Her content is good, but she speaks with a lot of up-speak, which makes her not sound very confident and makes her statements feel like a question. I appreciate her effort.

First, I have to say I love this show! I am in the process of publishing my first children’s illustration book.I stumbled across the show while trying to find insight from other authors. I am truly a fish out of water starting this new adventure. This podcast has completely opened my eyes, in a good way. I had no idea how much work goes on behind the scenes when you choose to self publish. Through this podcasts encouragement and knowledge I truly believe I am up for the task! This podcast is a treasure trove of information that will benefit independent authors, regardless of where they’re at in the publication process. Laurie provides loads of inspiration and dives deep into a variety of topics. I particularly like the interviews wherein Laurie explores unusual methods utilized by outliers as I find these are a wonderful jumping point for additional research.
