I used to love Givi, her research, and presentation, but it ms not the same. Her association with trash so-called journalists such as Banfield .makes me question her authenticity and ability to distinguish fact from fiction.

I really appreciate your concise and timely reports from legal sources as the cases develop. It’s been hard to find a podcast covering the latest big cases accurately without a lot of extraneous commentary.

Used to be really good

This used to be just about my favorite podcast. Now GiGi basically just reads court documents. I know things have changed now that she’s become a “star” but I really miss the old long form content. I guess that doesn’t pay the bills though.

Best Fact Based/Victim Centered Podcast

Gigi is the best at sticking to facts only & never gets lost in speculation nation. I truly appreciate & respect that about her. Love that she gives us the extra/interesting facts like what Chad’s life will be like on death row. Gigi is great at staying focused on the victims & I think that’s so important bc it’s easy to shift focus on defendant/court proceedings. Keep up the amazing work Gigi!

I admit that I took a break between Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell’s trial listening to this podcast. There is definitely less coverage on this case, which is understandable given that this trial is being broadcast live. Most of us listening to this podcast work and don’t have time to listen to the trial in its entirety, hence why we are here. The ads seem to be more frequent and disturbingly some are for vape type products, with some type of disguise as they are able to help people stop smoking. From what I understand the FDA has not approved these as smoking or nicotine cessation products. Please, stop the equivalent of cigarette ads of the 1950’s and Joe Camel of the 1980’s, so we are no longer fueling an industry of products that continue to kill thousands of people daily.

I loved hearing all the updates with the Murdaugh trial, and I love how she goes in depth with all her episodes. I love that she is doing the crash courses with the Lori Vallow case! Favorite podcast

I love this podcast. My only complaint is that when I first started listening, we were doing a deep dive into Ellen Greenberg. I was riveted! But then a new case came along (Kaitlyn Armstrong) and she says we’d revisit and continue Ellen later on. But then Dan Markel’s case came back into the news and Ellen was forgotten. Deep dives are glorious things and GiGi does a wonderful job. I appreciate the humor and focus on the victims.

Disappointed

This used to be my favorite podcast however I've noticed the quality lessen significantly over the past year. The podcasts have shortened in length and half of that are ads. My main issue is that cases & topics aren’t completed or she doesn’t follow thought what she said she would on-she just drops speaking on the completely. Like discussing her prison contact. Or when Gigi said she was going to do a series on people on death row. She stopped doing podcasts on Donna and Charli wire taps without warning. And there aren’t consistent, daily podcasts. There are just tidbits of random case updates sprinkled here and there. Like she’s lost interest or a desire. I just miss the old passion and consistency.

Confused and Disappointed

This used to be my favorite podcast, mostly because of GiGi. Her case coverage was well researched and thorough, and she was a pleasure to listen to. Over the past 6+ months, however, her episodes have been shorter and shorter. Wagner and Vallow were hour episodes nearly everyday, and this was before sponsorships. Now episodes barely clock in at 20 minutes, and this includes ads. Episodes also feel rushed and forced. And for the life of me I can’t understand why there is no talk of Chad Daybell, a penalty case that has gripped the nation and stems from a case GiGi actually attended. The trial starts in two days, and rather than devoting episodes to Scott Peterson, a recap/refresher on the Daybell case seems like a no-brainer. Easily a week’s worth of content. It’s a missed opportunity that doesn’t make any sense and seems out of character. GiGi is the best at what she does if her hearts in it, which doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

This is such a great podcast if you want detailed information like jailhouse phone calls or the key takeaways from a trial, and you don’t have the time to sit through all of it. Gigi does an amazing job of getting the information and distilling it down to the timeframe that is accessible for most humans. Gigi has a spunkiness and personality that makes this podcast so enjoyable to listen to.

Just discovered this podcast. It has quickly risen to the top of my True Crime list. I get excited when I see a new episode in my feed! I am obsessed with the Markel-Adelson case and this podcast does a great job of covering it. Lots of current and in-depth coverage.

Excellent Background on the Markel Case

I particularly like that you are sharing some of the more “normal” (not case related) wiretaps. I am fascinated by these characters and their ability to just get on with life post murder plot - that is until it all comes crashing down. Knowing what we all know now, listening to these early wiretaps is, quite frankly, delicious! If any of them have any self awareness (perhaps prison will bring it forth) how it must absolutely destroy them to think that, you know, maybe we didn’t have to murder someone. Also enjoy how smart they think they are - when obviously they are bad at this. Thank you for a great podcast. I know there is much more to come and I’m here for it!

Enjoying this very much

I started here and there, but really zoned in on the cyclist Mo Wilson and then the Adelsons. Loving her in-depth coverage here, which I haven’t seen elsewhere. She goes directly to transcripts so you are getting accurate information. I’m also starting to appreciate her updates- she stays on top of things. Love seeing her on Banfield, and thought she did outstanding during the AM trial, which I watched every day. I plan to keep listening.

Gets right to the point!

Gigi is awesome 🙌🏼 very knowledgeable and detailed in her research breaks down timelines. I like that she is genuine authentic and gives us a little of her home life which for me I can relate especially when she comments that her kids are having to find clean clothes- Lol bc she’s giving her time to all these cases. She was a guest on another podcast that I was following and now she’s my favorite.

Shorter but Still Good

Update - still love Gigi but her episodes have become shorter and less frequent, almost like she needs to squeeze in ads? Hopefully she can find a new balance between different types of content, and eventually return to the extensively researched stories that were so compelling before.
