As an avid gardener of both ornamental and edible plants, there is good information here. The way Colah and guests interact feels like home! I love it!

While recovering from surgery, this podcast has been so instrumental for my emotional wellbeing. It’s culturally relevant and full of information that I just didn’t think about previously. (Example the botanical Black history episodes) I’m so happy to have this podcast!

This is the perfect podcast for anyone with an interest in plants, gardening, and horticulture seasoned with humor, culture and love for her people. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening.

I’m not a plant guy, in the least. But I do appreciate her approach to horticulture: it’s much more about “The Culture” than it is a scientific breakdown of plants and soil. Not that science is bad but I ain’t there yet. I’m just here for the jokes and plant talk from people who look and sound like me.

I’ve loved seeing the growth of this podcast everything from the art to the conversations are so on point. Colah B is constantly leveling up and making shifts in the culture.

I’m sooo excited every week that we have a podcast now. The hashtags on insta do so much for the Soil Sistas but I never had a voice to put it to. And this podcast has finally given us a voice. I’ve learned so much from how to garden to all the amazing stuff George Washington Carver has done outside of the peanut. Colah is so funny and familiar like the homegirl I’m always running into at my favorite garden center. The podcast has put me on to so many black businesses within the black gardening/ plant lady community. I’m so happy this podcast is here and I can’t wait to see how far it goes. Merch please 🥰

This has easily become one of my favorite podcasts featured on #applepodcast. It was refreshing to listen and learn from the featured guests especially during Black History Month. I had no idea there were so many black gardeners, horticulturists, farmers, Etc until this podcast. We need more content like this so please make it available. Apple Podcast is my favorite place to listen to podcasts and I’ll continue to support it as long as you keep featuring educational and entertaining content like Black in the Garden.
