    I tried listening to one episode about alcohol and anxiety and could barely get through 5 minutes. I felt like the host was reading off of Wikipedia and was so focused on quitting alcohol because it was a trend. Don’t waste your time. You’re better off googling or YouTubing

    I love Dr. Lisa’s podcast. She’s kind and empathetic, and totally gets it. She gets the negative self-talk and focus on physical manifestations of anxiety. But she also bring an honest, lovingly-firm, and practical voice for helping me get out of my head. Listening to her as helped me multiple times when I’m bordering on a panic attack. Thank you for helping so many people.

    I just recently downloaded the podcast app and was searching for awhile on podcast for anxiety. I happen to run across Dr.Lisa Cortez podcast and just fell in love with it. It was to the point but also calm and relaxing just hearing what needs to be heard!!! It helped me understand and think more into my anxiety of things I would of NEVER thought of. I instantly followed her podcast and can’t wait to hear more!!!!!

    Best Podcast EVER! Seriously!
    Dr.Lisa is always so real, calm and honest! Her Techniques and insights have helped me completely change the way I see my anxiety + the help of working with my own therapist. I have been using these techniques for over a few weeks and I’ve never been more confident that I have control over my brain! I can not thank her enough for this podcast! I’d recommend her to anyone struggling with Anxiety and Panic Attacks! It takes time and discipline but it will truly change you!

    Hey y’all, I thought I would check out a podcast for the first time and I searched anxiety and came across this podcast. I listened to one episode and I really enjoyed it. I feel like I came across this for a reason, I have been suffering from deliberating, anxiety and panic attacks for over 18 years to the point that I cannot drive a vehicle, so I hope with each week I get more insight and that I am able to get back to a better normal life soon and I’m excited to call myself a podcaster now lol and enjoy what’s to come!

    I stumbled across your podcast a few months or so ago & I was immediately attracted to your calm voice. It was of safety and knowledge. When my anxiety is at its highest I listen to your podcasts over and over again. At night when my mind is racing, I play an episode to hear your calm voice & to feel reassured by your knowledge. I would love to hear you do a podcast around working in a toxic environment where your anxiety is triggered. Also when a “safe space “ is no longer a safe space but that person is family & older. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge for free. You are greatly appreciated & look forward to hearing more of your calm voice in the podcasts.

    Highly recommend to people who are just starting the healing journey!
    I just started listening to this podcast and I can’t say how much clarity it has brought into my life. I just finished freshman year of college and in this past semester I’ve had anxiety and panic attacks due to stress and being overwhelmed. Even though my family is really supportive and kind, it’s nice to listen to someone who understands exactly what I’m feeling. And of course, it’s really great knowing I’m not alone, & that these feelings can be soothed. So, if you don’t know a lot about anxiety or you’re new to this all, I highly recommend this podcast.

    I was searching through the podcasts and I stumbled on this thought I’d give it a try. It’s by far the clearest and the most succinct podcast on anxiety. The doctor gets right to the point on a lot of issues. The episodes are short but that’s good. I find myself taking notes and I’m ready for more. Really really happy I found this!

    I started struggling with severe anxiety after a event in my life and this podcast is one of the biggest reasons I’ve healed so much. It wasn’t always easy but Dr. Lisa provides tons of great and useful knowledge that definitely works. Learning not to fear anxiety along with journaling and meditation are some of the greatest take aways that made the biggest difference when I started practicing them. This podcast is miraculous because I’m living a life that I didn’t think I could live anymore.

    This is the best podcast I have come across thus far on the topic of anxiety. I am a mental health practitioner myself and have been dealing with unmanageable anxiety over the last year or so.     It’s good.
    Dr. Cortez always seems distracted I love how she relates to the people listening. But she is always distracted and then just hard to understand her point when she is always rambling on. She tells very good stories and helping you connect you connect but when she’s telling the stories she says “Um” and rambles and it’s really hard to hear the point you have to constantly skip through those parts. Overall it’s a good podcast but Dr. Cortez really needs to focus.

    I am so glad to have found this podcast! I just found it yesterday and I already have listen to so many episodes! The host Lisa makes you feel at peace and calm as well as hopeful for the future of life with less anxiety. Most importantly for me I felt normal for having anxiety and a lot of things I have sought out in my life to help either leave me feeling out of touch or abnormal and this podcast was very refreshing to find for someone who has relentlessly struggled with anxiety!

    Started listening to Dr. Lisa Cortez when I was having minor, situational anxiety, and so glad I did. She’s given me lots of tools and teachings to help me ground myself. I love that her show makes it seem as if she is talking to us (her audience) one on one. Wish I would’ve found this podcast earlier, but glad I found it when I did.

    I feel Dr. Lisa connects with so many areas of my own personal anxiety. She has helped me tremendously understand more about it and how to get better. I listen to her while walking and it has been so beneficial and I am so thankful I found her!

    Not Recommend-Difficult to Get Through
    I really wanted to like this podcast but it is hard to get through. Dr. Cortez seems distracted, uncomfortable, unsure and lost when recording these podcasts. She saids “um” countless times throughout and it’s irritating. I found myself skipping forward quite a bit just to get to the conclusion of her episode or end of her thoughts.
