vmoney36Wild landWild land Fire Fighters use this Urine Chart to monitor hydration. Great show very valuable. here’s a quick question for you guys. If you ever feel like handling it if you’re a person like myself, that is a wildland firefighter and you value hypertrophy and have some physique goals, but also need to maintain a pretty substantial level of cardio involving running three times a week 3 to 5 miles what would be some tips towards balancing the two let me just say it’s well understood that less gains would be made in both, thanks so much for the content big fan. Keep it up. Vicente.

aero109SoftBoy is this guy soft, someone get him a tissue for all his whining!

Echoes in the hallWisdom not contentAs someone who finds most fitness podcasts dubious, if not outright harmful and problematic (like Mind Pump for example) this show is a stand out in a sea of fitness advice on the internet that is focused on providing content and advice in the absence of context. The team shares the wisdom of their collective experience, always encouraging listeners to do the real work of self examination, rather than trend following, that results in real long term progress. There is no sales pitch here, just real unsexy genuine advice that applies not just to BBing but anything that requires commitment. Excellent show.

27272catCatI’ve been listening for about a year now. Great podcast for anyone who is looking to level up their lifting in general. The hosts have decades of experience and provide practical solutions for mostly training and nutrition protocols. Lots of variety!

sayshahGreat educational stuff but needs diversityHuge fan of the educational content these folks put out. But the delivery of the content is tough to absorb because the delivery is SO dry and academic. Which is fine if you enjoy that sort of stuff! Just very hard to get into and absorb the information since there is not a lot of chemistry or charisma being delivered. Another complaint that is a HUGE commonality between all natty bodybuilder podcasts: ZERO women are interviewed or featured. Just legions of white or white-passing dudes in polo shirts affirming each other. Considering that bikini/female bodybuilding is the thing that has revitalized bodybuilding economically over the past 15 years it seems like a huge oversight. Also there are plenty of folks who are not cis het men who want to know how to gain muscle and lose fat.

Skylar CoxSaved meI’ve been listening to these guys for years. I’m in year three of dental school currently and I can confidently say that I would not even be able to have continued my fitness journey without 3DMJ. The amount of information they provide is unmatched; but beyond that I’ve never listened to anyone else provide positive and realistic solutions to longevity the way these guys do, making the advice timeless. I learn about life from this team. Awesome podcast and even better people
-
irisemoFinallyI love this podcast because it is wholesome, informative, and no self centered chatter. Very inspiring and amazing for my 2 hour commute!! These guys are such a gem. I’m a novice bikini competitor and this show really speaks to my journey
-
jes🥰MixedLove this podcast as it’s the best people in the industry giving top notch advice but Andreas “uhhh” constantly and LONG pauses is a little irritating to listen to over and over again. Sounds like she’s just talking to talk sometimes.

danjloopNew 3dmj Episode!!Yesssss

JasoninvaOutstanding resource for natural bodybuildingEvidence based resource for natural Judy builders. Sending many people to pro shows. Not selling product. Just providing amazing information.
-
longtoehairsThe BEST BBer ResourceThe content 3DMJ puts out is like free gold. Each episode gives you an in depth look at the nuances of natural bodybuilding and will give you deeper insight into your training. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience in the trenches, 3DMJ can help take you to the next level.

N97648In Depth and TransparentThis podcast has given me a very honest look into the hurdles of bodybuilding (naturally!) and also how to overcome them. There’s a recurring theme on being a regular human being while bodybuilding rather than a hermit with no life. If you have any interest in bodybuilding, you will learn from this podcast.

OliviaSatanQualitySuper quality content for lifters
-
DcheleyDisappointedListen to one podcast and it’s just so dry I couldn’t continue.
-
Mkay205Super valuable!Awesome content! Awesome personalities! Highly recommend. I’ve learned a lot from this podcast

Jax Karel3DMYesI’ve been working with my coach for about four years now, training as a powerlifter, and about a month and a half ago decided to finally pull to trigger and compete next year as a bodybuilder. The first thing I asked was who do I need to be listening to, and how can I be mentally preparing for this show? He sent me here, and I am so glad he did. Y’all have helped change my perspective on so many topics, and even helped me inadvertently fix my form on a few things. I am excited going into this year and a half+ journey to my first show, and I am grateful for the support and education y’all provide. I recommend you to anyone I know who lifts and/or competes.

delphi888Informational AFVery knoweldegable people, and also very down to earth and pleasant - not cocky and...odnoxious as many other folks in the fitness biz. They cover their topics extensively and back it up with solid experience and scientific information. If you get the chance, check their Pyramid books - they have all the information you'll ever need - Excellent material!
-
ScmoormanExcellent source of informationThey pick topics that a lot of us (coaches and athletes) would like more information on or a better understanding. Like any good researcher, they cite their studies. They, most importantly, dive in to the practical application of information from said studies and discussions. High quality podcast!
-
Aaron2691Love the showThe 3DMJ folks are great! Always love hearing them share their down to earth takes about the iron grind. I especially appreciate all the focus on the holistic aspects of bodybuilder life, i.e. bodybuilder dads episode. Great job everyone!
-
GymLover2Horrible podcastingThese podcasters are the most boring and inarticulate in the fitness space. Please get someone who knows how to put a sentence together to MC this podcast.
-
Sof.DavOne of my favorite fitness podcastsGreat content to listen to during my commutes. I do wish discussions covered the female athlete a little bit more. At times the conversations can be geared more towards the male athletes. I appreciate the no-BS content.
-
MarcialikemarcyGirl doing circlesHad me crying while I was on the step mill! Very interesting information as I approach another prep.
-
Dell28Listen to Episode 124 if new to bodybuilding!!Invaluable lessons. Wish I would’ve known the risks & how to mitigate. Thank you for an awesome overall podcast! Highly recommend.
-
HeadshowExcellent!Just heard #132 Unconventional Dieting Advice. What a great exchange of ideas. Like being a fly on the wall in a room full of experts talking “in the back”. Absolutely got into the weeds, somewhat over my head at times, but I learned a ton.
-
LumbytitleistQ&AGreat episode, I always enjoy listening to the 3dmj coaches and learning from them. Thanks again.
-
Jtmw2k11Continually learningAs a coach this is a great way to continually expand the knowledge base. Thank you all!
-
joncars17EnjoyableI have thoroughly enjoyed the episodes that have been released over the years. As a non-competitive fitness enthusiast, I have recieved a lot of informative information that is applicable to my fitness journey. I can't wait to listen to any future episodes!
-
ADA60Decent show. This is a decent show. When it comes to talking about physical fitness I felt like the people talking were knowledgeable about it. But the first two episodes I’ll listened to Included their mental health therapist/consultant. As a mental health therapist and former Division I athlete myself, I found it extremely hard to listen to the mental health consultant. She never backed her comments with research, And she never did anything more than scrape the surface with her comments. I felt like there was much more that she should have gone into depth with.
-
macan117Life SaverAwesome to find some legit information and some people to relate to. I don’t think I’ve listened to music since I found these podcasts.
-
oldbatt1966Episode #124I have listened to ALL of the episodes but i really enjoyed #124! The stories were so funny!
-
jlucas1295Unbelieveable info for ppl who love to liftThis podcast has so many lessons in each episode. I find myself relating so much to the trials and errors they share. I have lifted for 10 years now and love to constantly learn. I was given so much horrible information that has caused me to have hip arthritis at 23 years old. I also went through multiple eating disorders for the same reasons. PLEASE do yourself a favor and start following this group with an open mind

DeloSportFitBest Strength PodcastI’m a new trainer at 54...golfer, tennis player, and triathlete...listen to a lot of podcast...you all are super informative and I’m not a bodybuilder...I want mobility and strength for longevity to always be an athlete...your advice is practical and easy to understand...glad I found your podcast... thanks
-
Holly D'ArcyFive stars!Quite possibly one of the best podcasts about there for information and discussion on bodybuilding, powerlifting, and nutrition. So much pure gold to be found in these episodes. Must listen!
-
abby.ercegLove this podcastGood information and goes into some good scientific depth. Useful for both beginners and advanced trainers/athletes. If you’re looking to gain more insight behind your training and methods then this is the podcast for you
-
Pete LeonardFantastic podcastI look forward to each and every episode to gain knowledge on evidence and excellent anecdotal based pearls of wisdom to better my training, nutritional protocols, and daily habits as a natural bodybuilder
-
mini_horse24Look No FurtherAmazing content, funny and very relatable experiences. Anyone should listen, and especially those whom compete or plan to compete in any form of strength/ physique sport.
-
mpucciitmBest podcastLove listening to you guys on my flights and long drives, such valuable information!
-
Fly4Him17AwesomeBest info around.
-
IndiebdBest Podcast for Strength and Physique AthletesI've listened to literally every one of these podcasts and a few multiple times. So much quality content for strength and physique athletes, as well as some quality life messages that anyone can take with them. They cover just about everything you actually need to know and talk about some of the less "fabulous" things that come with being an athlete that a lot of people just never talk about. Would highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested in getting stronger or improving their physique while maintaining your natural status.
-
JFletchaaaInvaluableThis is a nicely done podcast that is very unique in that each show features varying voices who all bring their own “flavor” of experience to any given topic.
-
EMJ207Informative afI’m not a competitive body builder or power lifter but I still take away a tremendous amount of useful evidenced base info related to hypertrophy and strength training from this podcast
-
PhillipC7These guys know their stuff!Fun podcast with very knowledgeable people regarding bodybuilding, powerlifting, weight gain/loss, and just general health. They are science based but can really dumb things down so the common-folk can understand it. Love these guys!
-
dlittle25Fantastic Podcast with Tons of InformationThis is a fantastic podcast with ton of useful and applicable information. It's always my go to when I want to listen in on the current trends in the industry or just to learn knowledge about natural bodybuilding. I am a bit biased in my review as I had Brad Loomis as my coach from 2011 to 2014. However, you will not be dissapointed with this podcast.
-
madimiracleAwesome content but even better peopleThe 3DMJ podcast is my absolute favorite to listen to. One of the best (if not the best) sources of evidence & experience-based knowledge for all levels of lifters & types of athletes. Though the information they share and content produced is definitely top-tier, I think their greatest strength is the genuine care they have for educating others and helping them achieve their goals as well as the passion each of them has for the sport. They could probably talk about any random topic and I would still enjoy listening!
-
call_kyleThe best. The best fitness podcast out there, hands down.
-
George MatthewThank youThis podcast is incredible. It is extremely informative and entertaining. I have learned a tremendous amount about natural bodybuilding from this podcast and look forward to it every week. Thank you!
-
Al HidalgoThe Best There Is!At 59 I just placed 3rd in OCB Classic Physique Over 40, my first contest ever and I owe it to 3DMJ. Even though I’m not a 3DMJ Athlete I have listened to every podcast, watched every YouTube Video and these guys have been the best at getting me in the mindset that I needed to be in to be able to compete at a high level!
-
TheSeanPGreat advice for intelligent bodybuildersAs someone whose podcast library is filled with episodes of Mind Pump, The Jeff Nippard Podcast and The Ben Pakulski Podcast, this is a fantastic addition. For anyone who loves the gym and wants a deeper understanding of programming, diet and contest prep, this show is a MUST. Amazing, practical content delivered in a very digestible fashion - love it!
