When Covid first hit, they didn’t let people in crowded, live theaters, so thankfully I wandered into Madigan’s Pubcast. Love the “life on the road” stories, the current event stuff that’s so heavy, but Madigan comes outta left field and gives us a break. She just a damned funny comedian! Never goes preachy, and always heads for fun, bizarre topics. Laughing and smiling are good for you. Listen to this one!

I have listened to every single episode at least once. Kathleen’s lighthearted but realistic outlook on life has helped me see the joy in the little things like unique treats and a good beer.

This podcast started strong and only got better. If you like wacky snacks, cats named after drug kingpins and Dolly Parton, this is the podcast for you.

Kathleen Madigan‘s podcast is funny, informative, and very entertaining. I could listen to her for days and days. She keeps us up on what’s new and I love her views. Give it a try I think you’ll like it.

I was never drawn to a one-person podcast, but I’ve enjoyed Kathleen’s shows and the podcast was recommended by my husband so I tried it. I’m hooked (even though I don’t have “an addictive personality”)! I enjoy Kathleen’s clever humor, her unique point of view and all the stories. Thank you for doing this “for us,” Kathleen!!!!!

Kathleen is who I would want on the stool next to me in any bar. I think she is hysterical and intelligent. I’m a 72 year old woman originally from Buffalo, NY and I find her humor to be very entertaining in a girl-next-door way. She is my favorite comedian.

She is, without a doubt, THE BEST!!!! Love the podcast and re-watched the stand ups to get me through recovery from nasty surgery…and it worked!!! 😉😉😉

I love this lady, BUT it’s annoying that you can barely hear her producer (?) in the background, chipping in. So either turn up her mike or cut her input, please!

Kathleen is awesome and righteously hilarious in a way that feels like home. But the loud girl off-microphone in the background letting off her constant, annoying laugh ruins the show. That girl makes me stop listening every time I try. Nearly impossible to listen with headphones because of her volume. It's to the point that it interrupts the flow of discussion. Pleeeeease get rid of her.

Kathleen is so great but the incessant, mindless laughter in the background makes me want to turn it off. She’s like the super annoying friend that nervous laughs at everything you say. Please, please shut her up. Takes away from a great podcast.

I am new to the pubcast and have not listened yet. I saw her live show a week ago and she is hilarious - loved her performance. Her jokes were awesome and i would love to see her next time she does a show. She is one of my favorite comedians and i am sure her pubcast will not disappoint

Live show was horrible! Comedy show was funny but then doing it live a year later not relevant anymore. Jokes fell flat and banter on podcast is funny so do that live! Never once referred to audience as “termites” or any current content! Don’t waste money on live shows!

I love this podcast and I think Kathleen is one of the funniest comedians out there. I do fast forward thru the gifts section because I can’t stand the eating and talking either. If she could just keep the eating during that part, this podcast would be perfect. However, she eats and talks with her mouth full throughout the podcast. I just can’t listen anymore. Please stop eating and talking Kathleen. You’re going to choke to death.

I was missing mama termite and went to see if there were any episodes I had skipped. Nope, never! I guess I will have to wait…

she’s got it all going on; l can listen (or watch her) for hours, and then watch the same thing the next day… Not with anyone else. There is always something new l detect; a tone, a phrase, a grunt, an expression…. l am hooked…. She’s someone to study… nevertheless no one can do what she does, it’s not just comedy, Kathleen projects her personality, in fact, her life out to her audience… just pay attention. Thanks Kat, you bring joy to a world that is hungry for it.

I love watching Kathleen’s comedy shows, and I also love listening to her “pubcast.” When I listen, I feel like I’m sitting at a table in a pub with Kathleen listening to her take on various topics in pop culture and sports. Lots of interesting content. I just want to add that “Beth” by KISS was sung by their drummer, Peter Criss - not Paul Stanley. Love the show- keep it going!

This is the only podcast I listen to regularly. There are others I’ll catch from time to time if the guest or the subject is interesting, but Mama Termite is ALWAYS great and even when I don’t care about the subject, she still makes it interesting. Sports? Not unless Kathleen is talking. I’d even watch ESPN if they made her one of the talking heads :) Thanks to her, I can even hold a conversation on the topic (if they don’t get too detailed, lol). Paddles, you rock! I love your laugh and your reactions. Thanks for helping make the magic happen! Thanks for providing happiness and a voice of reason in this mad (and getting madder) world.

If you want to hear non-serious news reported to you funny, listen to this podcast. She does great impressions, Dolly Parton, Lewis Black, and comedian Ron White. Plus her assistant in the background without a microphone is hilarious.

I have loved Kathleen Madigan since I first saw her do standup and she has remained dependable. Found out about the Pubcast from her Amazon special and I’m sooo happy. I love hearing about the snacks and the news items, Queens News, updates and what we are watching. Because of this Pubcast, I went in to a Buc-ee’s. They have no idea what Kathleen has done as far as spreading the word. And I have to find Old Bay Goldfish crackers. Between her and Paddles’ two cents every do often, this podcast is a good time.

As a true crime podcast listener, I loved the bonus episode with Mandy. Kathleen is funny and intelligent. It would be great to hear more of these conversations with other true crime podcasters…but that may be too much work. 😉

Maybe it’s the content or her voice or something, but I can listen to Kathleen talk all day. Now I have that option. I can even listen to her talk about Branson, of all places…and be interested. It’s really like listening to her have a conversation. That train of thought. She travels and gives reviews of places she goes. If you live vicariously, like me, it’s great! The only thing is, I have to listen to her with earbuds because she tries out different snacks people send her and, my wife, can’t stand the chewing. She has a bad case of misophonia. So I can’t share; that’s the only drawback.

Very funny and enjoyable. Need more than one episode per week. I often and I mean often refer to you stories from the Pubcast and my says “let me guess Kathleen Madigan”. To which I says in absolute laughter. So much fun. -Jim Feeney Columbus, Ohio

It just so happens that the first hotel had a remote with dead batteries, and the next place had no TV because the antenna blew down after a storm. We need our bedtime story. At the end of my father’s life he was sick and came to live with me and my husband and our two young sons. Every morning during breakfast he would read the newspaper and highlight his favorite stories and add a lot of commentary and funny anecdotes that just came up. He passed away 12 years ago and I don’t even get the newspaper anymore. But! OMG Kathleen, you have actually brought back this amazing part of my life with your news commentary, updates and just hilarious banter. Dad was huge on football which none of us cared about, so you have even nailed that! Thank you for this fantastic podcast, it just makes me smile and makes my heart sing. PS- I am originally from Fort Worth and wanted to go there from Florida just to see your show!!! Still trying and Gonna send my friends! Thanks for all the FW love!
