#BTTFWhere’s the restIf the is THE BLUTH THE WHOLE BLUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE BLUTH then where is the end? it said in the description that it was going from the secret of not nimh to titan AE so where is it either way tho this is a good podcast.UPDATE: note that in your dragon’s lair episode I think you should watch a video because you missed 1 or 2 treasures when you got to the sequel to dragon’s lair.Update Update:Remember when the hosts said that this was the only video game episode but then they made an animal crossing episode

DanashellsLove All The ThingsOk so besides loving all the things about this podcast ... I particularly love all of the sounds. If someone says a word that is in a song or a sound that relates to the movie you’ll hear it in the background or it will be played and cut off once the subject has been changed. Much how my brain works, it’s like being in my head but better. Anyways Forrest my cat and I enjoy listening to all the episodes and will be sad once the podcast is over. Thank you for all your creative convos about these great childhood films!!!

Samreow17Best Podcast for Long RunsI’m training for a half marathon and I had to run 11 miles IN THE SNOW (a first for me). Luckily, the Balto episode was out. The only thing that kept me going was thinking “if Balto can do this, so can I!”

ouuuch84So much funI love listening to you and your guests talk about some of my favorite movies from my childhood. The only downside for me is that I am not able to join you as a guest because I love to talk about animated movies!

Cotreadwell is not happyThis podcast is my wingsI drive an hour to work every day and when I’m able to listen to this podcast it’s makes the commute much easier. I really enjoy the thoughtful examination of these films as well as the humor used to approach them. Please keep doing what you do! My friends are sick of hearing movie/animation trivia and I don’t care.

KweenofthewildfrontierThis is 30By age 13 I was convinced that my Seabert the Seal and Don Bluth VHSs (VHS’? Eh.) were something that only existed in my household, or like the hosts say, as weird childhood fever dreams. I think it took me turning 30 to a. Start crying when I see babies at the grocery store, and b. Finally find a podcast that is what I have clearly needed all my life: 2+ hours of insane Bluthy goodness. A must listen for all those folks out there and their not-so-imaginary-after-all friends.

barberdarlingNostalgia + interesting factsI love this podcast so much working my way through all the episodes after listening to my favorites first, you are not only thorough but so much fun to listen to. I hope you just keep going and review even more dark animation from that time even though the name say nothing but the Bluth. Hoping whimsical dark animation makes a comeback

Squigi21Dearie, Marry The PodcastIf you've ever wished that you could sit with people that think as much about the filmography of animation filmmaker Don Bluth as you, and for a long time, then this podcast is your new favorite! Dax and Sara perform casual yet focused dissections of each of the Notorious D.O.N.'s emotionally charged movies. An affable, almost borfish atmosphere emanates from the earnest and direct obersvations from Sara in tandem with Dax's thoughtful and experienced musings. The sessions covering era-related "Non Bluth" movies are worth checking out too, giving anyone who was too young to get exposed to some animation deep cuts (like me) some worthwhile recommendations and insights. Dax and Sara are entertainingly expressing their confident biases and opions while making admirable efforts to find the sweet harmony in Mr. Bluth's films.

I loved this podcast but...Love this podcast!!!Why so few reviews?!? This podcast is legit. It is a couple of friends talking about movies with all the fun facts. I have a greater appreciation for a lot of movies I watched in my childhood. I look forward every episode and please don’t stop your work!

HowismydrivingIt is nice to learn about non-Mouse animated filmsI can’t say I would consider myself an animation fanatic, but have always enjoyed animated films and shorts. It is nice to more about Don Bluth and what he made and still might be making. The hosts and guests chemistry is great. I would encourage you to continue to do more non-Bluth episodes as those are great too. The one thing that disappointed me was that there was no mention of Gertie the Dinosaur when talking about Land Before Time.

Leaohnnah JeanGood news everyone, it’s a podcast! To animation enthusiasts everywhere comes this delightful podcast. Hosts Sara and Dax with varying guests thoughtfully revisit the “good nightmares” from Don Bluth and other contemporaries. Whether or not you went to film school, you’ll enjoy the mise en mic.

Jael ChaucerLike listening to friends reminisce about moviesThis podcast is long but it doesn’t feel like it. Everyone on the show has great chemistry and I feel like I’m listening to my friends talk about my favorite childhood movies. I watch a number of film buffs on YouTube, but I’m learning new things from this podcast. What else to say? It’s just a genuine joy every time they release a new episode.

noshoes039Fond memories and fresh perspectivesI’m so glad this podcast exists. These are my favorite movies from childhood and I’m always so happy to find other people who remember and equally cherish them. It’s great to hear the film history and interesting facts along with the podcaster perspectives as adults-who-just-rewatched.

dhsauersLovely!I love Don Bluth movies and I’m so glad Sara and Dax are doing this pod! So fun to listen to and really well done.

Cat_Eyed_FoxLove every aspect of this showFrom the movies to the hosts I am here for it! Dax has a great store if practical knowledge about the animation industry and a true love for don bluths films. Sara is a delight who went to film school too, and after watching all of the bluth films 10 years ago is excited to watch them again from an older, nostalgic place.
