raw pod reviewmost educational podcastThis podcast has literally changed my life. Just when I thought there was no hope for my health concerns, I have healed myself on my own just from the info from the amazing people Alex brings on. I have never felt so educated or aware of what is going on with my body/health. not to mention alex is an incredible interviewer and has the best questions. best ads and I buy almost everything she promotes haha.

br68254Thank you Alex!It is truly impossible to express how much this podcast changed my life. I started listening to Alex after I had my baby last year when I started trying to work through challenges with breast milk supply and addressing my overall health. Her episode on homemade formula and many others have transformed my views on health and I have this confidence that I can make changes for the better and make the right decisions for my baby. This is a must listen for anyone who wants to become their best selves and arm themselves with information to make the right decisions for their family.

Mariivy18My favorite podI’m currently obsessed learning everything about health and this is one of the best podcasts to help with that. Alex is funny and real. I love her honestly even if I sometimes don't agree with it. I appreciate that she asks the hard questions and that she gets to the point. I’m a working mom and don’t have time to waist.

Meghan MarshControversial topics with backed facts.I first found this podcast through the raw milk discussion and the topic of chemicals being sprayed on our crops. As an agriculturalist with an M.S. in Animal Science, I was intrigued—and because of the resources her guests provide, I’ve actually changed my opinion on a lot of things. I’m still very much pro-agriculture, but I’ve become more aware of the fact that we need to do better for our farmers—many of whom have been pigeonholed by government systems. I really appreciate that she brings on such a diverse group of individuals, and the majority of them reference resources so you can fact-check for yourself. It’s not just opinions being thrown around. I also love that her guests aren’t afraid to call out the flaws in our current system—they speak boldly, and that’s refreshing.

JesiGLove this show!Every guest is top notch! Love Alex as a host! Listen every week!

Flora’s ReviewsCulture Apothecary is truly a life-changing podcastAlex is an incredible host whose work I’ve admired since she launched Poplitics in 2019, and Culture Apothecary has only deepened that respect. This podcast is packed with valuable insights on health and wellness, and it’s helped me transform my lifestyle in powerful ways. One of the most impactful changes I made—thanks to Alex and her community—was quitting birth control pills. I had gained over 60 pounds while on them, and after quitting, I was finally able to shed that weight and feel like myself again. That alone was life-changing. Through the show, I’ve also discovered amazing clean-living products I wouldn’t have found otherwise, like Zebra’s deodorants, Cowboy Colostrum’s unflavored colostrum, Masa’s cobanero chips, Adel’s lip conditioner with hyaluronic acid, and Garnuu’s tampons. These kinds of recommendations have helped me make more informed, intentional choices about what I put in and on my body. I highly recommend Culture Apothecary to anyone looking to live a more organic, toxin-free life supported by high-quality foods and wellness products. It’s an empowering and inspiring listen every time.

HannahBelle0707MY FAVORITE PODCASTAlex is so genuine and so funny. Between her amazing personally and the topics she covers, this podcast is unmatched. I love that this podcast is all about HEALING a sick culture and exposing corruption. Not only does is it target mental and physical healing, it shares the TRUTH about spiritual healing and wholeness as well. Thankful I can listen to this podcast having peace that what I hear will honor the Lord. I FREAKIN LOVE YOU ALEX!

Supboo22MehThe host is good at interviewing, but she’s pretty unhinged and if you disagree with her, prepare for her wrath. Oh, also, she can do no wrong and is also never wrong. She really needs to work on herself rather than saying it’s just her personality and who she is. Considering she calls herself a Christian, she should know better and try better.
-
SRHHPALNGenuinely fun and interestingI’m not sure if I’ve ever reviewed a podcast before but I genuinely enjoy Alex’s podcast so much. At first glance I did not expect much, but she has surprised me at her competency & values. I love learning from all of the interesting guests and Alex is truly a fun, charming interviewer.

Jcardjr03Favorite podcastI love this podcast! All of the episodes are a perfect length and very informative. I catch myself retelling each episode to my husband at the end of the day. I also love the variety of episodes. There’s an episode that may resonate with everyone! All in all a great listen

Shane’s wellness journeyIntegral part of my wellness journey!I am certain that I don’t fit the typical demographic for this show, but I absolutely love it. I listen religiously (and I am an atheist) to this show on my daily walks. Alex is amazing and I love her energy, as well as her willingness to bring on guests she may disagree with on occasion. So much to learn. This is absolutely one of my favorite, if not my #1, podcasts and I listen to a lot of them.
-
Hola26Eye OpeningI love the variety that this podcast offers and I find valuable information in almost every episode because it covers so many topics I care about. As a woman struggling with infertility I have devoured all the episodes on this subject. The episode with Dr Karen Becker was incredibly eye opening and has prompted me to review my dog’s diet and care. Thank you Alex and keep up the good work!

No_comment14Interesting, informative. Also makes me feel like I can’t do anything w/o getting a rare diseaseI can’t decide if I like the podcast overall. I think I like it more than dislike it. I’ll say this, if I use scented anything it’s gonna be trash bags. Don’t tell me they’ll give me mesothelioma

-
Becky Lynn OsborneI want to love it but can’tOkay I absolutely love the holistic side of things but it’s far too political for me to listen to. I tend to stay far away from politics but everything keeps coming back to Trump and conservatives to be the answer to everything and it’s hard to listen to. If I wanted to listen to something political I would just turn on the news. Super disappointing!
-
Go Diego Go!!I enjoy the pod!I really like Alex and her guests a lot, but lately I’ve been finding it hard to give her enough credibility when she states she doesn’t work out or eat enough. I know that this is a learning curve for everyone but it makes it difficult for me.
-
ReynoldsS17ParasitesI so appreciate the light you shed on the sickness of our culture that so often goes under the radar. I’ve been seeing more and more about parasites in the body and parasite cleanses/detoxes but research is like trying to drink from a fire hose. I would love to listen to an episode on this topic and gain some insight from an expert!
-
17schrihChanged my lifeAlex has changed my life!! Love her podcast!!

Mirmaid94Literally God spoke. The most recent episode with Dr. Nina-Marie felt like an answered prayer. I’ve had literally almost every single nutrient deficiency that was brought up in this episode. My husband and I recently miscarried and have felt at a loss. Now I feel like I have a great starting point to heal my body & safely carry in the future. Thank you for a fantastic episode!

AshleyYbarra112When “Trendy” Becomes Life Threatening: A Review of the Gluten-Free SegmentI’m a big fan of Alex‘s work and her engaging personality shines through in every show she does. The dirty secrets of chain restaurants episode with Chef Andrew Gruel was incredibly interesting and informative. However, I have a significant concern regarding Chef Gruel’s story about the gluten-free request at his restaurant. As someone with a severe, anaphylactic gluten allergy, (though not diagnosed with celiac), I found his anecdote deeply troubling. I understand the frustration with people who treat gluten-free as a ‘trendy’ diet, but his reaction seemed dismissive and potentially dangerous. The fact that he mistakenly purchased the bread containing gluten, despite a customer’s request, is a major oversight. While the customer in his story, fortunately didn’t have a reaction, for many of us, gluten exposure can be life-threatening. I’m tired of the lack of seriousness surrounding gluten allergies, and stories like this only contribute to the problem. While I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the episode, this particular segment left a very concerning impression. I hope Chef Gruel and others in the restaurant industry will take gluten allergies more seriously in the future, regardless of whether someone has a formal Celiac diagnosis or not.

lzhobbsBest Podcast EVER!!!Soooo I’m really late to leave a review…I’m really special and didn’t know how 😂🤦🏻♀️ I FINALLY looked up how to do it so now I’m here! Let me just say that Alex Clarke is the most entertaining person so listen to while she is also explaining some of the most important things ever that we need to learn. She asks the best questions and covers it all! I am so grateful I found this podcast. I’ve been listening since she was the chicken nugget princess so I’ve been on the journey to wellness with her. It has helped me and my family heal and become so much healthier! I absolutely LOVE HER and all the different aspects of wellness she covers! Please listen to this podcast! I cannot say enough good things about it! I PROMISE YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

flmbmllnRight wing propagandaI had to turn it off when the guest said that Trump never lies.

Mary.EliasHot girls listen to Culture Apothecary! If you’ve ever stared at a grocery aisle like it’s a multiple-choice test you didn’t study for, this podcast is your cheat sheet. No I’m so serious, Alex and her guests have been more than beneficial when it comes to learning about nutrition and non toxic beauty and household products. If you’re curious about why MAHA is all the rage or just ready to take charge of your health, Alex serves up the meat and potatoes (minus the fluff) in every episode. She’s an incredible interviewer who gets straight to the good stuff— no time wasted, all wisdom gained. I drive 3 hours every other week to get my raw milk + healthy groceries, and most of the time this podcast is what’s keeping me company on my drives. If I could give ten stars, I’d throw in an extra one for good measure!
