    Wish there were more
I recently discovered Mike Colameco’s Real Food episodes for PBS on YouTube, and then found these podcasts. I’ve listened to them all and learned a lot about NY history and chef culture, a lot about wine, and much more on various aspects of the food and restaurant industry. These podcasts are a great supplement to Mike’s TV show, as he gets a bit more exuberant and in-depth on various subjects. The delivery and presentation are great. Sometimes he talks over his guests, but that’s the New Yorker in him. Otherwise Mike is very gracious and gets good interviews done. And there’s no FCC so real language is used. I wish there were more!

    Good wine guests
For now, I've only listened to episodes with topics related to wine, of which there are many. Mike has great rapport with his guest who are amongst the most knowledgeable wine professionals in the country. I can sense his genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for developing wine trends that can guide listeners to more diverse and affordable wine options. It's fun when he and his guests taste wine, but slurping and sucking sounds never sound good on the radio.

    Fun for Foodies
I used to listen to Colameco's last podcast and was sorry when it ended. After listening to 2 of these new podcast I can say he's back in the saddle with a microphone. He has interesting guests and a good delivery. Fun for foodies. My only complaint is that the volume changes dramatically from loud to whisper, which could the placement of the mics in the recording room.
