I just discovered this show a month ago and to find out Buzz is retiring the show in a few weeks is really unfortunate. He reminds me of a much better version of Paul Harvey. I'll still get my fix when he does the Bob Cesca show. Really wish I would've discovered this gem years ago.

I always look forward to Buzz’s/Mike’s commentary on Thursday. It is a highlight of my week. Thursdays won’t be as fun after January 21, but I am glad to have had your help in getting through this last four years.

Buzz, Thank you for postponing your retirement to help us get through the last four years. I include you in that elite group of broadcasters,Stephanie, Bob, Rachael, Joy, Randi, T-Rex, and Jodi. All of you have been the pillars of my sanity. You will be missed, but I am excited for your new journey.

Buzz consistently delivers the caliber of news I remember from my teens-30s, before news became mostly speculation, punditry, and 24/7 for-profit garbage. This podcast is informative, pertinent, well-summarized, and most importantly, consistent. I hope he’s not offended, but he reminds me of a modern, far hipper Paul Harvey. Thanks to Buzz (and Bob Cesca, another solid podcast, but with more humor and opinion), I am well-informed on the current chaos here and abroad. Download it. You’ll be glad you did.

Buzz's voice brings calm in the middle of today's news media storm. Like beacon in the night, Buzz reassures the listener, "we know what's happening and the truth will prevail." I'm deeply thankful for his work and look forward to listening to his concise truthful podcast.

I came to know of Buzz and his podcast by listening to Bob Cesca’s podcast. I love Buzz’s humor on Bob’s. Buzz’s voice sounds like the late Paul Harvey’s.

Be careful. Most of the stated facts in this podcast can be proven true. But they are told with such far left wing bias that you’ll question them anyway. Often, opinion will also be slipped in and presented as fact. You have to listen carefully. It’s basically the left wing version of Hannity or Oreilly on Fox. The first 40 minutes will be Trump hate. Makes sense, most of us do. Worth investing a hour a week to listen to, just know what you’re getting before you hit the play button.

Burbank has one of the Great Radio Voices, and lots of experience as a journalist. His weekly (only weekly, sadly) summation the news is one of the highlights of my week! And it's not all serious...the final quarter or so is devoted to News of the Weird, always amusing!

Buzz does an excellent job summarizing the week's top stories with factual content followed by quick wit. I love it.

There's something about Buzz's delivery that reminds of Paul Harvey - a straightforward no holds barred telling of today's news with a lot of humor thrown in. But Buzz is very much his own man. Love listening to him on both this and on Bob Cesca's podcast every week!

Buzz Burbank is a national treasure. He's got a keen sense for what's happening in our political landscape and what it all means. He's on my 'Must Listen To' list weekly.

Review update 12-5-17: I wrote the below review well before the election, so it feels right to add some thoughts. To my mind, Buzz's reality based approach offers rational clarity with ear pleasing delivery. Since Trump has been in office, I've been able to count on this weekly podcast to be a reliable source of informative insights. Original Review - BuzzBurbank, News and Commentary, to my trained ear is the finest, most informative, best written and superbly delivered daily radio news broadcast currently being produced. The fact that it comes from a one-man world-wide astounds me. "Buzz Burbank" is a demonstration of great talent and terrific news judgement.

Title says it all. If that is what you are into, go ahead and give it a listen.

I tried some other newscasts and Buzz is just the best. UPDATE: I *LOVE* the new weekly, long format.

The new weekly format will be phenomenal, if Day 1 is any indication. Specifics from the week and also looks at the whole picture. Buzz's political views are left leaning, so be warned if that's not something you're into, or could at least find tolerable. However, he's not completely one-sided in that he calls out Democrats when needed. Will continue to be a subscriber to this podcast until Buzz retires, which I hope won't be for some time to come.

Have enjoyed BBNC for about a year now. Like the fact that you get a lot of news stories that are not found elsewhere and cover a broad range of topics. Also enjoyed the daily 15-minute bursts of news that fit nicely in my day, but that format changed as of December 2016 to a longer, weekly format. While the content is still good, the longer segments in one sitting are a larger commitment in one setting and feel sporadic instead of the consistant, daily updates I enjoyed. While I do like the podcast, not sure this podcast fits my listening style any longer. May have to find a better source to keep me on top of current world events as they happen instead of waiting to see if it's covered here weekly.

I was able to tolerate his political opinions. Then when he went into a political rant after the elections I threw in the towel. Hardcore leftist.

I loved you buzz! After the years of listening to you, you have gotten lazy with your stories and research! You are no better then Fox News or the today show! You have become a sensationalist! Whether it's about race or politics, you don't do your due diligence to find out the truth! I know this to be true because of many of your stories, mainly your stories on TSA. I work for TSA, and your stories and facts are just UNTRUE! Try harder and reveal the TRUTH!!! Until then, this loyal listener is unsubscribing!

Buzz was great for years on D&M. He furthered that tradition on TMOS. Hearing him on Don Geronimo's early incarnation of his podcast was a fun romp down memory road. He made out with a year's worth of subscription money I invested to hear Don Geronimo. I only got month's out of the amount of money I paid in. One star, Mr. Burbank, is all you get. Good day sir.

I've listened to Buzz Burbank since the 90's. Buzz was the newsman on the Don and Mike Show for many years. After the Don and Mike Show, Buzz continued to work with Mike O'Meara, both and the radio and then into the world of Podcasts where he helped Mike, Robb and Oscar build one of the more successful Podcasts available at this time. Buzz then departed the Mike O'Meara Show to build his own Podcast Network, the RELM Network, with Mark Ronick and Lowell Melser of the Marc and Lowell Show. As a side note, the negative reviews posted here are mostly from Don Geronimo trolls. Don worked with the RELM Network for a short period of time, only to flee from the Network due to a failure to understand his contract. Don then used his ability to alter the truth to focus some of his flying monkeys at the RELM Network. This should not prevent new listeners from checking out Buzz's news Podcast. One of the best available. With that being said, I've enjoyed news from Buzz over the years due to his ability to provide the news of the day along with odd, interesting tales and funny stories from around the world.

Buzz Burbank's news and comment satisfies an itch I haven't been able to scratch since the passing of Paul Harvey. Keep it up, Buzz!

January 14, 2015 Still my top choice for daily news. Every important story from the 24-Hour News Cycle presented in a smart, funny 15 minutes. It's the perfect news progrum! June 11, 2013 The Thinking Man's Newsman! Rational, reasonable commentary on the news of the day, along with witty insight into the irrational and unreasonable news of the day. Buzz is the hipper version of Paul Harvey!

I cannot stand this podcast. He talks a lot about riding the coattails of a famous dj only to betray him later and steal money. His news is boring and he lies a lot.

I will no longer be a listener to BBNC due to bad business practices. The only reason I was a listener was to support the D&M legacy, but it has become evident that Mike E. no longer respects that history.

Heavy liberal slant parading as balanced and unbiased. Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. The news is usually a day old and can be had elsewhere in a much more comprehensive and unbiased package. The host's copy is dull and uninspired as is his 70s era playboy persona. Buzz Burbank's news and comment is like listening to a plate of dry toast.

A great 15 minute newscast 5 days a week, without any corporate interference!
