When it comes to the art/hobby of miniatures, and nerd culture in general, Jon and Scott are extremely insightful, and hilarious. My tabletop quality painting skills and general enjoyment of the hobby have significantly increased (along with my sugar intake) since I’ve become “TUP-aware”.

Great to listen to while painting, mowing the yard, or eating some sweet sweet chicken tendies.

As an 8 time golden Winner and slayer sword painter I can say this podcast is great listening for when your painting minis or just washing dishes while painting minis.

From the Goodie Peepees to the Dew Suckers, this is the best podcast out there. Quality sound and packed full of interesting topics and inside jokes. I strongly encourage all to start from the beginning and grow with the show.

Pros: Features a Vincent Von Venturella segment each episode. Regular guidance on chicken tenders. Sometimes they don't use pink. Cons: There are unmistakably creepy naming conventions for subscribers. There is also talk about hard cookies as if they aren't just cooking mistakes.

This is the best vince venturella podcast I’ve ever heard!! they broke the mold when they made this one! It’s funny witty and knowledgeable on all things Vince !

Love this show and the chemistry between Jon amd Scott. It’s so good that I went back and started listening to them all from the start. It’s the only podcast I listen to while painting (or driving or working or really anything). TBH it’s the only one I’m gonna listen to at all until I catch up which is saying something because I never do that.

I love these guys. I've watched them on youtube for months. when I found that they had a podc ase you're dang right I jumped in. In the time of the pandemic It's nice to know that I can hang out and have a fun conversation with friends.

This is my favorite hobby podcast to relax and build/paint miniatures with. Both hosts are funny and I find myself laughing out loud multiple times each episode. Aside from the laughs, these guys give great tips on how to improve your painting skills. 5/5 would recommend

I have to say, I have a short attention span. Usually I would listen to something for 15-20min tops. I have listened to most episodes from start to finish. That has to show y’all doing something correct. I don’t even paint minis, just an appreciable person of hobbyists

These two have a great chemistry together and offer valuable hobby information along with a bunch of laughs! Highly recommended

I recently have gotten interested in dioramas and was looking for a good podcast for miniature painting and setups. These two guys have a great relationship and know there stuff.

Recently been coming back to the hobby and found Miniac on YouTube. While watching I found that there was a podcast and have been enjoying every episode. Love the host interaction with Scott and Jon. Love how humble they are about the hobby and the art and the exploration of the games and painting. Shared with my friends that are also reactivating the hobby. One my favorite listens before bed and on my way to work.

I’ve been a longtime viewer of miniac videos and really enjoy the podcast! One thing I would love to hear is more personal examples or anecdotes when discussing topics. For example, for the TTS topic, are there techniques or ways you cut corners for tabletop standard that you wouldn’t or rarely do for display? Thanks for all the content. I listen to it while painting all the time.

I’ve been watching Scott’s videos for some time and was excited to see him and John put together a podcast. As expected, the production value is excellent. Often I’ll experience a podcast with good content, but I have a hard time enjoying the podcast due to production value. These guys (and their editor) hit it spot on. That being said, what makes this a great podcast is the energy these guys share. They obviously enjoy each other’s company and align on many issues. Some may say they agree too much, but the variety of perspectives they provide is still valuable. And honestly, it is hard to put together a podcast about a visual medium, and they have succeeded. If there is any critique, they focus a lot on Games Workshop games like Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar. If you have no knowledge in these games (weird due to their presence in this industry, but possible), this podcast might not align with your listening needs.

It’s like listening to a pair of guys show you pictures to demonstrate how good steak tastes are between inside jokes you won’t get. And the guys are identical twins. This is an audio presentation about visual art, at least it is betwixt conversations about the video they shot with Sam Nosurnamegiven and Halloween parties you weren’t invited to. I can’t tell the presenters’ voices apart, so eventually it sounds to me like a one guy talking to himself. So overall, this is better than any number of Maximum Fun podcasts. If you paint, you’ll probably find this podcast of interest at times.

A great podcast addition to this hobby! A wealth of knowledge and personal insight from a team of humble practitioners. Learning, growing, and education for hobby folks of all strips. Keep up the great work.

The sarcasm is on point. Need to get this on a one week rotation, every other Monday isn’t enough.

I look forward to Scott's weekly Miniac videos on YouTube primarily for the reason I'll now be eagerly waiting for each new episode of TUP, it's fun to listen. Scott and John play off each other perfectly. They do multiple topics in each cast, it's not all specific to just one aspect of the hobby, and it all gives you the feels of just hanging out in the garage with your buds. I look forward to more of this and hope maybe more frequent podcasts. Also, this is the first podcast I've ever listened to and I love it.
