The Hopeful VeganFood vs FactsI love this podcast and all of the great legal advice and information from these 4 brilliant legal minds. I just wish that food/advertising suggestions made would be Vegan and not highlight eating some version of a murdered animal In the latest podcast it was hot dogs and I am pretty sure they were not referring to one of the delicious and cruelty-free versions! Thanks for all that you do, Kimberly, Jill, Joyce and Barbara! Sheila G Montara, Ca

John triathleteI love this show! This podcast is a real treat for those who like thoughtful consideration of the law, current events, and even good reads and good shows to take in. Not being a lawyer, I’ve learned so much about how the law works, how lawyers think, and the history of the law. It’s all insightful and done with humor, detailed explanations, and clarity. The Sisters don’t always agree, but therein lies some of the best insights into how the law works (or doesn’t) in the way it does. Moreover, they take listeners’ questions with seriousness and joy. The Sisters are the best. And, as I write, one of their dogs is chiming in with his opinion in the background. So you get outside, unsolicited opinions too! What more can you ask?

7cpmInformative!I really enjoy listening to the Sisters In Law weekly podcast. It is so informative, explaining the ins and outs of the chaos which currently inhabits our country. The ladies give you all of the facts while putting things in easy to understand terms. They provide it all with a little humor to keep you “off the ledge.” Thank you, Ladies!

SydneySaysWhatBiased and fear mongeringI came for the legal discussion and left when they started fear mongering over Project 2025, which was just boring to listen to, rather than covering what the current administration and Congress are doing, and failed to address many relevant cases around freedom of speech such as the arrest of protestors and U.S. reps failing to abide by international law.
-
@fataraeTerrific new podcast! These four amazing women discussing current events through the prism of collective decades of each of their own unique experience of the law will enhance your understanding of anything they tackle. Highly recommended. Update: I love these women! They always deliver the goods.
-
Roz H.Great Show today!Ladies, you nailed it today with 2 key topics on my mind this week. Explaining clearly WHY the NY Judge ruled on the Trump Hush Money case and your discussion about the new changes with the social media platforms from Meta. Thanks .

11dalyaSo many good topicsI love how they address topics and discussions on current events. The weekly podcast is a great way to summarize the week's events and the questions from listeners at the end of each episode provide thought-provoking questions that the four hosts answer. Great show.

Shaye13Another sisterAnother career prosecutor here- because of you Jill. 25 yrs as a DA & 8 as a judge. Another North Shore Jill, but a 50 year Colorado resident now. scog@&$A Must ListenThese #SistersInLaw are very intelligent and informative. They also break it up with a little fun. They are colleagues and friends. This show was highly recommended. So glad I found it! Thank you #SistersInLaw!!!!!!

Lake Erie KidReconflagrates my fascination with the law!(Yes, “conflagrates” is a nod to Jill’s story today. ) It’s amazing how their humor coexists so comfortably with the clarity of their explanation of complex legal topics. I learn so much each week from four women who genuinely like and respect each other. None of the interrupting and talking over each other and ham-fisted jokes that make me run from other (dare I say often more guy-dominated) podcasts. Thank you, Joyce, Barb, Jill and Kimberly! You are the gold standard!

FrandalSmart, erudite—too many ads! These legal experts are smart, relevant and informative. However, getting tired of all the ads!
-
wdhulTired of all the lengthy advertisementsSeveral 15 second ads dispersed through a podcast is one thing, but here there are 2 and 3 minute segments of ads three and more times in an hour long podcast. The annoyance factor has become too great. No longer worth my time. Being too greedy with ads will ruin the podcast experience. Time to move on.
-
sfncarenough!!!please ladies, give it a break, and us -- talk about something different so I don't want to unsubscribe. I've been here since the beginning and never felt so unhappy with you all as these last few weeks. Last week it was pound Garland, this week it's Joe. Please talk about something interesting. You're ruining my Saturday morning.
-
JokersfirstLook forward to these episodes all weekBest of podcasts, best of hosts.
-
SusanfribergMostly interestingMostly interesting even to us non-lawyers. But golly Molly! - way too many ads and each of them way too long! Ironic in that, for lawyers, it’s the ads that are too ponderous 🥴.
-
gg7fyghg)Thank you!!!I have learned so much about the law and government from the Sisters- more than I ever cared to learn but need to know as a citizen who cares about this democracy. I am 65 years old and had no idea how easy it can be to up end the rule of law until the Trump/MAGA ERA. I cannot thank you enough for the way you help us keep track of the issues from a legal perspective, but more importantly give me some hope this democracy can survive another round. We need you to keep up the fight to save our democracy!

Financial Karma CoachKeep it coming, we need youThis is my favorite podcast. What’s not to love and need from four brilliant thinkers. It’s entertaining, thoughtful, researched/vetted for truth telling and even enjoyable. The enjoyable part is a sense I know that these women “got my back” and relate to so many of us. One example is when I talked about Joyce Vance to my daughter and she said, “Mom, you do know you don’t actually know Joyce, right?” I should have answered, “Well you better her”. Looking forward to the next episode for more wisdom and clarity.

SafetyForKidsLove the showI appreciate all you do. Please use Spoutible instead of BlueSky- which is financed by a Russian! Dorsey is no hero. Spoutible is a safer choice.

LLM1102More “Law” Discussion PleaseThese women are so accomplished, articulate and thoughtful. Unfortunately, political discussions have really dominated their podcasts this year at the expense of a focus on legal issues. I understand how it started to change direction given that so many lawsuits involved Trump, but there are other interesting cases around the country that deserve attention.
-
2Lilies2Thank goodness for these ladiesI absolutely love listening to Sisters in Law. Since the election I have not been able to listen to or watch much news because I am so heartbroken with the results if the election and what is to come in the next 4 years. So going in an listening to these amazing, talented and well educated ladies eases my mind if some level. Thank you ladies for sharing your knowledge with those of us that take the time to be informed!!!
-
80221No reason for optimismI so admire these brilliant women, but speaking about what will happen after four years of Trump makes no sense. What will be left and who will be left to support whatever remnants of democracy remain? Please read Stephen Spoonamore’s ‘ Duty to Warb Letter to VP Harris Re:Election 2024’ on Threads.

VioletMeadowsMissingAny analysis of this billions of dollars in bombs dropped on Palestine. Joyce in all her podcasts, is worried about Jewish people, like herself, but does not worry about Arab people.

valiant voterFacts and FriendshipMy emotional and mental IQ benefit from Sisters-in-Law. My busy life slowed in 1974. With a new baby, I became immersed in Watergate live broadcasts. As a retired teacher and widow, my lifestyle has enabled to me to be a devoted fan of MSNBC since 2014. So the Sisters seem like trusted friends to me ! They provide legal facts intelligently as well as historical background. Due to the variety in their ages their perspective in communication is appealing. Humor and empathy add spice. Sisters-in-law gives me the truth without raising my blood pressure. I love these ladies ! Now to recover from the shock of this election I find hope and comfort with my Sisters !

WoofiesmommyPhishyHi Kim, Russian bomb threats in strategic voting locations, is fishy (or phishy)! You appropriately played a hacking ad after you answered the question of a rigged election. I don’t feel confident this was a safe election. It smells like someone hacked it.

as9nAlways a sane discussionThese four women have so much smarts about the law and politics, and are so honest in their evaluation of current events. They have a great ability to simplify very complex legal issues and put them into context. And they can do it with humor and self-deprecation!
-
Mommy7520Knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthyI learn something new every time I listen to Sisters in Law. They are all very likeable.

"mouse"Five Star LadiesThese ladies are among the most well informed people you’ll ever meet regarding both politics and the legal system, and they do their best to keep the rest of us in the know. That’s because there are so many others wanting to keep us in the dark. Listen to just one full episode and you’ll know why I say this!
