The Desi Crime Podcast brings DESI crimes. From India, Pakistan, Nepal and other brown communities, we’ll bring you cases that can only be described as Desi. best podcast ever
all i can say is it’s just amazing, i mean the storytelling, the acknowledgement of the victims absolutely everything and finding a platform that brings cases from areas where they are otherwise is amazing!!!
  • Hessie84
I really loved this until today
I find insulting a mothers parenting style when it really has nothing to do with a young girl being murdered by a vile, disgusting man, so unbelievably offensive. I won’t be listening to this podcast anymore. You should be truly ashamed of yourselves.

So glad I found a desi crime podcast
Newbie to this podcast!! I’m a huge true crime podcast junkie and I only stumbled on this cause I ran out of episodes on my regular shows but I’m glad this happy coincidence happened. Love Aishwarya’s narration and Aryaan’s reactions 😂 Just a suggestion: some of the episodes end very abruptly so I’m left wondering if I missed something. But other than that a really good listen

    Recommended Desi Dose of Crime
I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for information on a crime story and I am glad I found this podcast. Great take on the crime stories, crisp content. Keep doing the great job 20 something year olds!! :)

    Amazing podcast, but one request
This is one of the best crime podcasts for crime bingers. I love your storytelling! However, I have a request. It will probably be overlooked but still. As someone coming from Kolkata, I must say you pronounce Kolkata wrong. Unfortunately, most do. :( The tip I would like to give you is: Think about how Santa says, “Ho, Ho, Ho”. Then change the H to K, and that is the actual pronunciation of the “Ko”part of Kolkata. Also, it is same as the “Ko” pronunciation in Kozhikode. 😐

Good podcast, wish it was more accessible
I’m an Indian American who enjoys this podcast but I don’t speak Hindi and the lack of translation is really frustrating - if you want to expand your base, this is going to be very limiting.

    Big fan
Prior to finding out about this podcast, I was a huge Bollywood fan and a true crime fan, so imagine my surprise when I find this awesome podcast! I love it!!!! It’s also so interesting to hear about crimes most of the other standard true crime podcasts don’t discuss.

    Jesus Aishwarya
Came across this podcast few weeks back, love true crime and love desicrime. Great storytelling and buildup. Needless to say, I binge-listened to all the episodes so far. You know the Chai and Cheethi episode is good when Aaryan’s reaction is “Jesus Aishwarya” during Aishwarrya’s narration. All love!! 🫡✌️🫶🏻

    Love it!
I get bored with a lot of true crime podcasts but this one holds my attention. They do a great job of making sure their story isn’t sensationalized and the victims are respected.
  • PritikaM87
    Love them
Live the podcasts. They have my attention throughout! Also just wanted ed to ask about a case where a young girl was killed on New Year’s Eve? Any breakthroughs ?
  • MTMT2020
    Phenomenal story telling
Love each and every episode. Eesha and Aryan remind me of my own school friends back in Pakistan and makes me nostalgic for good ol’ days.

    Welcome back & Congratulations!
I’m so glad you guys are back!! The moment I came across your podcast I binged it. Literally. Only to realize dammit you are not uploading new episodes hahaha I should have paced myself. But yay you’re back!! Also, Super proud as an OCI person, who cannot stop spreading your podcast with all of my friends and coworkers. You both do an amazing job of bringing my beautiful south east to light and limelight and the stories. We have cases that would give some of the infamous western seriel killers run for their money lol. Thanks kids and SUPER proud of your independence. Keep it going! Avid fan here.

I was always interested in true crime and by listening to this podcast, I’m in love with this genre. The hosts - Aaryan and Aishwarya- are amazing at the work they are doing. From accumulating the resources for every case to keeping the audience engaged, they are doing a phenomenal work.

    Unparalleled story telling
I started listening to true crime with OGs like MFM and crime junkie. Once I was caught up with them, I decided to try the desi crime podcast. I binged this podcast in three weeks. Aryaan and Aishwarya’s vocabulary, tonality, arrangement of a crime’s timeline beat my OG favs to the point I’m no longer interested in western crime anymore. These guys were born to be true crime podcasters. Well done and I hope you guys continue forever.

Great storytelling and good research on everything!
These two youngsters have done such an incredible job of informing the listeners about crimes and all details surrounding them, without fear mongering or making it scary. It’s just very informative and once in a while historical learning too! I enjoy listening to your show while commuting to work. Always look forward to your new episodes. Keep up the good work!

Aishwarya is legit our very own Ashley Flowers! Love listening to her and Aryaan’s voice is so soothing. He even makes the most gruesome crimes seem bearable. Keep up the good work y’all! ♥️♥️♥️

    Amazingly addictive!
I got hitched since the Burari case. I listened all ur previous episodes then. I remember quite distinctly, I was on my apartment terrace walking - as it was covid time so we all were confined to our apartments. I was done with watching content and I stumbled upon the Desi Crime. I must say the podcast is simply amazing!

    Real meaning of Binge
Every episodes of desi crime makes me believe that desi crime podcast is the best in the market. I have listened to other podcast as well. But when it comes to the quality, the amount of research and the way they both deliver the interaction during show is really mind blowing. Amazing guys, keep rocking. Exactly what you’re looking for
Honestly I don’t know where to start this review. I started watching this podcast with the Bikini Serial Killer. I had been searching for a true crime podcast since forever and somehow this was the perfect podcast for me. Not only was it true crime, it was also an Indian true crime, and on top of that it was in English. After Bikini Serial Killer it took me maybe a day or two to binge on the other podcasts uploaded already and was completely hooked to it. Not long after when I moved back to California I also made my roommates listen to it and like that they got hooked to it too. Currently we just count data between every Friday just to hear the new podcast.

The best true crime podcast in the world!!
I am absolutely hooked on this true crime podcast from the day Burari case! The hosts are fantastic at weaving together the details of each case and bringing it to life in a way that is both engaging and informative. Their research is thorough and their storytelling is compelling, making it impossible to stop listening once you've started. Aishwarya and Aaryan, you really did outdone all the others in the market. I only listen to your podcast and crime junkie, the 2 OGs of True crime podcast world. I have tried several other podcasts but none can come even an inch closer to the narration or story telling like you guys do, keeps me on the edge of the seat every time I listen to DesiCrime. Thank you for creating this gem and hope you continue to keep me and several others on the edge of the seat.

Just like Mirzapur, “shuru majboori mai kiye thei lekin ab mza aa rha hai”. Being a graduate student at MI too, started listening to you guys while doing homework assignments but now you have totally got my full attention and I eagerly wait for new episodes to come on every Friday. Such a inspiration is this podcast.

    Engaging stories and awesome hosts
I'm new to the true crime genre, and starting with Desi Crime podcasts has ruined me for all the others. I love Aryaan and Aishwarya's dynamic. They highlight important issues like corruption and gender-based violence in a way that manages to be simultaneously engaging, informative, and reflective. A must listen!

Awesome for non-Desi and Desi Alike
This is an A podcast. As an American, I am totally enthralled by the world of true crime beyond our borders, and there’s no better podcast out there for global true crime. The stories are absolutely riveting. I also love how the hosts are such great writers. I sense some rule of three, varying sentence length, vivid details, and original metaphors. True masters of their craft!
  • RobinLetise
    Great podcast
I came across this podcast after it was advertised on another show I regularly listen to. I live in the United States and it’s interesting to hear stories I have never heard before that have happened on the other side of the world. The hosts are great story tellers and really draw you in. I will definitely listen each week.

Well Told and Fills Much Needed Niche
As an avid crime podcast listener, this is one of the best ones I’ve heard and much needed. It fills a niche in the crime world, for a region filled with crimes that need to come alive publicly but often fail to gain any international or even regional recognition. Thanks both, for creating this podcast and doing the immense research that goes into your very well told narratives.

    Great Story Tellers!
I love this podcast! I got the opportunity to visit India 🇮🇳 in February and March of 2020 and fell in love with the country. The two hosts are great story tellers! ❤️
  • BrownBoyPodcast
    Best Indian True Crime Podast
I have heard so many true crime podcasts, and some Indian ones too. The few other Indian podcasts are so bland and politically charged. It’s more opinions and less research and stories. THIS, however, is well researched, and stories that keep you hooked till the very end. Kudos to both Aryaan and Aishwarya. Thank you for doing brown folks’ stories justice in such a fashionable manner.
