Aidyl SInsightful, meaningful travel conversationsI discovered this podcast after reading Rolf’s book (The Vagabond's Way: 366 Meditations on Wanderlust, Discovery, and the Art of Travel) — which I highly recommend. This podcast is a great resource to dive deeper into interesting and important travel topics. Rolf is a great interviewer who always asks insightful questions. Each episode offers greater nuance into the complex world of travel, which I greatly appreciate as a passionate traveler myself. - gottacaseofwanderlust podcast :)

IlikewaterbottlesGreat podcast and nuanced conversationsRolf has a pleasant Kansas twang to his voice, and his conversations range from travel stories, musings, tips, to non-travel topics that push a more nuanced view of the world. Highly recommend! Also, highly recommended to read his book Vagabonding.

berlaewhsdahicWhat has happened to you? This used to be a wonderful pod, full of the wonder, beauty and adventure of travel. Now you just slog your latest book with tired diatribes against people who aren’t privileged enough to travel the way you do. Hope you get back to relevance

AppertapperMost Inspirational PodcastI cannot imagine a greater podcast! Rolf is a fantastic, interesting and respectful host who cultivates enriching conversation and story again and again. I drove through Kansas not long ago and I was reminded of all that Rolf has bestowed upon me. Thank you Rolf.

TmenzoUnique contentTo me, this podcast is finally hitting its stride. It seems like it took a little while for Rolf to get comfortable with this medium and find what works best, but now I think this show fills a void in the podcast universe without limiting itself to a niche. He has figured out how to deliver new, interesting ideas on travel while also being able to keep it fresh with some interesting/relevant topics. Keep up the good work Rolf, and everyone go buy Vagabonding.

charles assad , charlitooo1PhenomenalI loved vagabonding and this podcast is like a dream come true. Almost like a new travel book every week. Ive listened to 30 episodes maybe and my fav would be “Best Hostel In the World” and the 2 episodes with Nomadic Matt. God I love it. Thanks For Creating!

Tight Rope WalkerSo good.Rolf's most recent episode with Tod Goldberg is a wonderfully entertaining romp down memory lane for those of us who recall the relative scarcity of NFL information and memorabilia pre-Internet age. Thank you, Rolf and Tod, for setting this year's Super Bowl in an interesting social-historical context!

SuiytiibvgfhjjGreat travel podcastLess about what to see when traveling and more about how to travel. Really interesting and thought provoking.

Pepe LeDouxVery enjoyableI’m glad the message was received to have more shows around travel experiences. I gave it the 5 stars for the thread with Ari and the cliffhanger for this new season with the details of your experience with psychedelics teased at the end of last season.

Justsomedude321Humorous and HelpfulI discovered this podcast after finishing up Rolf's excellent book Vagabonding, and it was an immediate hit with me. It would have been easy for him to do a 100% travel based podcast, but he subverts this expectation with as wide a range of guests and topics as I've seen. For any aspiring creative out there it's pure gold, as he has painters, writers galore, and many more of this type who give valuable and varied insight. All the interviews are pretty lighthearted in nature, but as the name suggest, they meander into some unique and unexpected places. I thoroughourly enjoyed this podcast while traveling myself, and it's probably my most listened to podcast. Give it a go, and enjoy the ride!
