I have been listening to Prof Laurie Santos’ excellent podcast “The Happiness Lab” & was interested to see a new BBC podcast on the same subject. However, the content is almost completely copied from Prof Santos’ version - even down to the example of 80,000 choices on the menu in a Starbucks coffee shop! The Presenter here says this is a “groundbreaking course” from Bristol Uni without giving any credit for the original course at Yale. The podcast is also less well organised & presented. I would recommend listening to the original series instead.

These hacks are the same things you read in self help books. They may be “science” backed, but they won’t really help if you’re deeply unhappy.
