analytics that don’t even come close to telling the full story. Look at the team around him. Look at Lamelo getting double teamed every time he has the ball because he’s such a vacuum on offense. You can’t blame one player for his team sucking.

    Howard ruining the dynamic
Howard Beck is not truly a real one. Howard always created an instant awkwardness when he would make guest appearances on the show. Now as a permanent cohost, Howard brings a chaperone vibe to the show and generally disrupts the chemistry of what used to be a stellar basketball podcast. Why Howard Beck was shoe-horned into this podcast, which was finding its footing, I’ll never know. Hearing Howard “cut loose” and drop unnecessary f-bombs, while clearly missing what the heart of the show is about, is cringeworthy and borderline insulting. Also, we’re not buying into the Howard “M.F.” Beck gimmick either. It’s patronizing at best and Howard is too smart not to see that’s it’s a mercy invite to the bbq.

    RIP Jonathan Tjarks
Group chat is great. The dynamic/chemistry between those three is in a great place. I want to enjoy Real ones but Logan is just no good... Raja is solid. It pains me to say this but when he was gone for pat leave the show was so much better with Raja and Howard Beck. Been a listener since the Ringer started. RIP Tjarks miss your insights and the enthusiastic/joyful curiosity you approached the game with. Will not be forgotten 💔

They read my question on the show…. That was really cool 🙌🏾🙌🏾

I’ll pay money to NOT listen to Wos
Please stop putting Wos on this show…this dude knows nothing about hoops and laughs at all his terrible jokes. Brutal to listen to….please get him off this show.

    Group Chat
Group Chat is a rough listen. Rob & Justin name irrelevant players regularly and think it’s funny. It’s not. Big Wos will make your ears bleed with his never ending use of Like & Umm. He also laughs like a mental patient for no reason. Hire Zach Lowe and fire these jerkoffs.
  • BlazersAxe
    Love some of these guys!
Please! More Mahoney! More J. Kyle Mann! More Goldsberry! I hardly ever listen to Group Chat anymore because Rob is only getting 30% of the airtime. Verrier has a pretty voice but adds nothing. Let’s GOOO! ✨✨✨
  • Taco bout it podcast
    Good consistent content
I generally don’t love feeds with different hosts and shows all the time, but all of the hosts are generally knowledgeable and good at what they do. Although logan Murdock thinks that filing an insurance claim is an exclamation of pure joy. And that is just an all time terrible take. But I’ll let it slide. I know he’s paying bills, but somebody should have put a stop to that ad.

Love this pod. These three have hit their stride as a three man weave.
  • jojo&roses
    The best!
Of all the pods, Wos, Rob and Justin are by far the best. They’re funny, informative and entertaining. Love their dynamic and can’t help laughing every time I listen. Thank you for smart analysis and a great listen.

    Kerm is a DAWG!!!!
  • mutman mike
    Decent show but
Why do you keep forcing that bum Seerat in the podcast feed.
  • Jwalkny3
Real ones should be better.. but it’s mid
it’s a bit a of a mess.. Logan isn’t the best, but he tries really hard to be funny and curses for no reason, wish we could get raja without him. lots of unneeded skits where they try to bring the producer in for air time.. yes you can just fast forward buts it’s annoying I’m forced to do so.. hope someone finds them funny. Other than that it’s good bball content

    Rivers has to go
Can’t listen to A. Rivers anymore. Dude’s so self-absorbed that I get embarrassed for him just listening. Still love Group Chat and anything with Raja Bell.
  • Rbernalrod
Radja is great, Logan not so much
    Title explains it all.
  • Roger Rau 1983
    A mess
This feed is a mess. I just spent 20 minutes listening to Austin Rivers complain about spending too much money on a birthday dinner. Gave up before they got to any sports. Mimatch is a better pod. Bring those guys back to this feed.

    Kevin Love Knuckle Push-Ups
In October of 2012 Kevin Love got drunk, punched a wall and broke his hand. Schwartz spins it as knuckle pushups, and then has Woj do a hit piece with Love trashing Wolves to change the narrative. To this day that is how fans remember it. What is the name of the bar?

    Please
Please give us a way to listen to Raja without Logan

    Good on most days
The saddest opening I’ve ever heard. Klay went to another team for fifty mill, someone grandma didn’t just die. Relax, you’ll be okay.

    Get rid of Logan
Logan ruins the whole feed. He tries to hard. Curses to much and sounds corny doing it. We get it Logan, you’re black. You’re way to smart to speak that way and you make the other hosts uncomfortable. Get it together

    worth it
the continuinty / CONTinuity scandal was the first time a podcast has made me actually full gut laugh out loud so completely worth it.

    Honest
I love Group Chat. I am not a fan of Logan tbh. If I see a group chat episode I’m in…but real ones will be skipped

    Continuity
Like Raja much more than I would have imagined, as a Lakers fan. If Logan could stop going overboard whenever he says the word partners, and learn how to say the word continuity, I’d have no complaints.
  • Visc@B@rc@1
    Mid at Best
Enjoy the instant pods. Need more substance in your analysis. The rotating cast of bloviators leads to a lot of inconsistency in quality. The cheesy potty mouth man-child with the early aughts takes needs to grow up. Only Bill would consider some of this culturally relevant.
  • JackGio11
    First take 2.0
They just spew hot takes with nothing to back it up, starting to question if these even watch basketball. They don’t even cover what’s topical because they want to feel unique and it just ends up being a garbage product.
  • Chris8383$$$
    SMH Wos
Group chat is great but Logan and Raj I just can’t listen to them. Group Chat could make this a 5 by themselves and I love the show but Wos ruined it by complimenting Stephen Smith who never deserves praise from anyone. Wos I still love to listen to you but no longer respect you after bringing Stephen into a sports conversation
  • Pahrka
Wos so negative and overly critical
Really only enjoy the Rob takes lately. Wos is so extra with his hateful criticisms. Doesn’t provide anything constructive just rips on players and teams. Begs the question if he even enjoys basketball. Rob is thoughtful and provides well balanced analysis and insight. Would be so much better without Wos

    She’s back!!!
@seeratsohi is back! You were missed!

    Not a fan
I get the sense when I listen to this show that it’s just some fans sharing surface level opinions. I can get the same info and insights from my friends. It’s a no for me.

A five star if Howard Beck is on all the time
Real ones this past week with Howard Beck and Raja Bell was definitely great. If they were the only two on I would definitely rate them 5 stars.
  • mr. midnight 1978
    Some good some bad
Raja is by far the standout. Logan is a good addition, but they don’t need Beck. I feel as if his placement is forced. I will still listen for Raja, I feel as if he is a quality analyst. The other show with Wos and those two super nerds is bad. Wos has too many garbage takes, which is annoying because his primary debate strategy is just to laugh really loud and say “Come on now guys”. And the two nerds are too effeminate to push back, so they just serve as Wos’ yes men. Example: The fact that he went on and on laughing off Sabonis as a third team candidat….but put Haliburton on second team for having two and a half good months is the nail in the coffin for me as far as this show goes.

Group Chat and Real Ones opinion
Group Chat: I really only listen to the podcast to hear Rob Mahoney and his opinions. He does a good job breaking down the games and provides great insight into players strengths and weaknesses. Wos is ok, I think he is pretty good in doses and can provide some good insight at times. He tends to be pretty negative and bashes players quite a bit. It feels like he goes through the different options to responding to a question in his head, and always will go for the hottest take. Justin is sadly dragging the show down in my opinion. Compared to Wos and especially Rob you can just tell he doesn’t watch enough basketball. He delivers opinions and thoughts that are pretty weak. He prioritizes creating conflict to make the podcast “interesting” but that makes him come a across as an idiot sometimes. Real Ones: I haven’t listened since 2022 because Logan Murdock gets on my nerves. I love listening to Raja breakdown his thoughts about players and matchups. I think Raja is great on that podcast. Logan’s questions are mediocre at best most of the time, but his opinions are just irritating and lazy. It feels like Logan is just looking for approval from Raja most of the time, even though he’s the host! The dynamic is backwards.
