Such great, real, raw and needed information!
I am three babies in and will still refer back to episodes from even season 1! The content of this podcast is so helpful and straight forward. And relatable. It helped me with so many decisions like sleep training and breastfeeding. Pregnancy, pregnancy loss, fertility, parenting.. it’s all so unapologetic and raw and this podcast captures it in every light.

    The BEST!
Katie Lowe’s is a girls, girl. I not only love this podcast and have loved her for many years but hearing her on so many other podcasts this week has just confirmed my love even more. She can relate to all us moms, no matter what birth you had, if you breastfeed or not, stay home or work, etc. As much as I LOVE Kelly Ripa, I would be okay if she one day replaced her on Live. 😉 Thank you for being so relatable and vulnerable. You truly are helping us all.

    Love this show!
I have listened to the Breastfeeding episode with Kristen Bell multiple times. I love all of the raw truths and stories told. It’s all the things that no one tells you!

    Awesome podcast!
Katie, host of the Katie's Crib podcast, highlights all aspects of parenting, family and more in this can’t miss podcast! The host and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!

Foul language and lack of composure
The topics and guests are interesting but when you use foul language it undermines the interview. Also it is one thing to try to be relatable to your guest and your listeners but please try to still be conscious of your role as guiding and giving structure to the interview. You want to be professional and serious yet personable, a hard balance to strike but important.

    Please stop interrupting the guests
It’s hard to pay attention when two people are trying to talk at once. It’s a way easier listen when I can listen to the guest fully explain their experience and go through their own process without being cut off.

    Please fix the audio
Please please fix the audio!! The gender episode was great but hard to listen to. Katie’s audio was too low and the guests was too high.

    So real!
As a mama of 2, I have so appreciated the realness of this podcast. It’s been informative but also helping me feel not so f*ing crazy amidst all the ups and downs of motherhood.

As a mom to be, I love this podcast.
This podcast makes motherhood very real and has helped me prepared for the unknown. It has taught me, just like no kid life I currently live, mom life is full of ups and downs and that’s part of what makes it great. I know it won’t be easy but at least I know not to feel guilty when it hard and that it’s all worth it no matter how tricky the journey. So happy to hear real moms talk about real things instead of just the magic.

    Bad audio
This most recent episode about twins was my last straw with this podcast. The audio is SO BAD. I had my volume turned all the way up and could barely hear anything. I liked it when I first discovered this podcast this past summer but I just can’t do it anymore. Others have mentioned that Katie interrupts her guests so much and I totally agree. I’ll be unsubscribing.

    Let the guests talk
I recently discovered this podcast. It touches several subjects I’m interested in. My big issue is that Katie constantly interrupts her guests, I just wish she could give them the opportunity to talk, to let the conversation flow without listening to her experiences all the time. I recommend it anyways

I’m just tired of the ads on every other pod I listen too. “My baby looked like her father when she was first born then suddenly she started looking like me. I was like ‘oh no no no that is so awkward’ oooooooooooh that’s so interesting” I’ve memorized the ad that’s how bad it is. I understand getting yourself out there but why not make a variety of ads. Just makes me dislike this pod even before I listen Also I hear she interrupts her guests. Nothing worse then a interviewer who interrupts

    Good for new moms
The content is very good, but I felt that Katie doesn’t let the guests complete their thoughts and jumps in to complete it for them either by telling her experience or her thoughts. However, the content is really good and helpful for new moms.

Hey - As an adopted person, I have some thoughts on the “Adoption Awareness Month” ad that I hear being played in breaks on other shows. If you are going to become a parent, you really REALLY don’t get to have expectations about what your child is going to be like. They might have a different personality, a different gender, a differently abled body, a differently functioning mind, a different array of interests and proficiencies than you’re dreaming of. You need to have an open mind for your child’s sake. If having a child who looks different from you “doesn’t work for you”, you are already imposing a heap of impossible expectations on any child you may have. This ad blows my mind every time I hear it. Please find another clip - or revisit this conversation.

    Hard to listen
I was so excited about Gabby Union being n the podcast but you would not let her talk without interrupting ! I was so frustrated trying to hear her out.. I wish I could have heard more of her and less of you .
  • lame show lame dudes
    This is a joke, right
    Foh
  • Hammer jammer.
    Blah blah blah
Just an assumption of deep respect for endless thought garbage. “Um, like um. Like. Wow. Like Um like. Like that’s like a like like. Like very very like um” Omg 😱 I have never heard such terrible dialogue in my life. In any given 2 minute segment I like heard like the word like literally 45 to like 55 times. It’s like the most like dumb podcast I’ve ever heard of. Please do not listen to Katie if you have any respect for like raising a child.

Disgusting ad makes me want to throw up
Okay I’m not a listener of this podcast, but your ad on other podcasts is so triggering. You really need to put the part about sucking the blockage out of the breast in the ad?? If I was listening to the podcast and looking for that content I wouldn’t mind but when I’m trying to listen to another podcast, that’s a horrible way to advertise for this podcast. It makes it seem disgusting and gaggy and it’s annoying to hear that in the middle of a podcast that I’m listening to to relax. Please consider having a less graphic ad and save the graphic content for the listeners who listen to the podcast.

    Exciting, fun and fabulous podcast!
I am loving this podcast! Katie Wells packs every episode with tons of amazing content, guests, and interviews that will motivate, uplift and inspire you. I highly recommend!

    Overall enjoyable
There are two simple areas of improvement to make this a 5⭐️ podcast: allow the guests to speak more (they’re great and I want to hear their stories!) and improve the sound quality. I often listen as I work outdoors and the poor sound quality makes it hard to hear even with my volume all the way up. Overall, I enjoy the show and will continue to listen.
  • Where are you Arienette?
    Lovely but Interrupting
I really enjoy this podcast and how passionate the host is. I think she brings a lot of joy, curiosity and energy to the show and is a natural. One piece of feedback is to possibly allow for more time for the guests to speak, I often cringe when the host interrupts the guest again and again. Otherwise I just adore and love this show. Thank you for creating this!

    Great content, bad audio control
I really enjoy this show. Katie has good guests with informative topics. The only reason I rated 3 instead of 5 stars is the bad producing that makes audio so wonky. Some episodes are low volume generally or bad quality. Sometimes Katie’s voice is normal but her guests speak or are recorded so low. So to fix I put the volume up way high to hear but then when Katie shouts it nearly blows my car speakers. Please fix it guys, I’d love to enjoy without straining or injuring my ears.

Obsessed with this mom podcast! I love the realness, sarcasm, but true concern for kids development. It’s such good info!!

Love it but Katie please stop interrupting guests
I love everything about the podcast but every sine episode, Katie interrupts her guest and their stories get left behind.

    So appreciate
I’ve just recently started listening to Katie’s Crib and I’ve been loving it! Every topic she chooses and guest she brings on is spot on and so informational. The only downside: I feel that Katie interrupts the speaker quite a bit - sometimes just to agree or make a quick comment, but frequently to change the course of the conversation and doesn’t let the speaker finish.

    Frustrating
I love the podcast & all of the information given is super helpful but I wish Katie would stop talking over her guests!!!! She asks them a question & they can’t fully answer because she continuously talks over them.

Must listen for moms and moms-to-be
I adore this podcast and Katie picks the best range of topics. Her episode on IVF was so impactful and encouraging. Can’t wait for new episodes!

    Many Guest Interruptions
My biggest pet peeve with a podcast host is their inability to allow their guests to finish telling their stories. I’m listening to the Busy Philipps interview and so many stories were left unfinished because the host derailed it with unnecessary interjections. It’s frustrating.
  • ycmamaof2
    Too many interruptions.
I enjoy the topics and guests, and I'm sure I will listen to more episodes; however, like a few others here, I get annoyed by the interruptions.

    We want more!!
I’ve binged all these episodes and I’m obsessed! First time mom due this summer! So much fun listening and Katie always has great guests! Favor episodes are Kristin bell, hubby Adam, pelvic floor expert, and building your village.

    Interruptions
I really enjoy this show, however, she talks over her guests a lot which is REALLY annoying. Please stop!

    Great but too much cursing!
Katie has great guests and I really like the vibe of this podcast in so many ways. However, the cursing is way over the top and takes away from the podcasts. I don’t mind when people curse but it’s overuse makes it feel like some kind of gimmick that Katie uses to seem relatable. Cut out half of the F-words and it’ll be great!!

Thank you so much for being real! I don’t have a tribe but when I listen to your podcast I instantly feel like I do!

    Not a mom
I am not a mom just yet but I love the topics and how the topic are discuss in a panel or just between 2. Love it and love Katie 🤗
  • HopeSchiebs
Enjoy the topics however not that relatable
I enjoy the topics and conversation, however, all of the guests have night nurses and nannies helping them around the clock. I really don’t want to hear how tired they are and crazy their life is when they have SO MUCH HELP. They have NO IDEA how tired and crazy life is when you have NO HELP. It’s just not relatable for the normal full time working moms who do everything for themselves.
  • NYoung14
    RELATABLE AF
If you need to know you’re not alone, listen to this podcast. Any episode. Even if the topic is not something I’m super interested in, there are nuggets of info and reality that just help me get through the day. Parenting tips and advice galore in a real and relatable way.

    Reality check!
Loving every episode! Currently on a binge, just discovered you had a podcast!!!! How did I not know this!! You are amazing!!! Some of the episodes have been a mommy reality check for me! It’s ok to not feel like I should have it all figured it out. I found your podcast at a time in my mommy life that needed to hear each and everyone one of your guest and their parenting advice, tricks, fails and successes! Thank you!

    Interrupting guests
I love the show and there are so many interesting guests. There’s one piece of feedback I have - Please stop interrupting the guests. There’s so many details that get lost because we’re sidetracked to the next topic or anecdote before completing the current piece of the conversation. And don’t get me wrong- the next piece of the conversation is also interesting! There are just some real cliff hangers we’re left with for details we don’t return to. Overall I love the show and would recommend! Keep it up!

    Empathetic content. LOTS of cursing!!!
Really great content that helps Moms realize they don’t have to be perfect and that honestly and vulnerably shares the journey of motherhood. There’s lots of unnecessary cursing which is hard to deal with if you don’t curse or like cursing. Do NOT listen to it around kids!

    Best. Podcast. Ever.
I’m a HUGE Scandal fan & love the cast. I always felt like I was most like Quin & when I saw Katie had started this podcast I had just given birth. This podcast has been like my village. I have learned so much & been given such amazing resources for being able to bring my Mama game to another level! Thank you Katie for using your platform to bring this to Mama’s everywhere! 💜

    Great topics, too much cursing.
I’ve really enjoyed all of the topics and guest! My only wish is for less of the F word. I can do some cursing but the amount of f bombs seems like a lot.

    Best podcast for new moms
I found this podcast right when I had my first baby and fell in love with it. I can relate to every single episode and Katie brings on such knowledgeable and relatable guests. I like how she relates what the topic is to her own experiences. I feel like I am listening to one of my friends. I find myself impatiently waiting for new episodes! This was a much needed addition to the podcast world! Thank you Katie!

    Great Podcast!
I love this podcast! It’s so entertaining and informative and real! I’m not a mom, nor do I plan to be for at least 5-6 more years, but I am about to be a nanny and listening to this is great! I would love to listen to an interview with Caterina Scorsone and her experiences as a mother, especially as a mother of a child who is differently abled!
  • THIS IS ....
Stop interrupting and this would be 5 stars!
    PLEASE STOP INTERRUPTING YOUR GUESTS!

Great content - sound needs work
I enjoy the content of this podcast. It’s nice to hear from other moms as well as specialists as I start this motherhood journey. The only thing I don’t like is the sound quality. I have to adjust my volume multiple times during an episode. Sometimes one guest will be very hard to hear but if I turn it too loud the other guest is yelling at me. I hope you work out some sound consistency.
  • AG_2018
I wish Katie would stop interrupting her guests
I really love the topics that are discussed in this podcast and all the guests that have been on but I wish Katie would let her guests finish a sentence before interrupting them. It breaks the flow of what the guests have to say and also for the listeners

Love your podcast about pelvic floor physical therapy
Hi Katie! I loved your podcast about the pelvic floor, interviewing Stephanie Pendergast. I am glad you are advertising how important postpartum recovery is. I am a recent mom (4 months postpartum) and I am actually a pelvic floor physical therapist myself, and work for one of the largest pelvic floor only physical therapy clinics in the country, Sullivan Physical Therapy in Austin, TX. I co-host a podcast called PT Below The Waist. We discuss how Pelvic floor physical therapy can help treat bladder, bowel, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, and pregnancy and postpartum issues. My co-host and I also teach pelvic floor continuing education classes throughout the country. If you are interested in us coming on your podcast to learn more about pelvic floor conditions and PT, we would love to do so. If you are interested in coming onto our podcast, we would LOVE to interview and hear your views on postpartum care and new outlook on how important it is to take care of your pelvic floor, we would LOVE to have you. You can reach out to us on our Facebook page PT Below The Waist. Check out our podcast if you get a chance! We’ll be listening to yours! Thanks for getting the word out there about post partum journey!
