I realize it takes time to make content, but I haven’t heard anything from Bassem in many months. Even just a quick update would be nice

    Wonderful
Mr Youssef is a fantastic podcast host. He’s funny, charismatic, and warm. I only recently discovered this podcast and I hope it’s only on hiatus, because I’d love to see a new batch of episodes.

    Bassem is inspiring
Bassem Youssef’s podcast is great. He explores interesting topics of belonging and immigration and show biz with humor and compassion. He even had Jordan Petersen on. I’m not a fan but I thought it was brave of Bassem to do it. Bassem seems so mellow and accommodating but he stands up for what he believes. Great interviewer. And a great perspective from a part of the world we don’t often hear from. He keeps it light but interesting. He’s not doctrinaire but he insists on defending liberal values. Highly recommended.

I’m going to attempt to get my mom to listen!
If the open-minded conversations happening here are expanding what I thought was my own open-mindedness, I’m imaging they stand a good chance of shaking the core of what I see as close-mindedness in some family members and friends. Maybe, just maaayybe that shaking will create some foundational cracking. A fissure or two or more where new ideas and the grasping of a different perspective can seep in and put pressure on old thoughts, and mold new thoughts! Thank you for this tool. Thank you for getting these voices out there. Thank you for the smiles. And, please, wish me luck. ;)

    Hmmm...
Ok he made a pod cast after coming to the usa. Does that mean he’s done with the revolution? Ok he gave up on being a doctor for the revolution, but does that mean he’s done with science? OR is he making plans for a revolution in evolution? Maybe another short film in the works..?

    Informative and Engaging
I was really happy when I found out Bassem has his own Podcast as I was a big fan of his show in Egypt. This podcast in unapologetically real and sincere in its portrayal of real America. I learned so much from listening to this and truly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the following seasons! Keep up the good work Bassem!

    A real find!
Bassem Yousef brings incisive humor and generous intelligence to the podcast, which features him in conversation with guests who are equally interesting. In exploring differences, he deftly uncovers connections. A delightful podcast. I can’t wait for the next season.

    Wonderful, wise podcaster.
I love Bassem Youssef’s podcast, and am so grateful to Preet Bharara for pointing me and all his listeners towards it. Mr. Youssef’s style is so endearing and playful, but leads us to sometimes profound and important insights. Well worth the time to listen. As much as I regret that various factors made it uncomfortable or even dangerous for Bassem Y. to remain in his country of origin, I’m extremely glad to now have him and his family sharing the USA as home, with me and all the rest of the gang. If only we could all be as positive, open-minded, wise, and useful to a good society as Mssrs. Youssef and Bharara!

    So good
This is such a good podcast and I can’t wait for the next season.

    Into it
This is a deeply charming podcast. It’s serious but not depressing. I lived in the Middle East during the Arab Spring as an American college student and Bassem Youssef is a hero, both then and now. Also I want to marry his voice. I realize that he’s married, but perhaps just his voice is available? Just a thought.

    Gentleness

    Stories
I just found this podcast. And what I think is that telling each other stories reweaves the the fabric of this great Country. Thank you

I’ve never had a potato soup like this!!!
Bassem’s recipe for Old World Root Vegetables Soup will change your life. I am certain that it cured me of the grippe last September, and credit its daily consumption with my stellar Grade Point Average. Make sure you salt to taste instead of following the measurements, unless you smoke more than two Cigars a day.

    Terrific Podcast!
I just listened to the Podcast with Sheila Nevins (this was the third “Remade in America” podcast that I have listened to - each has been fantastic) and it was marvelous. I can’t wait to see “Pelican 895” now - what a story, and what an amazing woman. Bassem has a gift with establishing an immediate rapport with each of his guests - the interviews just roll into the most fascinating, ease-filled conversations. Great job, Bassem! I could listen to you for hours! I can’t wait to hear the remaining podcasts and also look forward to Season II!

    Bravo Bassem !
I’d like what your doing and every single step you’re taking here in America. You are smart, talented and have all what you need to compete here in that huge media market. I trust you and I am sure once you figure out how the media works in US you will find your way! So smart topic for that podcast... Good Luck !

    Great Pod
When I head him interviewing on another Pod, I knew I had to subscribe. I wish I could have him come to speak to my high school Multicultural Studies students. Love his insights and topic choices.

Too Many commercials in the body of the podcast!
There are too many commercials in the body of the podcast! Limit them to one at the beginning and one at the end if you MUST have any at all! Your podcasts are interesting and informative but too many commercials make one consider deleting your podcasts entirely.
  • FivePointsEd
    Smart, humorous, poignant.
Interesting to hear modern immigration stories and consider how times have changed since my great-great grandparents immigrated.
