    A closer look @ a closer look
It’s a few minutes of ads with interruptions of monologue. There are ads interrupting the monologue. Bye Seth

So grateful for Seth. Adds some much needed humor to the daily news while at the same time staying factual and well researched

    Seth Meyers is Something Else
very few humorists excel at both ends of serious and droll so effortlessly deadpan or hysterically genuine as Seth Meyers - and thats just for starters - further afield none in the business today have the charismatic sparkle of a silver screen legend, self-effacing tomfoolery of a buddhist raconteur, and winsome warmth of an alleycat baying from a fire escape as the snow falls outside fetid windowpane - but don't take my word for it - just read the transcripts of the podcasts for the so much of something else for whatever it all means to you - celebrate the joy of life or not with Seth

    Sorry, Seth
I truly appreciate your podcast - but- I cannot stand to hear the Trump voice any longer. Cringe, irritating & grating, you know ? Experiments on vocal cords like the type done on beagles in labs may be useful on silencing this idiot.

    ALWAYS BRILLIANT!!
The brilliance of Seth Meyer’s and his writers is outstanding. Seth’s closer look is not only VERY funny but enlightening and even inspirational. THANK YOU!!! For helping us bringing light and laughter to drive the darkness and hate out. We truly 💓💓💓💓 you.

I don’t think I need to explain it much but I will say this. The time I have saturated myself in your show & SNL these past 5 weeks have highlighted so much of the wit, intelligence and integrity of cleverly spoken words have given me appreciation. For how smart and funny some people are, not for anything else. Everything is terrifying. So keep up cause it’s bugging me how people pretend nothing is happening. Maybe I have a weird perspective but I think we can both agree that it may be important. I must be getting it fully loaded right now or something because circumstances and the responses from others to them are imbalanced. It is even more exciting when people tell me something that is about me and untrue & argue it to the point that I say “Fine! Even though he did, and I came here my whole life, my dad did not own that Texaco his entire adult life because it bugs you???!?!”… I think we need to get it together now, cause I don’t think anyone is driving this flying umbrella. I could use a real update. You know. Oh and give Pete a pat on the back when you see him for the skits that involve microphone static and other randomly specific & necessary acts. He could/should come get one from me though. Tomorrow. This smooth review is brought to you by Lagoona Beach. Thanks for being on it, all of you guys are fantastic and the world, while it is here still [tee hee hee], is way better hearing about this nightmare from you guys. Clever clever!

    Love “A Closer Look Back”
Fun listening to Sal and Emily recount what went into some of Seth’s Closer Looks. Definitely better than just an audio version of the normal show (though still nice to have that).

    Late Night Fair Reporting
I always enjoy this podcast. In the weeks leading up to the election, late night talk shows and the only media reporting on the election in a fair and reasonable way. I love this show, maybe I will regain my ability to laugh after the election.

    Amazing podcast!
This podcast is informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Mixing truth and humor works exceptionally well. Can we get a few more ‘undecideds’ to listen?

    I’m a kid
I’m a kid but I like politics, especially when you’re explaining it. Can you do a episode on Skibidi toilet.

    Propaganda.
Trust big pharma. Trust our reasons for escalating wars. Trust Israel. Trust all financial institution. Orange man bad. Never actually mock Kamala, the easiest target for jokes.

A Closer Look Back Should Be Piped Out Universally
The revisiting of a Closer Look episodes from 2020 is simultaneously terrifying because Trump did telegraph all the illegal things he was going to do (and it will be even worse and scarier this time in 2024) and a wistful study of Seth’s descent into madness performing with no audience because of the pandemic. We need to be reminded of the ways Trump cheated before to prepare for 2024.
  • Raincloud06
    Love it
It’s usually just “a closer look” packaged with an interview. Amazing
  • J’america
Is he trying to be funny?
Is he trying to be funny or is he just pushing a narrative from his masters big brother. We all know media is paid off. Stop the propaganda
  • Spartan Dog 98
    Love the show!!
Listen every day, great show!!! I need my corrections, you teased me today with the double post. Shoutout to animal flubs! Keep up the good work!!

    Sorry, Seth
You are usually more careful?! A short blurb about anti semitism at the end speaks support. Why not denounce Hamas in each bit who started and continues threat of genocide against Israelis. Did you forget about our own AMERICAN hostages?? Videos from UCLA show these 'silent mobs' blocking Jewish students from attending class at their college. If you try to step past, larger men would step in. If you can't speak for your cause, doesn't that speak volumes about intentions? We live in America. Jewish students at Columbia had to LEAVE CAMPUS due to actual threats and intimidation (even on their dorm room door while sleeping). HAMAS IS HAPPY. Intimidation and violence is no laughing matter. You made light of it with the bike lock bit. HAMAS loves this, and Hamas still enjoys money to buy new bombs though, and fuel to operate weapons. HAMAS IS HAPPY. Starving Palestinians is by design. Hamas keeps them vulnerable. Each threat of new Israeli attacks is the fuel that feeds media, and war. Hamas holds hostages to continue to feed the war, and narrative. In AMERICA, as in Israel, we have freedom of religion. In Israel, muslim citizens say they have more freedom and opportunity in Israel than their own countries. Arabs make up near majority of govt. Maybe that is what the 'MEDIA' could discuss.

    Maintain Your Pod
Hilarious… that it was re-labeled explicit. Gotta maintain the pod, and there’s no way this show counts as explicit.

not actually Late night with Seth Meyers
this is a very quality amalgam of podcasts. It is Corrections with Seth Meyers; it is Late Night Lit. Very rarely (if ever) is it actually Late Night with Seth Meyers. Maybe just retitle it “Late Night Adjacent, with, or without Seth Meyers!”

    Just stop
Seriously…. Just stop with the “corrections.” It’s painful. I love your normal show but I need corrections to stop popping up in my feed.
  • seaj99
    Laugh-out-loud funny!
This is one of my favorite podcasts and I miss it so much with the strike. I have laughed so much at it. Thank you to whoever decided to make a Correcshuns podcast because now I have a way to have this show back in my life again!
  • Jbs7988
Like the podcast. Miss the video.
Seth Meyers is my go to late night show. I think he’s hilarious. Part of what makes the show great is being able to see looks, gestures, you and your guest laughing etc. I loved the Amy Poehler episode but there was audience laughter when she wasn’t necessarily speaking. Maybe better suited for a podcast if the guest is not necessarily an actor/ comedian. A person with a sense of humor, absolutely!
  • Loganfool
    Where are you young man?
I always listen to a podcast when I go to sleep. I selected y’all tonight. You’re just too good. You woke me right up and kept me alert. I won’t be doing that again. I’ll listen to you at about 2 PM. Thank you for a job well done.
  • sawill90
    Good but inconsistent
Like this show the most out of the nightly show podcast genre of them. But like other reviews it’s disappointing that this isn’t consistent enough. For a “NIGHTLY” show I look forward to something to listen to the next day. But this NIGHTLY show is more like a biweekly podcast. Dont like for this reason but really enjoy it when it does post.

    Dump late night lit
Stay with your target audience. I follow Seth Meyer for Seth Meyer not the same ladies that host Delicious Dish on NPR talking about books. I CANT READ !!! well technically I can, but I choose not to. I couldn’t remember why I unfollowed Seth, so I turned it back on and very shortly had Late Night Lit shoved in my ears again. Bye bye Seth podcast. Let me know when you dump the bait and switch.

    Underrated Brilliance
TEN MF STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seth is one of THE most brilliant comedians & impressionists in my ear every week. I can’t even tell you the joy I feel (& horror- from the accuracy) when I hear his Lindsey Graham’s MEEMAW voice come over the sound waves.... EPIC, every single time. Thank you for helping to keep my sanity! -Lots of Love from a Progressive in deep red Montucky 🖤

    An idiot…
    …for Democrat idiots.
  • StephenColbertLover
I love Seth now, not Colbert
Unlike my name suggests, Seth is now my go to guy for my center-left talk-show fix! I used to like Colbert but his railroading of the small guys has got to STOP! I don’t mind that the podcast feed is a little behind, I don’t usually follow the news the day of anyway, so it ends up being perfectly times for a busy 45 y/o single dad (divorced) like me 👍

i agree, love Seth. listening to him do the trump thing cracks me up every time, it never gets old. plus i like all the rest Seth does too. what i am saying here is i agree, we need consistent Seth (a Closer Look) as he is my mental therapist!
  • weepingdiscord
    Good job
Love your show and podcast but that ain’t the best part of this. The best part is reading the one star reviews. Easiest way to brighten or darken your day is to witness other humans stupidity as it makes you realize you couldn’t be the dumbest because these people exist and outshine us in stupidity , but then you realize that there are even dumber people out there. Humanity, keep pointing out our stupidity and eventually somebody may learn something.
