S_Squared22Creativity discussed CreativelyI love this podcast! Charles brings such a fresh approach to these conversations. Long before he recaps his 3 takeaways, I always find that I learn so much from listening to the speaker, but also by listening to how he engages them in conversation. Charles is remarkably disarming, so these heavy hitters, who are well-prepped for media, are honest and authentic, and I sometimes wonder if they’re letting their guard down just a little bit without realizing it. "Creative leadership" is such an oft-used term these days, that there is no clear definition for it. Charles illuminates various definitions by having insightful conversations and gleaning perspectives from some of today’s great creative leaders.

matttundiThe CiceroneCharles gives his guests a descriptive title to summarize their distinction (no easy feat with such an accomplished group). For Charles Day I'd offer him the label of The Cicerone - an expert guide for those of us seeking depth and heart around creativity. It's not a podcast to play in the background. You'll want to pay attention. It is worth it.

blackbirdiesalways informative, amazing hostI love listening to Charles because not only does he host great people on his show, he also has a special knack for drawing out useful info that expresses the uniqueness of each guest and what they bring to the table

Kira from askyourfriendkiraInspiring!Charles Day has the most interesting guests and really takes the time so we hear all kinds of details and ideas that round out the interview. The focus on creativity makes every guest inspire something in some part of life.

Laurin SYDAlways learn something IMPORTANT from FearlessThe thing about Oprah's show, was even if you were not that interested in the particular daily guest, you still managed to learn something that mattered. Fearless does the same for me. Even if a weekly guest is not on my bucket list... Charles Day & co. makes it so interesting and informative in spite of myself. Each week, I walk away with nuggets that stick and incites that really matter. Thank YOU!! Looking so forward to next week as your taste and queations are impeccable.

Tripp DurantInspiringI'm so glad a friend of mine introduced me to this. So much of our valuable time is spent heads down in our laptops or smartphones. It's quite inspiring to hear so many different thought leaders say in their own words how creativity, leadership and a personal passion has fueled their work or companies. I'm only about six episodes in but really enjoyed the one with Heidi Hackemer as well as the one with Barry Day.

TRBell3Witty and Enlightening“Fearless” shines a light into the most powerful, magical and enigmatic of black boxes—creativity. It has as its light source creative leaders from varied walks of life who have mastered and are passionate about the power of creativity. What it reveals is enlightening and colorful, giving “Fearless” the feel of eavesdropping on an after-dinner conversation with a craftsman sharing trade secrets. The host’s wit and percipient questions give it that natural feel but also deftly elicit the insights, candid thought and behind-the scenes anecdotes that make “Fearless” both instructive and entertaining.

InternetAgeInsightful leadership lessonsGreat content! Fearless is featuring some of the most creative minds in modern business today and, along with it, powerful insights.
-
HowardsdriverMake, then take the timeGreat guests and great questions with the natural result being fascinating to hear. The fundamental lesson: everyone has a story and can share wisdom when you ask the right questions. Take Umber Ahmad, founder and CEO of Mah ze Dahr Bakery, trained violinist, one time MIT student, physicist, scientist, investment banker, pilot and baker. Listen to Charles interview Umber and you will be amazed at the relationship between good food and the people you love. And the story turns hysterically funny when Ms Ahmad describes the process of renting a brothel in NYC (just listen!). Binge to be sure you give Barry Day the hospitality of your mind and thoughts. And laugh even more with Joanna Coles, whose thoughts on leadership should be heard by everyone in management (should there be any confusion on the difference).
