I love this podcast it’s not scary to me but rather entertaining and hysterical I love the host banter!! They crack me up every episode and the stories are very interesting to listen to!!

Will and Annie/Annie and Will are the best. The only problem with them, is that some crabby listeners must be sniffing glue before listening to them. Making said listener think that they are dull. Annie and Will’s trash talking and laughing, are what makes this show stand out from the others. It’s not boring detailed dribble and the accents are on point! My favorite, it’s like sitting around with friends.

I love the approach these two have to podcasting. The banter, as well as the other segments, transition in ways that remind me of Monty python. This is a phenomenal show and I wish there were more than 10 episodes. My only criticism is the Irish accent; whenever I listen to these guy I instantly want to listen to The Rubberbandits and regret there’s no effective way to simultaneously listen to both of these beautiful Irish groups.

It may sound a bit dramatic but I did not realize anything was missing from my podcast lineup until I started listening to this one. I was not prepared for the energy that Annie and Will bring and I am here for it. Their chemistry is wonderful. I went on a binge, had withdrawals and swiftly signed up to their Patreon.

Will and Annie are a delight! Funny stories, interesting history, fascinating tales. I laugh every episode, sometimes to the point of tears, and learn things too! The history of well-known superstitions and beliefs is really one of the best parts of this podcast.

Can’t stand their banter back and forth. Just don’t find them funny or even entertaining, more annoying. I was looking forward to listening to this podcast, but I couldn’t make it past 4 episodes. I turn it off in the middle of episodes or fast forward to get to the actual content. The actual content is interesting, but really could do without the rest or interruptions/trying to be funny bits.

Utilizing traits of many of the most notable persons throughout history, God manifested this individual to have the wisdom of the Dalai Lama, the grace of Audrey Hepburn, the humility of Mahatma Gandhi, and the comic prowess of the Whoopee cushion. This extraordinary soul is the co-host of what is, beyond dispute, the most fantastic podcast of them all, “What the F**k is in this Book” (henceforth WTFIITB), and her name is Annie. WTFIITB is an irrefutable masterpiece of audio programming, to not subscribe to this show would be a grievous error. Stop whatever baboonery you are currently fumbling around with and listen to WTFIITB, and you, too, will behold the melodious voice of the genius that is Annie. Seriously, don’t be stupid, do it now. PS. her co-host, Will, is also pretty rad.

I cannot get enough of this snarky, hilarious pair discussing spooky tales and surprisingly educational histories and lore. Every episode I have laughed till I cried AND learned something new. Love it!

I’m a stay at home mom with a deep love of all things spooky. Right now, we are getting ready to move and this has become my new favorite podcast to put on while I work. Annie and Will make me feel like I’ve invited my friends over to keep me company and talk creepy things. They have new stories I genuinely have not heard before and I can’t wait for more!!

So glad I finally had the time to dig into the full back catalogue of this show!. The framing device of The Book™ makes for a fun premise to ground each episode, and I love the way this serves as a stepping-off point for research into adjacent tales from all across the wide world of the spooky. This format alone makes for a great listening experience, but on top of that, Will and Annie have terrific chemistry. Their very lived-in and comfortable rapport makes them natural co-hosts, which puts this podcast head and shoulders above the typical "two friends with microphones" fare you'll find out there. This podcast is worth a listen. Personally I love it because it's both creepy and funny at the same time. I started listening last week and quickly got caught up on all the episodes. If you'd be interested in a podcast with two hilarious people telling creepy stories this one is for you!
