    Thrilled to find this pod!
During my maddening 3-month crash course in what happens to women in menopause, one source for trustworthy and often deep learning has been Hack My Age. I love that Zora brings astonishingly smart, highly educated, funny experts — mostly women naturally — to an audience that’s been disrespected by mainstream medicine, some for more than 2 decades. The show’s range of issues is impressive. And because her guests provide current accurate quality knowledge, listeners don’t need to worry they’ll hear someone spouting outdated or just wrong information that’s more about avoiding liability than helping people live with health and joy. She’s also got strategies and resources to find practitioners, products and communities. Based partially on her clear enthusiasm, I may have finally found my doctor!

    What a find!
I stumbled upon Zora mid-2024 when researching my gut issue. Not only did I find a super podcast discussing it, I’ve since learned all kinds of important things. For instance, I upped my protein to coincide with strength training and wanting to get stronger as I age (no sarcopenia!) Yet I didn’t know how important essential amino acids are and that I need to be taking them. (Listen to episode 235.) Just one of several things… loving this podcast, thanks Zora!

    Great Podcast
I love Zora Podcast as they are short with great practical tips, useful ideas and details.

    Educational but…
When I first found this, I thought it was just what I wanted —science based info on maximizing post menopause health and wellness. But after listening to a couple of episodes, I realized that Zora’s guests are selling products— and expensive ones at that. And the problem with science being explained by people selling something is the possibility of bias having influenced their lab results, the statistical analysis they used to assess their results, or how they spin the science behind their product. So I need to listen while keeping in mind that these guests’ claims may be highly skewed by their desire to get purchases from us listeners. That doesn’t automatically mean the info is wrong or the products don’t work, but it is a fact that where bias is in play, you have to be careful. Bottom line- I feel baited and switched, expecting unbiased information and receiving a thinly disguised sales pitch.

Much needed podcast on much needed topic
The transition to menopause can be lonely and confusing. Conversations like this can be so helpful in making one feel that they are not alone and that their experience is normal. I also follow the host on Instagram where she interviews women all over the world about their menopause experience. I get so much comfort from the much needed community she has created around this topic! Thank you so much for creating this space ❤️.

    What happened?
I was really enjoying your interview with JJ and right in the middle it switched to a coaching session with somebody. One time I listened and all I could hear was the guest answering and not you. 😫

    Grateful
To have women helping women at all ages of life. So much of media is about 18-35 year olds. After that it feels like women retract and hide. “Feels like”. But so many women thrive after 40 or 50 and these podcasts show us it possible. So much positivity and helpful advice.

Cholesterol Myths and Truths with Dr Alo
I listened to this review as I believe in order to make informed decisions its important to consider all sides of an discussion. This was more of a pro-stain position, which honestly goes against what I have been reading. But to me that’s ok as it’s all about learning. The one thing I appreciate about Zora is she isn’t trying to sell you something here. She’s presenting one side of things for you to make your own decisions based on your own studies and health needs. Thank you Zora for this one. I learned some important facts, no matter if I follow his advise or not.

Interesting topics for women who knows there must be more to before, during and after menopause. We do not have to let “Mother Nature” take us on a downward spiral to aging. We can age with grace with the knowledge that Zora brings to the podcast interviews.

A well of knowledge for women and anyone curious in aging well
This is a fantastic podcast. I binge listened to so many past episodes and never miss a new one. (And go back on some several times - Leslie, dr Kaufman, Magdalena’s beauty tips). I’m not yet over 50 but I want to be just as vibrant, energetic and curious as Zora and her friends. She invites no nonsense guests with so many insights. She asks questions that make it easy for a non professional ear to digest the info. I’m pretty sure I’ll be listening to this podcast for another 50 years at least.

For women but most of the podcasts are for men slso
Well done podcasts that provide good information to help pursue health and longevity. I have been doing self study of healthy aging for 1-1/2 years and this podcast has brought new longevity ideas that I didn't know. Her guests, Dr. Sandra Kaufmann is one example, are great sources of health - things that you can do or eat or practice. And while the podcast is for women, almost everything applies to men.
