amesstewartThey Support and are sponsored by Predatory companies.Hello, I am just a little shocked that there is no accountability with an organization that claims to support authors. I paid for their membership and I believed I could trust their watchdog list, but was taken advantage of one of their highly rated members/partners/sponsors. Gatekeeper Press is one of this podcasts sponsors and in their ad even promises 100% satisfaction. There is nothing stating that if you are not satisfied they will force you to sign an NDA before offering any solutions. They misled me, promised things they could not deliver, charged me for services that were not needed, not rendered, or done improperly. They later confiscated royalties. ALLi and their watchdog group “looked into it” and has said that Gatekeeper Press has done nothing wrong or unethical, but they surely do pay for a lot of ads and so I feel their findings are biased. I recommend using Reedsy for free articles, information, reviews, and ratings. There are many other resources out there. I will never trust another suggestion from ALLi again. Really disappointing and a very expensive lesson to learn.

Dixi HWeekly news with laser focusContent that never makes the mass media yet is extremely important for independent authors. We not only hear the news, but we hear the possible ramifications as applied within our community. I consider it a vital part of my ongoing education as an author-publisher. Thank you, ALLI

LizKuyl6 stars! This podcast is EXCEPTIONAL! I only found it a month ago and have been blown away by the amount of selfless hours these authors have put into giving out hard earned information and at no cost to listeners. I’m going to support them any way I can. I’ve found you can easily navigate through episodes to find the ones that pertain to you and your current state in the publishing process. A heartfelt THANK YOU for your contribution!

Flybynight84Amazon ads presentationjust trying to keep up I have no idea what an automated versus a manual campaign is. you need to divide your Podcasts into beginning intermediate and advanced and also define what those terms are actually going to mean in terms of your audience. there’s so much jargon in some of these podcasts that I just zone out.

Player1012🙂A Nice Twist to Their DeliveryThe content is excellent — learning first hand from successful authors in various genres is always helpful. They have a method of delivering a number of their podcasts where the host summarizes what the next question is and then we hear the author's response. It's not a direct back and forth — which is also good — but I do like the host giving a clean statement of the question and then the author's answer. Good stuff. Five stars for sure.

Colonel SkipPractical and TimelyI’m new to the podcast and just listened to episode 164 about writing Book Hooks and Blurbs. I’ve written and rewritten my book description for Amazon several times. I’ve researched online and listened to other podcasts on writing a book description/blurb. This provided new information and laid things out to give me a better understanding. I am going to use this information to revise my book description. Thanks!
