idk how i found this podcast but im so glad i did, you have no idea how many days of work this has helped me get through 😂 i dont really take everything into deep thought i just love hearing the stories like a little kid with a bedtime story🙂‍↕️ 10/10

Great stories, but the majority deal with killings throughout history or even recent history. Like typhoid Mary. She wasn’t a serial killer. But this is just one of several stories that deal with death yes, but not death dealt by a serial Killer. So, I ask, why even bother calling the show serial killers?

Love the narration. No beating around the bush. Also, some content that I have never heard about each case. I was not pleased with the Menendez podcast. Felt the info was taken directly from Lyle’s testimony. Of course he is going to portray his parents as vile and despicable people. They had it coming …tight? Sorry, don’t believe for a minute Kitty supported molestation. She would rather die than have that goin on. Simply can’t believe a word these murderers are saying .

I don't know how many I've listened to this podcast but I love it. Great show

This is the most factual and well researched podcast of its kind. The hosts have a passion for accuracy and give deference to the victims. The show is not limited to crimes only in the US either. Great narration and psychological insight too.

I have to say, I’m a bit odd so it is hard for me to breach out into new things, especially podcasts. I don’t know what possessed me to listen to a full episode, but after that I was hooked. I am absolutely shocked this podcast is not on or near the top ten. The production is better than the most popular show/network, and the scripts I think are way more clever. I still listen to those other shows, but there is now way I’m taking this one out my routine any time soon. PS: And weirdly, the hosts look like they sound!

Sorry, Betty Lou was nothing more than immoral, selfish, conniving, lying white trash. Sad the writer tried to pin it all on Betty (allegedly) being physically abused by every guy she was ever involved with. Also comical how, with the exception of Betty, virtually everyone else involved was lying or mistaken. She was a cold blooded killer and justifiably found guilty! Hope she rots!

There are too many guest speakers, just stick with your original content, play acting is the first on a podcast

Is Ashley flowers going to be the host of this podcast moving forward? I can't stand that woman. Her voice is annoying, and she's a pick me, girl. Everyone knows she lies, cheat, steals and plagiarizes material. She's a horrible person and if she hosts podcast, I will unsubscribe.

If you’re going to profile serial killers then do that. Menendez brothers were killers for sure. Murderers in fact, but not serial killers. Episodes were interesting tho, but don’t fit the theme of your series.

I wanted to enjoy this podcast, but after having attempted several old and new episodes, I could not get past the artificial and robotic narration.

You won’t find a more professionally sounding presentation on true crime than this one. But also you won’t find a less credible presentation. If you listen closely you will find a barrage of unchecked assumptions that are declared as fact and the tone in which they are presented is easily mistaken as fact. The complaint here is: if you’re going to present true crime cases you have to remember and honor the first word in the phrase. Hard pass.

I was really disappointed with this episode the way the host talked about the father. I don’t believe nothing that these psychopaths say. Show respect to the real victims the parents even having these episodes was wrong this was one of the worst episodes rehashing this is bringing two psychopaths back to the forefront. Let them stay in jail and forget about them . 🤦🏽‍♂️

Put too much sympathy on the abusive parents. The brothers are not serial killers they are victims

This podcast covers stories and people I’ve never heard about before since they go way back in time, sometimes centuries, which are some of my favorite episodes. Others are some common that I don’t bother to listen. The stories are clear and engaging. However, the dialogue is way too scripted and often feels fake and inauthentic, especially when guests are on and you can hear how awkward the conversation transitions are. I’d recommend a more natural storytelling style.

I feel like im listening to AI pretending to be interested in a story. But thats only half the time. Because the other half is spent listening to commercials.

The one stop shop for great true crime stories.

Both hosts sound very monotone and computer like, and may very well actual be. Also, there are no interviews, no research details. Sounds like computer is reading me a story someone else wrote. Extremely boring.

The stories are super interesting, but I first listened to the David Xu episode and the guest journalist’s incessant laughing while recounting the (legit) ATTEMPTED MURDER just skeeved me out. Like, that’s not funny? I women, who is a leader in her field, facing extreme violence at her workplace bc a man was threatened by her brilliance is sad. I understand that discomfort makes some people laugh, but the journalist was supposed to be an expert in this case, right? Superrrr weird to hear someone saying how sick another person was and just casually chuckling.

I’ve been listing to this podcast since about 2018, and the show has only improved since that first fantastic episode. The narration and storytelling is by far some of the best work I’ve listened to. Keep up the good work!

The Chris Watts’ episodes were incredibly hard to listen to because of how much empathy/understanding was put on Chris, but not any of his victims. Gross and in poor taste.

Chris Watts is NOT A SERIAL KILLER! If anything he’s a mass killer and family annihilator. And you got details incorrect! The girls were not in the “same” oil tank they were in separate ones. Don’t just cover a story for sensationalism. Besides if this is your first time covering those murders you’re late and this is overdone. Move on. Vanessa you failed on this one.

This show used to be great. They’ve changed formats and it’s not even about serial killers anymore. Also losing one of the hosts was a bad move.

Love this show but I don’t want to hear tampon commercials twice in a row. I know I can skip, but sometimes don’t get to it in time.

Why wait until Halloween, when you have THIS SHOW? I've been listening to this show for years now and without fail every week I always get both entertained and scared. Every aspect of the show pulls it together, weither it's the physiological aspect or even just the voices they use to really set the sene it's all just amazing!!

I love these podcasts! They make me fall asleep so quickly but also sends chills down my spine! It’s so fun beacuse my friends get scared of me for listening to these type of things but I love them. Keep making more!❤️

The hosts’ voices are perfect for podcasting! I’m very picky about my podcasts, but it’s an easy listen, no matter the time of day. This is the first podcast I tell people about when recommending!

Like inane and vapid banter between the hosts and want just a straightforward well research narration.

I listen to this podcast when there is absolutely nothing else to listen to. The stories are interesting but the way the host speaks is ridiculous. These are stories about real people, at least have the respect to not tell them like you’d tell a scary story around a campfire.

So interestng the stories, the Serial Killers themselves, and the psychology of it 😮(shocking) especially the episode "toybox killer"horrifying 😱but so well done thank you Vanessa and Greg for making this podcast 😊.

Episodes are short by podcast standards. About 30 minutes or so. In those 30 minutes there’s about 10 to 15 minutes of adds. So not a great podcast in my book.

The show has taken a step back without Greg. Listened for years but now it’s stories we’ve all heard before.

This is such an amazing podcast!! I love it . So much detail is given abt the persons and thier origins and crimes , I just started but I already love it . Background sound affects or so detailed

If you have a lot of time to kill this is a good pod but if you are wanting facts not it they talk a lot about the psychology when you want the facts it’s not the right one
