Great basketball (and sports) po!

This is my “must listen” pod every week. Usually twice per week and always interesting and enjoyable. No idiotic hot-takes and manufactured controversy, just intelligent conversation about current events in the basketball world with a focus on the Celtics. Gary is the perfect host and keeps things moving. Bob is an absolute legend and fountain of knowledge and memories. Jeff sure knows his stuff. Highly recommended!!

Can’t do this anymore.

The last podcast I listened to was the Cooper Flagg episode. 12 mins long. 6 mins of Ad’s. No Bob Ryan. Audio and production values have always been amateur hour and they don’t have any plans to improve. Time to unfollow.

Goodman is a wanna be NBA guy that talks up Tatum like he’s better than Giannis and prime Lebron and pretends to know what he’s talking about.

Let Bob Cook!

I was looking for Bob Ryan content and tried this podcast. After a couple of weeks I’d rather just listen to him narrate Scribe - which is wonderful. Goodman sounds like he is an invested dad and that’s all that really matters. For podcasting though I’d wish he’d be more prepared, stammer less, and let Bob do the overwhelming majority of the talking. Though I could do without the email notifications, he is the star of the show.

Legends doing what legends do!

Easily my new favorite podcast and it’s only a few episodes in. 2 legendary broadcasters getting together to talk NBA?? Sign me up!! The knowledge and anecdotal commentary provided by Goodman and Ryan is incomparable. Of course as a Celtics fan I love the Green talk but the coverage of the league and b-ball in general in fantastic! CLNS Media is the place if you want this kind of content in your podcasts. Hands down.

Guys - audio unacceptable

Love the conversation guys, but can you please invest in a good audio system and pay an audio guy to help you out? Whether you’re in the same room or not or at opposite ends of the country there’s no reason we should have to struggle to hear what you’re saying and be frustrated by the sound quality. It’s 2019. You can get this done right, relatively cheaply. Looking forward to REALLY hearing you guys for some time to come

Uh, basketball heaven?

I usually don’t comment on pods I work with but, bc I’m such a huge Goodman fan.. oh, and Bob Ryan? He’s not only my hero, he TAUGHT me basketball growing up and kept me up to speed on Larry Legend & the Boston Celtics. I truly am a fan of these 2 dudes. ‘ The show is great. It feels like I’m just chilling w 2 basketball geniuses at Starbucks or Dunkin, sipping coffee and talking hoops. Love it. Love the video version on YouTube and instagram too
