Elyse Welles is a Greek-Egyptian and American earth intuitive Priestess. Initiated in the Faery Tradition & holding an MA focusing on spiritual studies, she is a teacher of the lost Earth Priestess Arts of the Mediterranean, where she hails from. She hosts 3 podcasts, & is an author. Her book on connecting with land spirits was released with Llewellyn in 2025 and a paranormal mystery novel in September 2025. She writes for Witchology and Witch Way Magazine and is the Greece correspondent for the Wild Hunt. She has spoken at conferences such as Hekatefest and the Ancestral Magic Summit. I’ve listened to several episodes and there is very little to no practical information or recipes or specific information on plants, herbs, foods, preparations, etc.

Thoughtful and though provoking!

I love this podcast. The hosts are relatable and full of witchy wisdom that is also very down to earth. As someone without other witchy people on my life, it feels like I have friends chatting with me about all of the magical parts of the world, and this helps to fill a void in my otherwise solitary practice. The podcast content is both thoughtful and though provoking, and affirms for me that my very low-key style of everyday witchcraft is valid and powerful!

It is like talking to a witchy relative

Whenever I recommend the Magick Kitchen to people, I always tell them “It feels like you’re standing in your home talking to 2 of your relatives about the craft.” I think that’s why so many people, including myself, listen to the podcast. We as listeners are not being talked down to, or made to feel like we should know all of this by now. I love the vibe that I get when I listen! It feelings like I stepped in for a family visit and we just got stuck talking about whatever topic comes up about the craft. Elyse and Leandra do a lot of great work! I know many of us appreciate the podcast so much.

Recently stumbled across this podcast when I was doing Ostara research and started binging all the other episodes. Leandra & Elyse share such helpful information on ALL things witchcraft (beyond kitchen magick). Such great perspectives. Perfect episode lengths. And the episodes stay focused on the subject matter. I feel so much more knowledgeable after listening to each episode. Highly recommend to witches of all levels ✨

Authentic, honest, relatable , magickal

This is a perfect combination of spirituality, witchcraft, advice without being preachy, education, and just enough woo. Good witchy and pagan podcasts are tough to find and this one is a MUST. They have great speakers come on to interview, as well. I find myself saving almost every episode so that I can come back to it in the future. Thank you for teaching me! I’m still a baby witch and I crave information that is easy, effective, efficient, elemental, ethical and both of Earthly and ethereal. (See what I did there, lol?)

Educational, Logical, and Empowering

These 2 women put so much time and effort into all the knowledge they share, it’s like their hearts on full display. Not only that, they are all about breaking down misinformation and providing listeners with a true and accurate example of what witches look like, and how they practice their form of spirituality in this world. Their words have inspired me and soothed me on my path of exploration. I’ve become less fearful and more open-minded/kind-hearted because of learning through them. It’s not just the facts they share, it’s how they share them in a fun and personal manner! Look no further for legit witchy education!

Some stuff is very opinionated

For the most part I enjoyed this but I did notice alit of the stuff talked about in the is it safe to work with spirit guides was very much about personal opinions. Most people would disagree that workin with spirits us safe. Its not always dangerous but you can get possessed you can get harmed by certain spirits and deities. Not every deity has to be good. I think you could do a better job of non biased research and reporting.

Not to be cliche, but this podcast changed the game for me with my spirituality. Leandra and Elyse take all of the pressure and pretext away and make you feel like you’re having a warm cup of tea with friends. Exactly what I needed

I just found this podcast and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I love the hosts— they are both so knowledgeable, easy to understand, and they really hit on some of the things I’ve been wanting some clarity on. Also, I love that they aren’t so strict about how to perform rituals/etc, as I’m so turned off by the rigid nature of “religion” in general. I need to feel like what I’m doing is authentic to myself and right now I relate more to learning how to strengthen my intentions and cultivate my own meaningful rituals to manifest the positive results I seek. I appreciate that they provide suggestions and always seem to remind us that we can customize it to our needs/ comfort level. Looking forward to future eps! 😊💜

I have been called to the path since I was a child, however I live and was raised in the Bible Belt and spent 15 years of my life trying to find a lot of information that is shared in this podcast. Hard to listen to

I just tried to listen to this podcast & had to turn it off. They recorded it as if they expected to edit it but didn’t. She was reading through her notes & laughing for no reason & practicing the same lines over and over. It was strange & the irony is that the topic was to discern unprofessional / fake witches. I hope that it was not representative of all their episodes.

These is super info. about energy clearing - just remember!

If you are in touch as a witch you will feel the the right tool to use -to do the job. Listen to the energy coming from your palms ( in my case) and the right energy flow- the space will be filled and all will be right. Blessed be!
