Walk-Ins Welcome with Bridget Phetasy

1,023

Bridget Phetasy admires grit and authenticity. On Walk-Ins Welcome, she talks about the beautiful failures and frightening successes of her own life and the lives of her guests. She doesn’t conduct interviews—she has conversations. Conversations with real people about the real struggle and will remind you that we can laugh in pain and cry in joy but there’s no greater mistake than hiding from it all. By embracing it all, and celebrating it with the stories she’ll bring listeners, she believes that our lowest moments can be the building blocks for our eventual fulfillment.

Yo Bridget, you should do a podcast with George Gammon and Quoth the Raven about the economy. The majority of people have no idea how it works. As an added bonus, these two are funny and hold no bias

Needed a realistic podcast for Normies
I’ve felt pretty politically homeless in my adulthood and while I’m still “homeless” I’m happy to hear I’m not the only one. Between this show and Dumpster Fire I feel more sane and in touch with other normies who just want to work and keep my money, go to uncensored comedy shows, have some freedom to raise my kids. ANYWAYS. Love this show.

Loved the beautiful conversation with Bridget and Tulsi. There are so many intelligent, strong, free thinking women in this country, we just don’t get to hear their voices often enough. Thank you both for sharing this♥️

Conversation with Tulsi:); Not sure why I followed your podcast, however!! So refreshing to listen to this. With faith and love we walk thru this world. I have long lists of people I pray for.... you are added to it! 🙏🏻 I am self-employed! Peace ☮️ 🕊️

Missing Maggie’s laughter n presence but still a great pod. Loved this pod great takes n observations. I understand it’s hard for a standup but Arielle needs to make the adjustment n work on having a conversation not just talking.

I really enjoyed this episode and it is crucial that we understand how children (and adults) have been betrayed by the mental health “professionals.” We are medicated ourselves to numbness. Thank You! I will read the book. And Bridget — Your journey is amazing. Much admiration for what you have over come.

    The BEST Podcast! 🫶
Treasure, being able to listen to Bridget, Maggie, and Jeren in the podcast Walk-Ins Welcome, factory, settings, and the dumpster fire show! 🎉 There are many days that I listen just to bring some joy, laughter, and cheerfulness into life! 🌅. Bridget, your podcasts are great and positive and elucidating, even if the topic is dark…. Please, please, please NEVER get rid of the giggles on the intro or outro! There is healing energy in the frequency of it. ❤️ The checkins are wonderful, because we can stay up-to-date with you without having to get on Twitter! ✔️ Understand completely about not sharing images of Matilda, but it would be so precious if there was just 1 image of her face please. 🥰 Also, please keep going! Never stop! We need you to remind us of all the people who are silent and sane! Thank you for all you do, Bridget! 🤗💞 P.S. Bridget in episode 199 during the check-in you’re talking about “imposter syndrome “ I believe it would be helpful if you would consider a couple of things about the services you provide. you’re a perfect investigative reporter. The world has lost nearly all of those voices since 2015/2016. You ask questions, because you’re curious; not because you’re trying to get a gotcha! You want to know about other people, places, processes, thoughts, etc. You truly are a sponge, soaking it all up all the time! you are trying to understand the world around you and the people in it! The wonderful byproduct of you sharing your conversations via Podcasts is that your audience benefits, directly and learns along with you. We can expand our scope of comprehension of the world and crazy things that are going on right now! Thank you for all you do! Please don’t ever stop sharing. We need your voice, because it helps us to maintain reality… Admire her grit, authenticity, and resilience! Awesome ❣️

She lied to our faces at least 3 times. Not small lies, but big story changing lies, designed to give cover to big tech, big media (NYT), and the facial recognition privacy stealers. She deserves to be called out on her obvious lies, because she's a big fat liar who lies glibly and with ease, but to her credit (stupidity?) she tilted her hand with a big ol' WINK and foreshadowed that she wouldn't be telling the truth fairly early on in the interview. To summarize: WHAT A F-ing LIAR!!!

I love this podcast. The guests and topics are excellent. Very intellectual yet down to earth.

A boomer who enjoys your podcast…
This podcast is well done, great guests, nice teasing out and perspectives on current issues. With that said, I’m asking all my favorite podcasters to please remind their guests that talking a million miles per hour is not enjoyable for listening, (ESPECIALLY if they have an accent), or perhaps suggest that all rapid fire speaking guests look into employment as auctioneers.

    Suggestion
I’m a fan of Bridget, Maggie, B’s husband Jeren, Walk-Ins Welcome and Dumpster Fire (which will hopefully return soon, although sadly, without Sammy, who will be missed). So, I say the following with great respect and affection… The only changes I’d make to WIW would be getting rid of the giggling in the opening, and, sorry, cutting the weekly check-in. The reason being, I like to share eps (of DF, too) — spreading the word! — with less tuned-in friends, and their attention is easier to get and hold when a pod gets right to and sticks with the nitty-gritty. The written episode descriptions could be more concise summaries, too. Again, love you people and the shows. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

    Always interesting
I’m genuinely surprised that every episode has something in it for me. Even when I initially think an episode might not be relevant to me, it is. This podcast opens minds to new ideas and perspectives, I appreciate it so much.

    Worst voice ever
Enjoy some of the point but literally worst voice I have ever heard… listening to her drone on in that god awful monotone is insufferable…
  • rdcu8mbdt
    Too much sophistry
Lee Camp and other guests argue based on their opinions rather than facts. Oftentimes I cut out early on these episodes with so much unsubstantiated b.s.

    Thank You
I loved your interview with Amanda Knox. Watching her story on fold in the media all those years ago was very heart wrenching, I cheered when she was cleared and able to go home with her family. I’m so glad to be able to her things from her perspective.

    The BEST
I look forward to hearing different points of view. This interview was eye opening. He sees everything as very black and white and would benefit from some nuance. I don’t think he realizes that he’s biased against Republicans after listening to him speaking on this podcast.

    Awesome interview with Adam Corolla
So glad you had Adam on. It was a hilarious and insightful interview. His line “All roads lead to narcissism” made my day.

    Right Wing Grifter
At first I didn’t begrudge right wing grifters like Phetasy exploiting the Alt-Stupid for financial gain. They needed the money. But now they’re all rich so sprinkle in a lil truth once in awhile.

    Bridget or Maggie listen
Hello ladies I just listened to the Sargon episode and I’m annoyed that you left so much on the table ( or is it off the table lol !) she disarmed you with buttering you up straight off the back and it was barely an interview after that when you let her get away with the nichole Hannah Jones comments and 1619 project and you asked 0 questions you gave me an aneurysm and I died on the spot . They are trying to resuscitate me but it doesn’t look like it will work :/ what the F

    Echo chamber
Initially got into this show via Joe rogan and over time got tired of just one sided guest and the theme being “woke” dangerous or stupid. I prefer a show that is less ideologically driven I recommend Lex Friedman or The argument with Jane Coaston

    Amazing podcast
I just love this podcast. Bridget has a wonderful perspective on healing and recovery that has nothing to do with victim mentality or self-pity. She talks to today’s leading intellectuals in a way that’s accessible to all. Truly a gem.

    Bridget from “Dumpster Fire”
I highly recommend the show “Dumpster Fire” on YouTube. It is the funniest thing on tv, on YouTube, in every country I’ve been to during this stupid decline of civilization. This is also a great podcast - she is genuinely a very curious person, asks great questions. All of these cancelled people happen to also be the richest talent pool in the world, by far. They are the most edgy, incisive, gutsy, brilliant, multifaceted, creative talent of these generations (x and millennials, with a dash of Z) and the mainstream is utterly blowing it by giving them to us. This is the real talent. I would hate to see them destroyed by the Hollywood machine, however. I hope they always remain independent thinkers.

    The Leader of the Center
Bridgett is truly the leader of the politically homeless, and she’s killing it!

    We don’t deserve her!!!!
😎 This is the realest and fiercest chick around. She’s serious with her messaging but knows humor is needed to get through these trying times and discussions.
  • Ssbmr
    Just about perfect!
I love her honesty. I think it’s hard to find honesty, introspection, insight and yes, humility in people and you have it all. Not sure if there’s a correlation but these qualities seem more…honed in front those who have successfully conquered programs like AA. Love it! Keep it up we need you!

    Queen Bridget
I am obsessed w this woman. Listen to her podcast (she has great guests!) and her dumpster fire of a YouTube show (no, really, it’s called Dumpster Fire). You shan’t regret it.

    Yay Bridget! AND COUSIN MAGGIE!
I love these two! The adventures! The silliness! OMG the 'story time with Bridget' episodes are the best. Good guest list from a wide spectrum of topics. Wishing the team well deserved success!!!!!

    Both sides
One of the many things that I love about this podcast is Bridget’s ability to have thoughtful discussions with a variety of guests without getting into typical Left wing or Right wing narratives. A funny, engaging host who facilities conversations with guests that address the topics of the day from both sides. Highly recommended.

    Bridget Phetasy Is Amazing
Wonderful, thoughtful, casual conversations with a wide range of guests. Bridget has a way of bringing out the best in people. 🥰 Walk Ins Welcome has surpassed Joe Rogan as my favorite podcast. If Bridget released a new episode every day, I’d make time for them. 🙏 So good!!! ❤️ And check out Dumpster Fire 🔥on YouTube for a totally different side of Bridget.

    Phetasy’s walk in awesome antedote
Love this podcast. So rarely now-a-days do we get to here a good conversation and have time to digest with a skilled interviewer. Listening to Phetasy interview interesting people & topics reminds me of listening to my funny grandfather as a kid -knowledgeable but with a touch of human-ness that makes the convo flow.
