The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was a very popular Old-time Radio (OTR) show that aired in the United States, and starred Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce from October 1939 to July 1947. The episodes were written by Edith Meiser, Dennis Green and Anthony Boucher. Together, Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce appeared in 220 episodes as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

Rathbone & Bruce

Started enjoying Sherlock Holmes OTR shows in 2008 or so. One thing I wanted was consistent annotation of the actors voicing Holmes and Watson. Rathbone & Bruce and Hobbs & Shelley are my favorite pairs, often requiring scrolling through podcasts and guessing based on the year of broadcast. So nice to have a podcast feed based on The actors. There is another that is primarily Hobbs and Shelley, FYI.
