KabrushI can finally focus on Self Care 😍I have been listening to Rina for about 4 months now and I love her advice! It’s all based on her research and experiences as a working mom. The most common theme in her podcast is self care, listening to your own needs/instincts, and of course she provides many tricks and insights into how to make incremental changes that add up over time so you can find more balance. While some advice is not for me, I am able to get something positive out of each and every podcast! Thanks Rina :)

TerrariumRoxSimply amazingI discovered this AMAZING podcast about two years ago when I was searching for a podcast about how to achieve the ever-elusive work-life balance – as much as humanly possible anyway. Juggling work, kids activities, and volunteer commitments was overwhelming more often than not. This podcast has turned out to be an absolute gold mine of advice for gaining more balance, ensuring time is made for self-care, being more organized, stopping the pursuit of perfection, etc. While it’s called Balanced Working Moms, Rina focuses on the general busyness of mom life - not on paid work. We are all working moms regardless of whether someone provides a paycheck. I love that Rina posts a new podcast every 2 weeks – I look forward to the new ones and have listened to many of them over and over again. I love listening to her on my morning walks. I encourage my busy mom friends to check out the Balanced Working Moms podcast, Facebook community, and website. Rina is simply magical!

Jb876Excellent stuff!I’ve been a listener for a few months and love this content! Rina is down to earth and gives really good suggestions and information. Some of my favorites are how her husband lights a candle and listens to music while cleaning the kitchen to make it less unpleasant, how to get things taken care of by others without being confrontational (works awesome with my husband!) and how memes can be funny but maybe we should encourage and build each other up; then we can laugh together! Keep it coming!

Misty V.Relatable and Informative!I just found this podcast and am binging on it now! I love her tips and her down-to-earth, friendly demeanor. She takes topics that are extremely relatable and gives her own spin on things which is very refreshing. Her tips are her innovative and her own, not the recycled ideas you hear over and over again.

BestThingsInLifeGreater appreciation for what I haveThis is an amazing podcast for working moms who at times feel a bit out to sea without a preserver. With Rina’s suggestions, she tosses us scuba gear to not only stay at sea, but be awestruck at the vibrant colors and scenery. Futurefamer16Incredible Podcast!!I recommended this podcast to my mom after searching for things that could help her manage the stressful life of having a 10 and 2 year old, working full time, and taking care of my grandparents. She has been loving it and making quality lifestyle changes with the insightful information Rina provides. So happy for her and recommend this for ALL working moms who are overwhelmed with stress!

KBugsUPJust. Keep. Moving.Rina is relatable and so on point as she shares a variety of topics that all working moms need. It’s a relief to know I am not alone; there are better ways to do things that aren’t all that different but I hadn’t thought of, and it will all be okay. What a great boost to the day! I love this podcast to keep me moving forward, especially when even that seems too much.
-

julthegamerSitting alone in office is no longer lonelyI have never listened to a podcast until recently. I would always just play Pandora while working in the office, sadly like many many other companies most of the employees were let go due to the pandemic. I consider myself lucky to still be employed but I was so busy that I hadn’t noticed what a toll this has taken in me, I’m constantly under stress at work then I take that home. This podcast has really helped me and I’ve only been listening for 2 days, she’s so realistic and so relatable and so calming, best of all it keeps me company in the office. So what better way to spend time listening to a motivational podcast that enriches your life sets you in a good mood and you take that good mood home to your family for me that’s everything right now. Thank you!

Janet LitSimply the best!Rina presents difficult (seemingly impossible) concepts in a calm, rational & reassuring tone. At times she is candid, which gives her podcast authenticity. The information provided comes from legitimate, often scientific sources. Rina’s podcast resonates with me & putting her kind advice to use has added a layer of calm to my hectic life. I also love her worksheets - they are easy to use & often make my life easier. Keep up the good work, Rina!!! You’re an inspiration to us all!

PmcbeeWisdom, Practicality and Infectious Positivity!I love this Podcast! You can hear the affection and empathy in Rina's voice when she tells you she gets what you're up against, as well as her excited confidence that she's going to take you on this amzing journey that's going to make things better and easier. And she DOES! I love all the episodes, but the slightly tough-love mama bearism of Episode 10, encouraging us to embrace true self care--instead the things we pretend are self care -- is so insightful and transformative that I just listened again.

SisccfaSecond Arrow Be Gone!Oh My Goodness - Pod cast #14, the Bad Day, was such a help. I took notes and your tips really got the ideas flowing. I tend to analyze after the bad event, trying to see what i could have done to lessen the badness or how to keep it from affecting me as much, but analyzing often takes me down the worry path which fosters anxiety which leads to suffering. I'm going to try putting a time limit on the analysis - 5 minutes at a time maybe, interspersed with something from my list of calming influences. With all that pent-up energy/aggrevantion, a brisk walk or some hot tea helps. Thanks for this podcast!

Erin ShebishA Serious Pick Me Up!This podcast is like a breath of fresh air and I cannot get enough! I'm often inundated with podcasts to listen to and yet I find myself go back to this one again and again. Rina makes it feel like she's your best friend and biggest supporter; such an amazing quality in a podcast. This is a must listen, you will not regret it!

Danman11011Heart to heart helpI saw this podcast on my wife’s feed (I listen to a lot of podcasts) and thought I would give it a whirl. Rina shows vulnerability, provides ideas she tested, she gives support and it is all done in a spirit of kindness. Although I’m not a mom, I can easily see how having a friend an the other end of the podcast, who is offering to help but also seems to address concerns right when you may think of them. I like that it is not a “banter” podcast, everything is very thoughtful and efficient. If you just want a flood of ideas for balance, this podcast may not be for you. But if you want a relationship with a friend that is empathetic and supportive- you’ve found the balance podcast you are looking for.

Stephanie FrumkinLove the podcast! What an upbeat, helpful podcast! Rina really connects with her audience—almost like we’re having a conversation over a cup of tea in my living room! I especially loved listening to Rina’s life hacks. Every two weeks at the grocery store?! I’ll need to try it! I’m looking forward to more episodes!
-
Breathing LightBalance is possibleI love Rina’s definition of balance and how it truly is possible. This mindset of balance is possible adds hope to the daily grind. It’s not about perfection it’s about creating ease. Our critter brains strive for perfection but what we really need is balance which in turn equals ease. I have been a stay at home mom for years and now work out of the home so I’m so excited to learn more about “balance” and what that means for me.
-
