Definition & Drivers of Economical Inequalities
Loaded with nonsensical hot air we have heard from the Wall Street’s so called leaders on free markets??? There has never been a shred of free markets anywhere! Mr Marks should listen to this podcast to get the definition and impact of government take over by businesses and profits of a few billionaires and the rigged systems put in place to keep them happily in business tax free leading to the highly manipulated and fail-proof businesses/markets for the past century and more… Neither presidential candidates have expressed a viable economical plan to really address the economical cancer of our times, exuberant cost of all insurances & healthcare! Both at the brink of massive failures. Not discussed in any context so far. Housing cost is a direct reflection of this selective economical progress. Rigged zoning and permit planing to keep the inventories low for higher profits! It is not rocket science people!!! There needs to be a real change of thinking or else accepting what is and the consequences of total systematic collapse once the AI tools are in place to get it done with efficiency. 🧻🧻🧻

    Monday quarterback marks
Howard thinks theres value in broad market and youre a dummy if you sell. Hes right but in a boring way cause he doesnt explain the mechanism (inflation) that makes it so... central banks hate you if you have net worth less than 100 million.

Can be at times a little dry
The podcast is in my humble opinion is full of insight and wisdom but occasionally can be a little dry I hope to glean tidbits of valuable information for years to come

    Masterpiece
Howard’s missives on “Easy Money”, or “Sea Change”, for example are worth their weight in gold. Just finished his Easy Money and took 6 pages of notes. Thank you Howard

    One of the Best
Marks embodies the epitome of common sense. To listen to him is to learn from 50+ years of market experience that few have. He compares and contrasts market realities with ease. I’ve read his memos for years and they have made me a better investor. No one else has his style and track record. We are long term Investors in Oaktree and he consistently makes the smart decisions.

    Thanks Howard!
Howard Mark’s memos are a must read for all investors! Warren Buffet is reported to have said they are the first thing he reads when he gets one in his inbox. Howard’s insights come out every few months and help provide investors with a context for what is happening in the economy. Informed and second level thinkers know that his memos provide value and give one a better sense of where we are in the market cycle.

    Really great podcast
I love Howard Marks memos, however my reading time during the week is limited as I’m in a major city and commute via car. Podcasts have become a daily staple to my drive. I’m eagerly anticipating what further episodes will bring!

Great to see the memos in Podcast form
I used to read Howard’s memos on a regular basis and stopped due to time restrictions, but have more time for podcasts. Again, good to see the transition to the medium.
