Me x 7Profanity equals amateurish writingI am not easily offended by profanity but in this show it comes across as an amateur attempt at being edgy. It is not used to punctuate dialogue but to just happen all the time. I made it to the episode with the character who is victim of domestic violence pleading with an AI character to not tell on her husband, yes it was as cringe as it sounds. Characters are cliches and live within that single boundary. Decent production value and some worthy voice acting.

-liz's-Dad-CaptivatingI’ve been binging the story. The sarcasm is priceless. I’m planning on re-listening once I’m done with the lust for the story. I’m anticipating a similar experience as rewatching Back To the Future. Be prepared for plot twists and whiplash. Let the story unfold instead of judging and categorizing it too soon. No, the characters are not plastic and may not be how they first appear. Yes, the profanity is a little gratuitous. It’s also realistic for the circumstances. I’m very close to calling this one “original.”

JaylargeDisappointedI really like the podcast and story I’ve listened to the almost entire story twice but it’s really disappointing that I’ve been waiting since August 2020 and it is now May 2021 for the finale. That’s one heck of a cliff hanger.

PhelineCatProfanity? Really?Another reviewer commented on profanity; I honestly didn't notice but have been caught up in the story. They may want to listen to Lexicon Valley. John McWhorter has insight into changing language, regardless of how we feel about it. When I like a podcast I scour the surrounding areas for what I may have missed or what accompanies the one I just finished … in this case there's a Steam Punk Actual Play podcast. oh dear. Steam Punk is fine. Actual Play? I have my doubts, but I'll give it a try.

Gotta Go PoddySuperior ContentRiggs is a great storyteller. Not many writers can paint a captivating landscape in addition to characters that you can love, hate, and actually miss hearing from and about. I hope the story continues and spawns more in the Copperheart universe. Easily top 3 next to Wolf 359 and The Gearheart.

D.M.P.UnimpressedImagine the members of your local trailer park got together to write a podcast script. This would be the result! Every character is trashy, constant streams of profanity throughout.
-
KarenslistI love this. More pleaseHooked early on and I listen to a lot of podcasts. This is superior in recording, story, and characters. Desperate to hear the ending.... please please more

Young WrenzoSOStuffWould have loved to continued listening. Very interesting storyline. Too bad so many writers rely on a constant stream of profanity to validate their work.
-
GenuineKimA story well told! Ready for S2!!Great story and storytelling not an easy accomplishment as there are only a hand full of decent auto drama writers out there that have the gift

Hand of HecateDrags on.It’s okay, but, I found myself skipping ahead first by small chunks of an episode and ultimately several episodes. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. There’s some great parts, but, the pace of the story line is brutally slow.

DWRoelandsGreat story and writing. Amateur cringey voice actingThe author is clearly talented and has written a compelling story that is really engaging; if this were a book I’d read it. The voice acting here is so bad that I had to stop listening because it was so distracting. The actor playing Baxter sounds like he went to Community College of Villainy and got a doctorate in How To Speak While Twirling Your Villainous Mustache. There’s a really good story here but it’s buried under bad acting.

mikatchusAwesome Ride!Copperheart delivers on an engaging story that has a pace ranging from a slow burn to a tense atmosphere where you have no idea what happens next. The world is deep and not typical regurgitated “Area 51 “ lore. Great voices and sound effects just draw you in deeper. I have at times felt like I missed something, but this only adds to the mystery honestly. And every time I’ve felt that if I stick with it a bit further it gets presented again in another creative way. Can’t wait to fire up more episodes on my long drives!

HammontreA fun podcastI'm glad the movie career didn't pan out -- I don't enjoy film or TV, and I would have missed the stories by the writer. This podcast is enjoyable, and has a great cast of familiar voices. The story is easy to follow, and though I haven't listened to every episode yet, there don't seem to be any slow points or plot holes. I agree with some other reviewers in that the episodes are too short. But they are just about average for this type of podcast. I'm honestly a bit tired of this genre, and would prefer more options that don't involve aliens/ghosts/mystical beings. But, Copperheart is a compelling addition to the canon, and I'm glad I stumbled onto it. Audio dramas are a fantastic way to tell a story without taking away from the imaginary worlds that books allow the mind to create. I look forward to more from this writer, and I am happy to hear some excellent voice actors involved in another quality production.

38wwrdccmaShort episodesI really like this podcast but the episodes are so short! I want more!!

Kaela_KA bit jumpy but....The first few episodes were a bit jumbled (at least for me while I listened at/while working) so I had to re-listen to the 1st three again and read the show notes so I knew which time frame we were in... That got me back up to speed... The show has a good storyline so I hope it continues...!!! :)

EmariewallisThoroughly enjoying it!Creepy without being over-the-top. Excellent acting and world-building. Can’t wait to hear more!

DSBoston1Good start, getting weaker thoughA little disappointed. Great premise and idea, but like so many dozens of other podcasts that we can say that about, we get about 7 episodes in ("Done") and about half the episode (excluding intro, outro, and recap) is two bros sitting in a bar drinking with one going on and on and on about his sexual fantasies with one of the female characters. For this and some other dialog there's a very fine line they're treading between realistic dialog and a play written by a high schooler. As the plot of this podcast seems to be very serious, I'd expect a little more serious dialog and plot advancement in each episode, you can't be full of filler 7 episodes in. I'll stick with it but this was a weak episode.

KaraPanteraEar Candy.I was hooked from the very first episode of Copperheart. It is everything an audio drama should be and I can’t wait to hear the story unfold! Great job, guys and keep it coming!
