Hey guys keep up the great podcast love the comity as well as knowledge. I have a question in regards to EHD I recently found a young buck dead in a lake on one of my hunting properties in southern Virginia I’ve heard that EHD mostly affects older deer is that true and how often is there dead deer In water that is not a result of EHD ? What’s the chance it’s a random thing and not EHD ? Just curious on y’all’s thoughts

Hey guys! Love the podcast with the equal amounts of information and comedic relief. At the end of August my wife and I will be acquiring 40 acres. It’s mostly wooded but does have two ponds and a 3-5 acre field that is currently in CRP. Do you think for this deer season would it be best to leave as is, or try and put in a fall food plot? I love this podcast, especially because there’s so much focus on the State of Missouri, where I hunt 90% of the time. The guys impart their incredible knowledge upon us and they do so with plenty of humor. Keep up the good work! If you plan to put out another turkey episode, can you please address the challenge when turkeys aren’t talking at all? In Southwest Missouri, I never hear them calling or yelping once the season starts. Before the season, they tend to be very vocal. Thanks!

I’ve seen the podcasts floating around on socials for a while, I’ve never been a podcast fan but decided to listen to one, long story short I’ve now burned through almost 300 podcasts, I’ve learned that Matt can’t read, Tim loves to swing in his saddle, and Zebco reels are great! Hello Mr Drury. I’m watching you’re podcast on YouTube. I’m watching the conversation you’re having with a lady in North Carolina. We run dogs here in Florida. I just attended a dog hunters meeting and bbq. There were around 800 hunters there young and old. This is a tradition that I’ve done my whole life. I still hunt and have for years. But it’s getting tougher here. People are wanting to stop the tradition. We go great lengths to control hounds and respect all boundaries. We are all hunters whether running hounds or sitting in a swamp patiently waiting. I’ve raised my children in the hunting world. I would love to chat with you about this. And we would love to have y’all attend a hunt with us. Thank you for all you do for the hunting world. Thanks Kenny hunt.

Been watching the YouTube channel for years, been listening to the podcast for only a few months and it’s been great. Informative, funny, and good quality all around. Funny, yet informative podcast to listen to while working ( I own a landscape company so I listen to a lot of podcasts.) there are some points that y’all use that I cannot transfer to the East Coast (NC) but there are a lot of things that I can transfer to my backpack of Whitetail knowledge. I just lost my only private piece, so I’m having to transfer to more public land so this year will be all new to me. Any input on finding properties to gain permission or public land tips and tricks? Deer, turkey, dove and waterfowl hunter🤙🏼 God Bless!

This is like sitting at deer camp and listening to your buddies stories. Matt and Tim joking around makes it easy listening while driving around.

This is… almost the best podcast that drury outdoors is affiliated with. 😅 All jokes aside keep up the good work you guys do a good job of entertaining while bringing in other people that have great insights on deer and deer hunting topics. You also are good sports about having tough seasons and being able to show you still have positive outlooks while being able to laugh it off. It is a great skill too be able to laugh tough seasons off and anyone being honest with themselves has had or will have a tough season at some point. Again keep up the good work!

What happens? Season updates, tips and tricks, breakdowns of tactics, stories of dangers and warnings for hunters, the good / bad / ugly of life as an outdoorsman, lots of laughs and jokes, including the best fart machine out there, gear reviews, and the list goes on. It all happens on 100% wild, and I appreciate Matt and Tim for making every Hunter of every walk of life feel right at home.

I thoroughly enjoy listening every week on my way to work. Not only is it a good time but also with information put out. I wouldn’t say much but it will get you by (sarcasm). Probably the single greatest thing technology has ever given the outdoor industry. Matt and Tim are a wealth of knowledge. I listen to an episode before all of my hunts and the deer basically just come give up. Pair what you learn from these guys on the podcast with DeerCast (download that if you haven’t) and your tag will be punched in no time. Keep ‘em coming fellas!

These two brothers remind me so much of the hunting adventures I’ve shared with my brother over the years till he lost his battle with cancer in June 2020. This year I was fortunate enough to take my best deer ever on one of our favorite hunting spots in Kansas and I have to believe he was there with me! Kansas giant 23 points green scored 194 4/8” I love this podcast!

I really enjoy this podcast. It has a good mix of learning new facts and goofing around. Listening to it definitely helps me get through the work week without being bored out of my mind lol. Matt and Tim you guys do a great job and keep up the good work👍🏻

Good show, but a great show when Mark or Terry jumps on as a guest. It’s the Drury’s, they’ve forgotten more about deer hunting than I’ll ever know. Matt and Tim are good for a few laughs and Matt’s ability to be as unlucky as I am when hunting makes me feel better

As a hunter from South-Central Iowa, you guys have a very relatable podcast. Each episode is packed with lots of great information and great guests! Appreciate that you don’t take yourselves too serious and provide much needed entertainment in the hunting podcast game. Don’t ever ditch the soundboard and it’s plethora of immature sound bites, it’s the glue that holds it all together.

Matt and Tim seem like they’re your buddies who you hunt and drink beer on the weekends with. Great topics that always provide great insight on the new age of hunting.

I’m not sure who wouldn’t like this podcast. Great information on deer, deer hunting, and habitat improvements. The best part is the joking and fun you guys have why recording. The best episodes are deff with mark and terry hahaha

I’d love to write a great review. I really would but I have been following the Drury’s since Madness 1. I would hate to guess how many hours upon days worth of videos I have watched learning from Mark and Terry. I owe much of the success I have from what I have learned from them. That being said I am left completely puzzled how Matt Drury can essentially be in the presence of 2 of the best and most efficient deer hunters this country has ever or will ever see and be clueless on some of the topics or talking points brought up by guests. The Drury name carries a ton of clout in the deer hunting community. I find it sad to say that unless Mark or Terry have the floor on the podcast I find it hard to listen. I’m 42 and if I want a laugh I’ll listen to a comedian. If I want great deer hunting advice I’d love to come hear and find it. Not that the Drury’s owe me anything. Not a dimes worth of knowledge they have learned the hard way and for that i am grateful to them. But I see a golden opportunity being missed hear. God bless.

Love the show, it’s always a good listen with great guests. Recently the discussions about Deer Cast have been extremely helpful. The virtual rain gauge feature is amazing. I have three actual rain gauges in a 30 mile triangle. I’ve compared the virtual to the actual on all three a couple times and they were within 0.03 inches! Keep up the great work!
