Great podcast for going deep into your favorite topics…
Great subject matter, great and knowledgeable guests, congenial hosts. Minor ask: dial back on the frequent interruptions to make bad jokes by about 10%? Some humor is fine, but let’s not interrupt the flow of great storytelling too often.

    Mostly Good.
Interesting subjects and good guests, I would recommend to a friend. Sometimes Pat gets a little too obnoxious (Lusitania) to bear and I have to switch it off.

What a fun and informative podcast!
I found this show through Addressing Gettysburg’s Patreon content. Pat and Matt Borders are a great team. Pat with the energy, Matt with the authority of knowledge and all while being entertaining and welcoming to the audience. I LOVE the Titanic episode. I could have listened to another four hours of them talking about the Titanic. I listen to podcasts to escape the modern day BS and politics. These guys stay on point and don’t needlessly inject modern nonsense into their work. That’s respectable in my book. Definitely give this a listen if you’re sick of dry, boring, stuck-up historians or historian wannabes.

    Enthusiastic!
These guys must spend their day eating and sleeping history. In depth and research based. Good work. Good listen!

    One of the best around
Gentlemen, you have provided for us a listening experience that is truly one of a kind. Your dulcet tones and deep connection to the subject matter gives one the impression of sitting amongst Aeschylus and Euripides. I would like to offer and deep and meaningful thank you for all that you have and will accomplish. I tip my hat to you sirs.

    Love the long episode!
Never be afraid to deep dive into the rabbit holes and tangents! I simply abhor podcasts with short episodes, they are just so materially shallow. Keep the deep episodes and I’ll listen to all your stuff!

    Things ya don’t know..!
Great details and in-depth background! Interesting material. Shorter episodes would make it easier to find time to listen - it’s worth the time. Great work!
