EmoneybagzzzzzzAwesome show!Great show Aljo. Your input and take from a fighters perspective is always dope and insightful. You gotta stop swallowing on the mic though bro that sound is unbearable 😣. Besides that, great show, mad potential. I see this blowing up into one of the most popular podcasts especially after you retire from fighting and have more time to devote to it.
-
itschase48Really enjoy the pod!Really loving the insight on everything and following your journey. If I could critique one thing is if you could stop drinking and sipping water in the mic, that sound stops me from listening to what you are saying.

Grundy smashAwesome podcastI love the podcast. Aljamain has great insight about the intricacies of fighting. The mic sounds like its too close though because you can hear him swallow pretty often. Other then that love the podcast!

SBportisHow you,on accident, became my favorite fighter/personality in the ufc!I love this podcast! I became a fan of ALJO honestly by watching Al Iaquinta. I became a huge fan of Al by watching a smaller fighter for his weight class compete because of his training, his coaches, his training partners, and his drive/dedication, his passion! That’s when my love for Matt Serra and Ray Longo and their team grew! R I was born and raised in Virginia with an elementary school teacher as a Mom and my father was an athletic coordinator for the city; and however raised in the world of friendship and sports, I never became a fan of northern teams in the world of sports. With that being said, I grew through watching as a dedicated mma fan from 2005 (my high school graduation year). From here I became not only a fan of people from different states within the United States of America, but also fans of international fighters! I ended up working for a company (RVCA) which opened my eyes to talents all over the board. They were a clothing company that sponsored surfers, artists, skaters, mma fighters, graffiti artists, etc. My father has and still shapes surfboards. I grew up watching surf and skate videos and trying to be in the “so called” counter counter. Art, music, and other “non-mainstream” followings at the time became my obsessions. Mma became everything I needed! Long story (semi) short, I put all my time into these obsessions in my life. Surfing, art, skating, friendship, and MMA became everything. Years down the road I end up getting tickets to a ufc fight, at a fight night in Raleigh, NC. I was walking back to my seat after grabbing some food where I noticed a boss, Aljamain Sterling! I yelled , “yo aljo!” He turned and said what’s up. Gave me and my friends time to take a few pics. He was very polite and nice to a random stranger! Was a fan, now my favorite! Could have easily blew me off or ignored me yelling at him while he was patiently waiting in a busy line

-
Sean75kgGreat listenGreat listen with honest analaysis! Can’t be easy giving honest review especially in your own division! Can’t wait to hear it AFTER you win the title from the champion of cringe! (Once he’s done ducking you and calling our fighters after losses)

Josh.D.E.Fantastic Podcast Delivering Quality ContentI have been a fan of Aljo since his first fight in the UFC. I admire his current kick heavy game that is growing from his Longo/Serra base. When I seen his post on Twitter about “The Weekly Scraps” podcast he was starting, I quickly responded and listened as a fan of Aljo. He has become a great fight analyst that is well spoken. He has recently earned a special spot on Luke Thoma’s, “Morning Kombat” (which if you know Luke, then that is an impressive feat). Great content added consistently. Spread the word and let people know there is a new voice from a fighter perspective in the MMA podcasting world. Much Respect Josh Edwards

maxandlousdadGame blousesThank man. Keep it going.

larrytExcited to see where this goes.I like how real this is. I wish there was someone else involved to bounce your opinions of the fights off of etc. Everyone has their own opinions based on their experience, and it would make me as a listener more comfortable to be a fly on the wall during an mma conversation between experts rather than being the sole listener of your expert opinion. (well thats how it feels to me listening at least, even tho i know many people are listening.)

-
AluxurysoundFunktasticThe weekly scraps is the best sports talk show on the planet. Aljo’s insightful, but I most appreciate the outside the box thinking. He presents information differently and it’s very interesting
-
All day pimp daddyGreat MMA listenAljamain Sterling uses his outstanding speaking skills in an thought provoking and entertaining podcast. Aljamain breaks down the MMA world with an inside out approach that you won’t get from an MMA journalist. He also encourages discussion and interaction on his various forms of social media, making his podcast the most engaging MMA podcast out there today.

MerrowdactylOne of My New FavoritesAs an avid MMA fan, podcasts are my go-to source for information week in and week out in a sport that's always changing. Staying up to date with this sport from event to event as it grows is one of the best things about being a fan. With "The Weekly Scraps" we get new content and insight every week from the Funkmaster himself, hopefully some interviews with more Serra/Longo fighters in the future too! Bottom Line: Aljo can give better insight that any journalist into the MMA World, and I'm excited to see this pod grow as he makes his way to the top of the division! 10/10 - Highly reccomended to any UFC/MMA/Combat Sports fan, new or seasoned.
