Blairbear23Captivating and juicy! Not a history buff but after listening to Edith! I want to dive into her life and learn all I can about Woodrow Wilson. Such a great listen!
-
help-wantedCannot Play!I have QCODE+ but I cannot play any episodes of Edith.
-
melissaannrichmondgarciaFun, feminist listen!Loved this show! š As someone who works in the women in politics space, I appreciated the historical details and modern perspective on Edith Wilson.

rewrwwAbsolute Favorite PodcastThe creators of this podcast absolutely nail the balance between historical storytelling and charming, self-aware humor. I like audio dramas but it seems that they are all in the sci-fi/mystery/crime thriller arena, so this factionalized historical tale, was an amazing change and a real treat. Perfectly written and perfectly acted! I have listened to it twice and regularly check back to see if theyāre doing another season. Perhaps another episode from US history? Please?

Bethc1415Loved itRosamund Pike is a gem. It was a fun ride with Edith, and poignant and sweet and sad at times. Two thumbs up.

letsgobillsCouldnāt Stop!I was re-listening to an episode of of Lovett or Leave It this evening and he played the first episode of Edith! I was hooked from the start- itās funny, engaging, and has a great mix of history and comedy. Itās very different from any other podcast Iāve come across and o hope they make more like it!

Slim Shady's friend AndreOne of my favorites and so unique!Like other reviews have said, this podcast is so unique in the sense that itās the perfect blend of humor and history. The story is super compelling and interesting, while still maintaining the comedy. The voice acting is excellent, especially Rosamund Pike, which should come as no surprise. The script is fast paced and witty, and production wise itās very well done. Love this podcast and would love to see more like it!

88th88mvGreat history drama that feels like non-fiction dramaI was looking for some interesting history podcasts that were not about WWII and that were not super dry. Wow! This one hit the spot! Great acting, great writing, dry humor- I love for Edithās snarky put downs and Trudyās dorky one liners. Hope it goes past nine episodes. Just truly entertaining.

KnuckleheadwifeDonāt skip this one!!Great series!! If you like a little history, with a pinch of drama, and swirl in the comedy, then this is for you. Once wasnāt enough so I played it all twice.
-
MoorekbMust listenAbsolutely enthralling. I adore Rosamund Pike and history, so it seemed obvious I would enjoy the podcast. However, I was blown away by all aspects of it. Well-acted, witty, wonderful.

Mom of 5 and 7 year-oldsTotally entertaining, educational to-bootHilarious, well written, well acted, and well produced. And educational, to-boot. Feels sadly relevant today. My 13 year-old daughter and I listened to it together and loved it.

Audrey is My Spirit AnimalFascinating!I was just going to listen to a quick episode before bed and then couldnāt put it down so-to-speak. Binged the whole thing! Rosamund and Esther are so charming and compelling. Excellent voice work all around including the always-hilarious Stephen Root. 5 stars on the writing and sound design!
-
Mooj58Very entertainingCanāt wait to hear whatās next from the creators.

claire*calhounMehCast is outstanding! Script is not great. Dialogue seems farcical at times. This podcast is too realistic to be a spoof or a satire, but too cheesy and anachronistic to pass as historical fiction. Listened to the whole thing because I have lots of time on my hands, but wouldnāt recommend this one to friends or family.

TildaJeanNeeds to be rewritten by a womanEspecially the friend Trudy whose behavior is prepubescent. It just doesnāt ring true.

Aupair1995NOT AD FREEI started listening because it was listed under āad freeā. Pretty sure none of the podcasts under that are actually ad free. I thought it would be a great way to advertise your podcast. To release a few ad free episodes. But itās just a scam. Premise seems interesting tho. Doesnāt pull you in fast enough in the ten minutes before the second ad tho.

bjohns383TrashItās bad and you should feel bad for having made it

BabshagegCompletely UniqueNever heard a podcast quite like it! A witty, comedic historical fiction

enickel8My Favorite Fictional Podcast to DateBrilliant execution. The journey Edith takes is so compelling that itās honestly a bit jarring when things change. This is a masterclass in how to make an ending thatās not really a twist feel like it is. The cast was fantastic, the story was gripping, and the two together makes me feel like I canāt handle it if there isnāt more. Give me a miniseries, you guys. Please? Edit: I still adore this show, truly, which is why I subscribed to qcode in the first place. Besides listening again to the episodes Iāve already listened to and no ads (which donāt bother me) there are no actual perks. I see no reason to keep subscribing at this point. Is there going to be anything extra that makes the subscription worth it?

FashionandFaithBrilliant!I love this so much! I donāt want it to end! More, please!

Neefer DuirFunny and engaging with a bit of social commentaryEdith Wilson as a young Boomer or old GenX transplanted to 1920 is hilarious, and it is vaguely historical.
-
MAKACBoringThe only boring podcast Iāve heard from Qcode so far.

AMJM1992Well Made and InterestingThis show is interesting, if anachronistic, and incredibly well produced. But some of the hokey voice acting really does me in 𤢠I almost crashed my car when Esther Povitsky was pretending to be drunk, just to stop listening
