I have recently started watching this podcast and am currently in Season 2. I am a long time Degrassi fan and have watched the series in its entirety starting with Degrassi Junior High, and LOVE hearing Pat and Rachel’s commentary. Please keep it up you guys!

This is a top podcast of all time for me. Pat and Rachel are both wonderful and wonderfully funny, and they have great chemistry as funny pals talking aboot everyone’s favorite teen soap opera.

I love this podcast! As a huge Degrassi fan, it’s so much fun to hear them break down each episode, but honestly, it’s the hosts’ banter that keeps me coming back. Their conversations feel so natural and genuinely funny, and the side tangents are some of the best parts. It’s like hanging out with friends who love the show just as much as you do. If you’re a Degrassi fan (or just love a good laugh), this podcast is a must-listen!

I discovered this podcast about two months ago and the way I have been binging it is insane. There are so many phrases that I feel like are now inside jokes between myself & the pod and I laugh even when I think about it and I'm not even listening to it. My father just passed away yesterday and even while that whole ordeal was going on, I was able to turn this podcast on and find some comic relief. You guys even brought up the Sopranos on one particular episode and it was on a day before I went to visit my dad and that has always been his favorite show. Absolutely love this podcast! I have had so much fun binging episodes alongside my millionth re-watch. I especially appreciate that the hosts are my age and can discuss the topics in a fun, frank, and “adult” way. Pat and Rachel make me laugh each and every listen and I hope they continue through Next Class, and the original High/Jr. High! I’m only through S5 currently, but my favorite moment is still the mention of Jeff Isaac’s big gulp soda from episode 1. I laugh-cried so hard 😂 Keep up the great work!

*Mr. Del Rossi voice* Ohhhh…it’s so good to have you in the room! Words cannot express how much I love this podcast. I like to listen to podcasts for all my shows and stumbled across this one while doing a Degrassi rewatch. It’s a perfect fix for when you’ve run out of people to talk about Degrassi with. I recently started a new job and didn’t have much to do at work for the first few weeks, so I binged most of the podcast during that time. Pat and Rachel are the best and I often find myself cracking up at their jokes and bits, especially Pat’s characters and the Mr. Del Rossi segment. The lore runs deep, from Jeff Isaacs to Jimmy’s cold house to Clare Grimes Beech, and throughout the podcast they talk about everything from Twilight to Bob Hoskins. Do yourself a favor and listen to this podcast. You won’t regret it! I’m in the process of listening to all the episodes for a second time.

I’m a big Degrassi fan and like hearing Pat & Rach’s audio commentary 😂 the commentary is pizza man😂 Jokes.grilled cheese. They go on long tangents sometimes, which gets annoying, but I like their review repertoire… especially the part of Most Valuable Degrassian.

I searched for a Degrassi podcast and found this one so I decided to give it a try. These 2 are really funny and know a lot about the show (except for some things they totally got wrong or just made assumptions) but I couldn’t take them anymore after the 4th episode. They get political when they don’t have to be, they’re constantly going on tangents especially about other entertainment that has nothing to do with the show, and they keep criticizing the show over every little thing!

I have been playing catch-up with this podcast from the beginning episodes to current episodes, and I can easily say this is the only podcast I end up laughing out loud at while I’m working at times. Pat and Rachel seem like cool people who I (sometimes) agree with on music and movie/TV preferences, obviously Degrassi being one of them. I love listening to them talk about the episodes and music and current events and just really enjoy the bits!

I’ve spent the whole of 2023 catching up from episode one to the current. I had been waiting to write a review until I was, but I knew from day one that it’d be 5 stars. I listened as they met the OG cast, Matty O, Mr. Delrossi, Darcy Grimes-Beech, AnyaBananya, ELIIII(growl voice), and so many others, as well as the introduction of Covid into our lives, Pat’s new baby, Rachel’s stories about old enemies and friends, and just hearing how their lives changed over the years. I spent a better part of the year rewatching the show with my 2 sons, a show I watched in it’s entirety since it began airing with the introduction of Toby’s dad and his big gulp stealing the show from Emma’s internet creep storyline. Finding the podcast made me feel like I had adult friends that I could laugh with about all the absurdity. I am a bit younger than Pat and Rachel, which made the music segments more of a new exploration into bands and artists vs the nostalgia they felt discussing them, but that didn’t ruin any of the fun listening. I do have to say though, I would suggest pausing on occasion if you plan on being around unsuspecting listeners. Having the podcast loudly playing through my speakers led to a few disturbed glances from drive thru workers and a coworker here and there, was more common than I’ll admit. I swear it’s like Pat knew exactly when to make an inappropriate joke or comment to embarrass me. Anyways, long review short, this podcast will be enjoyed by adult listeners of the great show Degrassi, especially if you love colorful humor, music deep dives, and finding friendship in a silent way with the two wonderful hosts. Thank you for a weird year of playing catch up and I can’t wait to stay tuned for the rest.

A great podcast for Degrassi and general pop culture enjoyment!

This podcast brings together two of my loves Degrassi and music. In my search for a Degrassi rewatch podcast Pat and Rachel deliver a hilariously and fun time. Thank you for being the highlight of my week.

I’ve been binge listening to this podcast. I’m on season 4 right now… I’ve always watched degrassi & remember watching the episodes as they aired on TV. I had all the box DVD sets & watched them on a loop before binge watching was cool 😂 Listening to this podcast as I rewatch (again) has been so fun!

I recently started a Degrassi binge (not my first rewatch, I’ve lost count at this point) and was a few seasons in when I finally thought to look up a Degrassi podcast. The only negative thing to this podcast is that I didn’t discover it when I started my rewatch. I love Pat and Rachel’s chemistry! As a 30- something millennial who loves Degrassi, I feel so seen by this podcast.

I just found this podcast & the amount of absolutely nothing I got done today is off the charts. Love. It. I’m rewatching & the thoughts you two have are so spot on.

The sheer showmanship of this podcast makes it the best show about a teenage drama EVER. Rachel always has such interesting stories and Pat is such a goof with hilarious bits that make conversations about even the darkest Degrassi episodes feel lighthearted. Between the two of them they have so much knowledge about pop culture and music. I’ve found a small community in the FB group with my fellow DEEEMP heads and I look forward to watching each episode because Pat and Rachel always point out some hilarious line or reference I’d missed before.

A little over 2 months ago I started the Everybody wants something podcast which is also a Degrassi podcast, however I wanted to keep watching while they took a short hiatus over the summer and I just wanted to keep getting some sweet sweet reviews from some cool peeps while I rewatch the show!! So that when I found you guys!! I started on season 5 episode 1 and now I’m to the last few episodes of season 7. It’s weird, I’m kind of mourning the end to the original grade 8’s, especially Jimmy Drake. I really wish we could have seen his story resolved along with everyone else, either in the Hollywood or Manhattan specials buuuuut considering what they did to Paige, maybe it’s good that the last thing we saw was him wanting to propose to Trina and our minds can take it from there!! I’m fast listening while I weed eat so I’ll honestly probably be with you guys in the present while you break down season 10 and on 🥰 PS Pat, I’ve got to know, what do you think about the whole CM Punk and The elite dram happening? I like this podcast. Degrassi was my FAVORITE show when I was a teenager so it’s good to listen and reminisce the show with Pat and Rachel. I will say, I like Pat’s jokes and singing and Rachel logician reasoning when they are pertaining to the episodes. For now, I’m listening to season 2 which they recorded in 2018 so I’m hoping the 15+ minute tangents improve and they talk about more of the episodes. The beginning is why I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 but overall, it’s a solid podcast. Edit: changing my rating to 5 stars. Thanks for including the time stamps!! You guys are great! I’m all caught up on the podcast now.

I finally have an iPhone so I can review! Pat and Rachel were my first ever podcast back in November 2020. We always have so much fun in the Facebook group and patreon! Fridays are my favorite days because of new episodes☺️

I started listening about one year ago and have fully caught up to current episodes. Pat and Rach are perfection- I have found myself using some pod sayings in everyday convo which is how much they can get in my head! Love the stories and banter!

As a LONG, LONG time Degrassi fan (I use to watch "Kids of Degrassi" back in the 80s), I have been really enjoying this podcast! The conversation is awesome- doesnt feel forced, and doesnt get to In Your Face with what is wrong it everything. (Different times requires adjustment of views). I often find myself laughing outloud at some of the thing that are spontaneously discussed - helps make my work day a bit easier. (Good thing I work from home - otherwise, the explanation of why I am laughing might get me in HR). Keep up the good work!!

This duo is perfect to recap this silly Canadian teen drama that sometimes goes there. Going back in time to listen to Pat and Rachel recap early ‘00s episodes of Degrassi in 2018 has been an experience! I’m excited to continue my binge of this fun podcast.

I love this podcast. I fell in love with Degrassi in 2010 and Pat and Rach in 2020. They’re witty, vocally talented, and beautiful. Even if you don’t like Degrassi, you’ll love this podcast.

I LOVE Pat and Rachel. Their chemistry is *pizza man* PERFECT, the care so much about the things that they care about (like music and Bob Hoskins), and they're just hilarious. I've listened to other Degrassi podcasts, but nothing compares to DEEEMP. I love the tangents, I love the running jokes, and I love the community. From the very first episode, I knew that this was the podcast for me -- and that is not something that happens very often.

You guys took my favorite show to watch when I’m feeling down and added some nice flair to it with enjoyable rants about music and random babble that just tickles my sense of humor. You guys somehow get me. Love this show. Thank you

Hmmm I love degrassi but I feel as if you should know more about your subject before trying to make a podcast on it I heard other podcasts and all of them seems to have the problem or not knowing much about it… this is one of the best ones I found but they get off subject a lot talking about other shows and things… if they stayed on topic this podcast would actually be great !

So I found this podcast completely by accident, and I love it so much after just 6 episodes! I’ve been a Degrassi fan for around 15 years, and I absolutely love hearing you guys talk about a show that meant so much to me growing up! I’m glad to see other adults able to enjoy a show geared towards teenagers and it just proves Degrassi is timeless!

I’ve started a bunch of Degrassi podcasts but this is the only one I’ve subscribed too. Pat and Rach are great and make me feel like I’m listening with old friends. They’re hilarious, and I would listen to them even if I moved to the Yukon.

No need to look elsewhere. Pat and Rach bring the lolz week after week. They’ve cultivated a wonderful community of fans who you’d be lucky to hang with(virtually of course).

This is by far my favorite Degrassi podcast and maybe my favorite overall! Pat and Rachel are hilarious and have great friend chemistry. This isn’t necessarily the podcast for you if you need the hosts to be absolute experts on the subject matter. However, I think the hosts have the perfect approach for reviewing something like Degrassi which is beloved and means a lot to us fans but is also admittedly very cringeworthy at times and ripe to be made fun of. It’s tricky to not veer into either being too serious about what is, at the end of the day, an often poorly written Canadian teen melodrama, or too mocking to the point I get the sense that you hate having to watch the show for the podcast but Pat and Rachel strike the right balance! Thanks for providing some entertainment during the pandemic.

This is my first podcast and I love it! I watched Degrassi not when it was actually on, I weirdly binged it when I was in the 20s. I am now rewatching it with my 13 year old daughter and she loves it as much as me. Oddly enough I was introduced to Degressi when we had to watch degrassi junior high in middle school during health class. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I recently went back and watched degrassi junior high and degressi high... I 💜 Wheels!! I was recently laid off and now I’m home with my kids all day 🥴. This podcast is great! And definitely helps me from losing my whole mind! Thanks guys!!!

Great content but the bits go one for way too long. As a new listener it’s not endearing enough for me to suffer through. If there were time stamps I think I’d enjoy it a lot more. ÉDIT: honestly they grew on me! What can I say?
