horsegirl 5Perfect timingI lost my job of over 20 years after my mom passed away and my job did not have a very good policy on allowing employees to grieve. I found your Podcasts about two months ago and I’ve been listening to every single episode. It’s been helping a lot. I still haven’t found a job but I’ve had some leads. I think it’s a wonderful podcast and I hope you can continue to keep it and I will listen each week. It’s inspiring. It makes me feel like I have a direction to go because this job process is really really really hard.!

AbcldrhdbdiFantastic Podcast!I just listened to your episode titled, “You Don’t Need a College Degree” and found it to be awesome! It’s presented professionally and easy to listen to. I’m amazed how your husband was able to land a job as a software engineer even though he never went to school for that. He’s got a degree in aviation. Great podcast!

Tamara LashchykGreat show!!!Lorraine's insights are spot on and I love her style. Lorraine clearly understands that most career advice that we've been given is false. This is why so many mid-late career professionals feel stuck in soul-crushing jobs and are unable to find their way to fulfulling careers. Lorraine's podcast helps grease the wheels and set you into motion so that you can find joy and fulfillment in your career.

BSH1730Outstanding insight from Lorraine.Lorraine’s podcast is very helpful to anyone who’s feeling stuck in their career or job search. I love her message that your career history doesn’t have mistakes in it, they were simply choices you made at that time. Life happens, and be confident in the choices you made, regardless of the situation or circumstances. Thanks Lorraine.

Shamrock79Awesome & Inspiring Career PodcastCareer UpRising is filled with practical career tips and advice, as well as, guidance and inspiration. I especially loved episode #57 about self confidence, episode 4, which is about setting an intention, episode #40 about leaving your job to create a business, and episode # 46 Getting Unstuck in Your Career! When Lorraine talks about a subject on her podcast, it is like she is in the room with you having a conversation. There have been so many times where I can relate to what she says and the information that is provided is not the typical information that you can find when doing research on searching for a particular position. You can really tell that she is passionate and cares about her listeners. Her podcast has inspired me to start a business that I love! I follow her on LinkedIn, Facebook, and receive updates in her newsletter. Keep up the relevant and awesome content Lorraine!

DCMonicaEpisode 4Career UpRising is an excellent podcast if you are considering changing careers, positions within the same field or just seeking the right fit. Every single nugget of advice is a nudge in the right direction. Lorraine Rise hits the mark with her Career UpRising podcast, but in particular with Episode 4: Setting an Intention (at least for me). Lorraine speaks to the fact that just changing jobs hastily, while unhappy with your current situation, could land you in the same position since you are "running away" rather than running towards a specific goal or direction. Therefore, setting an intention and focusing on what you truly want and what you wish to gain, is the single most important thing you can do in your search. How inspiring and illuminating! Lorraine's words always hit the mark. I recommend Career UpRising for anyone looking for inspiration or guidance and would suggest listening to this episode first (even though it is out of order from the first three) before embarking on your job hunt.
