Exactly what I was searching for!
Absolutely loved episode 12! I was hoping to approach BLW this time with more purpose, but couldn’t find the information I was looking for, after listening to episode 12 (the 7 best first food for baby) I now have even more confidence to start babe off on the right foot with whole foods. I have one question and maybe you can answer it with a piggyback episode... What are your favorite ways to prepare the 7 first foods? Thank you for all you do and the information you are putting out here for your fellow holistic, crunchy mama. Warmly, Kaley.

    I LOVE this podcast!!
I stumbled upon this podcast one day when I was trying to learn more about baby led-weaning. Since then I have listened to every episode at least once, bought Alyssa’s course, and changed the whole idea I had about how I was going to feed my baby. I am so happy that I found this and invested in the course. I think Alyssa does a great job about presenting the information in a nonjudgmental, easy to understand, and informative way. 10/10 recommend!!! I have shared this podcast with so many of my friends and family. 🧡

    Learning tons!!
Loving learning from this sweet mamma and putting into practice the tips and tricks for my twins and toddler! So far I have no picky eaters and am comforted knowing I’m doing my best to nourish them and foster a love for good foods. Definitely worth listening.

    The Perfect Balance
This podcast was just what I was looking for! We did BLW with our first son, and always felt like something was “missing” in the information we were finding and following on BLW since everything else about our lifestyle trends towards a holistic and wellness approach. Even after listening to the first episode, I felt like this was just what I needed! We are just starting BLW with our second son, and I feel empowered and more confident this go around. Thanks for this amazing resource!

    Genuine, knowledgeable and truly cares
Alyssa is amazing!!! I can’t say enough about her, her course & this podcast! She has done SO much research so we don’t have to! The knowledge she shares is amazing, and being her authentic amazing self is even better. She is genuine and authentic and I can tell she truly cares about the people and families she teaches. I appreciate every single thing she says, even if it challenges my current beliefs I use it and look into it more! Thank you so much!

A much needed voice in the BLW weaning world
I have dealt with a whole host of gut issues in my life, and transformed the ingredients I put into my body over the last three years…so when the time came for my baby to start solids, I felt a huge sense of responsibility to set her up for success. I knew I wanted to do BLW weaning but couldn’t find any guidance on how to do BLW in a more holistic, balanced, and healthy way. Finally, I found Alyssa and her Instagram and podcast. She offers valuable insights, research-backed info, and easy ways to start your baby on the right foot. Highly enjoy her content!

    Thorough and Informative
Love how much more in depth she goes with baby led weaning compared to most other authors! Great resource.

    Insightful, informative + inspiring!
As a pediatric speech-language pathologist who specializes in feeding and who is holistic minded in her own health and wellness (+ planning for pregnancy soon!) this podcast provides succinct information on BLW that is practical and realistic to implement (even for me to suggest to families that I work with). She uses language that can be easily understood and provides examples that are easy to follow. Looking forward to practice these tips with my own children in the future!

    Why aren’t there more?
Felt like I was left with more questions after each podcast like there wasn’t enough information. Alyssa just repeats information other people already give. Her page isn’t unique in any way, I don’t understand the hype. As parents we’re just doing our best and I feel like she parent shames a lot like giving our kid one bad food is going to lead them down a road of unwellness. 2022 should be about not buying into wellness fads like this one.

    Not sure what to think…
I’m surprised she’s made it this far. I’m sorry to those who spent money on this course. My RD friends aren’t impressed she’s handing out nutrition advice and quite frankly, is borderline unethical. Supplement use in adults is one thing but choosing to give your kid a supplement for the sake of “protective nourishment” is just asinine. No need to complicate nutrition any further than it already is.

    It’s not really that special
Listened to a few episodes to try and get an idea of what to expect from the course before I wanted to invest. The information isn’t really new with BLW, at least compared to other accounts. I feel like the holistic addition tends to make information less friendly and makes it more expensive. As someone with a past eating disorder, seeing and hearing comments around eating “less than ideal” foods or “clean foods only” is super triggering and it makes me wonder what kind of impact this will have on our children long-term. Sure, they’ll be eating healthy but will that turn into an obsession that leads to an unhealthy relationship with food? I think some information needs to be revisited and changed. Also, not make the only resource available be an expensive course from someone who hasn’t had it peer reviewed or verified. Just my two cents on this.

    Start from episode one!
I am a first time mom and this is a great podcast to learn about introducing foods to my baby. I didn’t know where to start and feel a lot more confident even after a few episodes. They are the perfect length for busy seasons and it’s all the research I wish I had time to do smashed into a podcast. I only wish there were even more to listen to!

    Amazing Podcast
Alyssa is AMAZING! She is so knowledgeable about nutrition and what to feed your little ones! She also brings up a lot of things I have never heard of before! Anyone who doesn’t think a more holistic way of living is beneficial, is obviously still asleep. I feel so much better with the knowledge I get from listening to Alyssa. Every parent should listen to this podcast.
