Draft Dudes

I love these guys but I loved the original Draft Dudes show on the other platform. The Locked on formula can be tedious and they had much more freedom on the old show which was also longer.

Great info, love the show. My only pet peeve is they constantly discuss the fake contracts , as if they’re real. I know they know Robert hunt didn’t really get 5 years $100 m. Report the real guaranteed contract!

We miss the old podcast

The old format was a Gold mine, now it’s lost the edge. It’s less informative and lost the charisma, the funny. I used to love listening to the old podcast but after they changed last year it became unbearable. I miss the old cast.

The new version of the show has gotten boring. It used to be fun before the switch to locked on, now it’s got very little humor or entertainment value. They’ve lost sight of why people used to listen.

Avid Listener quick question

What happen to the 3rd guy that used to do 2 Truths & a Lie with you two? Also what happen to that segment? Feel like I haven’t heard it since the logo change on the Podcast. Which is a shame I always enjoyed that and the new scoring made it even more interesting. Still love the pod, but I fell for you guys because of the tangents in conversation that led to little gems and the quirky interjections that became a staple of show ( draft dudes do math lol). Keep up the good work!!

Back and Better than ever!!!!!

Kyle, Joe!!! I’m so happy that this pod is back to just the two of you, and the renewed focus on team-building is really just perfect! I’ve always enjoyed how the OG Draft Dudes’ professionalism and chemistry allows them to deliver such thoughtful and substantive analyses in a digestible, concise manner. Amongst all the content out there in the same space, I’ve really found Kyle & Joe’s depth and breadth of knowledge to be unparalleled as it relates to scouting, the draft process, understanding of team needs and coaching schemes, and familiarity with the salary cap and effect of contract restructurings. Thank you guys for being so great at what you do! And thanks for the shout out to “everydayers” such as myself!

Draft Dudes!

Really enjoy the show and been a fan of the drafts dudes for awhile now and like the new direction. It would be nice to get more draft talk around draft time and more team building in the off season / regular season.

Changes are not for the better

Love these guys, still 5 star and will continue to listen, but man, the content has gotten significantly less interesting since the switch to Locked On. It’s been way more NFL-heavy and less prospects/draft talk. I’m sure that’s great for some, but I’m here for the Draft Dudes and prospect talk.

I was scared!

This is probably one of the best shows to learn about prospects, how teams operate, and how they all flow together. They went a week without any shows and I was terrified that I lost one of the best podcasts for the NFL. They have great chemistry, are informed about the players and the happenings. They are honest, funny, and love dogs. Can’t wait to continue to listen to them!

Volume Control

I absolutely love the show I think it’s very informative, very well put together and very entertaining, however, I have a hard time hearing a lot of Kyle’s comments. His voice volume increases and decreases too much. Joe’s voice is pretty much consistent throughout but Kyle‘s voice is so low at times I can’t hear him, can we please do something about this? Once again, completely love the show. Thanks, Tom Lifelong Diehard Dolphins Fan!!! Not sorry!

Kyle needs to grow up

Trying to listen to an episode and Kyle’s lack of professionalism, again, by interrupting his co-hosts with cart drops makes this impossible to continue with Kyle, you’re not nearly asfunny as you think you are. You’re petty and disrespectful

Used to be good

To be fair, I should’ve rated this a couple years back when they were very good. This used to be a 5 star show. Joe and Kyle really do know football and had a great podcast that was very informative. Now, it’s like a bad version of a stupid morning radio show with dumb humor, off football topics, and lame sound effects. Very disappointing guys. You are better than this.

Terrible

Thought I’d give a new show a try and what a disappointment. The episode is ‘breaking down the latest top 100’. So what do they do? Spend more than 10 minutes talking about friggin SpongeBob. Then 5-10 more minutes of exposition into their process mixed with dead air. Then they mention a couple of risers and fallers before diving back into SpongeBob. It honestly sounded like 3 stoners in their garage… “8 of my top 40 weren’t there before senior bowl, so that’s one out of… uh… deep… (dead air)… 8??? Get a host who isn’t on drugs and can guide this show. Literally the least entertaining or helpful thing I’ve listened to in years.

Love you guys, improve audio match

Hey everyone. Love this podcast, I’d recommend it to any NFL fans. Great combination of knowledge/in the weeds with fun, hot takes. Note for TDN team, sometimes Kyle is louder than the rest from a mic perspective and lessens the listening experience. I still finish the episode because it’s great content but figured I’d provide the feedback.

Stadium food tier list item

The bag of Fritos item sounds like a walking taco, very underrated concessions item. Bag of Fritos, load it up with taco meat, cheese, jalapeños, any taco toppings you’d like really. Additionally, it diminishes the threat of mess making that comes along with standard tacos. Would highly recommend should you come across an opportunity to try a walking taco

Love the changes!

Absolutely love the format changes. The Joe Burrow deep dive was really interesting and happy to hear Sieler get some respect. I was critical of the show a few months ago for the increased ads without more content, but couldn’t be happier with the new direction.

Hey guys. I want to start out by saying I love the pod, have been listening for years, and am a TDN premium member. I greatly appreciate the year round content. As an Eagles fan I have one small request. I am very happy that you guys recognize how good Dallas Goedert is, but I humbly ask Kyle to correct his pronunciation. Hey Gents! You guys rock, I’m looking for a take from all 3 of you on the following: The AFC playoff race will be tight once again this year, each game will be vital. For the upcoming season (not beyond), which of these shortcomings is the biggest oversight heading into training camp: 1) Baltimore’s WR room 2) Cleveland’s QB situation 3) Miami’s RT debacle Other? As a dolphins fan I can’t help but stare in disbelief that the very position that can easily be blamed for missing the playoffs last year is still the biggest question mark. (The matador is gone, but replaced by a camp competition between underperforming players) Thanks for your work! Mario

Again, they show a huge lack of knowledge in the nfl. They just talked about trey lance and said their main outside zone back is Jeff Wilson. Just say you don’t watch nfl. It’s pretty bad you don’t even know the starting running back on one the teams that went to the nfc championship.

Good info, but

Joe and Kyle are extremely knowledgeable and have excellent insight on the NFL Draft. However, the production quality and oftentimes background interference is distracting. A little more seriousness surrounding the final product would make this THE draft podcast to listen to. But the constant coughs not taken out, terrible mic quality, and recording shows next to active highways make this a difficult listen.

Very Good, but……… !

Good pod, good knowledge, and entertaining….. for the most part. Mr Crabbs, for the love of God(!!!!), it IS NOT funny or amusing or cute or entertaining or any of that stuff when you insist upon rudely repeating/ interrupting/ smothering Joe’s sentences. Enough man! You’re absolutely ruining our listening experience. We ALL have ADHD these days, but that’s not an excuse for acting the fool. That factor is really annoying to me, but does not change the fact that this is an excellent show! (Except for that one massive detail) Keep it up y’all!!!

Love the show! When are you guys going to get back to the draft though? Break down top 5 guys of each position? Possibly gm tendencies of drafting? Just feels like you guys have gone away from the draft. Still love the show but bring back the draft in Draft dudes

Draft focus

When they are talking about the draft and the players in it, they are so good. But there are too many episodes that aren’t draft-centric. Leave the other NFL talk to other podcasts and focus on the draft
