Hard to listen to an Eagles podcast that rips the eagles fans every episode!

Thoroughly enjoy this eagles podcast.

Honest analysis from McMullen. Not cheerleader stuff. I greatly appreciate that as a fan. Some very good guests weekly. The show is a bit long and there’s no real consistent topic schedule but I still love it and listen daily. This show has definitely made me more knowledgeable about football in general. Keep up the good work folks! GO BIRDS!!!!

Some of the best people covering the Eagles in this market. I seem to remember a time when the show was split by topic or guest. Made it easy to go to what was most interesting. Not easy to queue up 2.5 hours and then find what I want. Don’t always have time for 2.5 hours. Was I imagining that?

Brutal delivery from the hosts

I gave four stars mostly due to the fact that Jody Mac is a Philly sports talk legend and I would enjoy listening to him talk about almost anything. Overall the show is mostly decent. Where I get lost is when McMullen and his other ancient peers on the Eagles beat bring their tired, Negadelphia, “Even though I’ve never played a down of football in my life, I know more than the stupid fans because I write about it” act to the show. McMullen says “I say it all the time” at least 5x a show which is basically code for “I’m a know it all and you are dumb.” If you like grumpy old men talking Birds, you’ll be at home here. If you love the Mac Man, you’ll also enjoy. But, McMullen...do me a favor…stop constantly insulting the fan base. The vocal minority doesn’t represent the knowledgeable majority.

Jody you have to get a cohost that respects the fans and doesn’t lump us all with the knuckleheads.

My honest review is this. It’s very informative and gives great insight, HOWEVER. McMullen at times wants to act like he’s always the smartest man in the conversation and some guests (Jeff Kerr) are annoying to listen to every week. Some new voices to listen to would be nice once in a while… but other than all of that. It’s still enjoyable to listen to.

…I always have to continually turn down the volume when Jody starts one of his frequent rants. I don’t enjoy them and it takes away from the show. That’s why it gets a four rather than a five.

Love the podcast and all of the guests. I also appriciate the contributions of Chris Franklin but it is often difficult to understand what he is saying. If he could talk a little louder and slower, and enunciate better it would be helpful.

Jody and John always run a great show! Listening back to Friday’s show and I was rewarded with the greatest, most emphatic F bomb I’ve ever heard. I, too, have placed a bet on the Eagles to win the SB! Thanks for the smile Jody, keep it up.

it’s seems harder than it should be to find a decent listenable podcast about the Eagles. these two old-timers deliver a better show than most. much appreciated.

Great show guys. Very informative. I listen to the Pod while I walk in my development in Marlton. When I retired here from PA 5 years ago I didn’t know it was where all the sports journalists live. Jody Mac I agree with you on Greg Ward, on third down I want the guy that catches 70% of his targets. To paraphrase Buddy Ryan he only catches first downs. His career has paralleled Julian Edelman another QB turned slot receiver. Edelman had his breakout season his third year. Here is to a big year by Ward. The Birds cut Danny Amendola and we saw how that turned out, don’t make the same mistake twice

Really great to have Jody Mac back talking Iggles. Love the show but Jody do me a favor and tell me what the magic 8 ball says!
