    Healing
I am not a pastor but this podcast has been healing for me as I process what has been going on in the church nationally and in my own church. I work in ministry with people in our community experiencing homelessness, and these episodes restore my vision for the church and parachurch ministries. Thank you Ray and Sam!!

    Unnecessary
I am an immigrant who is not allowed to vote. I find it unfortunate that you chose to use your platform and influence to direct people to vote for Harris! It has made it difficult for me to listen to your podcast. The very things you talk about in every episode are blatantly rejected by Harris. The contradiction is hard for me to deal with. It seems hypocritical. It feels like a betrayal. I really hope that TGC is not becoming The Gospel Counterfeit!

    Refreshing, biblical, encouraging
I can’t express how much I love this podcast. In an age of reckoning for evangelicalism - this podcast is an immense encouragement to a discouraged and confused believers.

    Grateful for the Encouragement
Would love to hear more! Thank you, Gentlemen, for your gift to us younger-ish pastors in the field. Touched on many needed topics. I think I’ll listen to them all again!

    So Helpful
This podcast has been great for me as a dad seeking to make much of Jesus in my family in both truth and how things feel for each family member.

    A deep well on encouragement
Getting to listen to Ray, Sam, and now (occasionally) T.J. is like sitting down each week and being mentored by men who love Christ, His church, and her under-shepherds. I’m encouraged and challenged (in the best way) every episode.

    So Good
Listening to these podcasts is a much needed respite from all that comes at us in this day and age. Two men, chosen by God, sharing their hearts in a way that is real, vulnerable, and honest. Great spiritual take-aways and a breath of fresh, loving air in each episode.

Everyone will benefit from this podcast.
Life-giving, gospel saturated conversations that have the potential to completely transform local church culture. Though intended for pastors, their reach goes far beyond that. The depth of humility, Christ-likeness, brotherly love and affection should be admired and emulated. Expect sanctification and don’t be surprised to experience the Spirit move and change you as you listen to this gospel gem! You’ll be compelled to deeply love Jesus and those you interact with after each episode. I cannot recommend this enough!

Helped me take it down a notch
Vulnerable and honest conversations help me stop overthinking all I might be doing wrong and get back to important stuff like loving others and being genuinely used of God. Appreciate these episodes from Haiti.

    Very helpful
This is good stuff. Good to focus on the love & “culture” that the gospel brings. Hope they do more!

The Gospel is the power of God!
I am a young pastor and this podcast is exactly what my soul needs to connect my history with what I read in the Bible about gospel culture. Thank you for producing this podcast! It is helping me focusing on orthodox doctrine AND orthodox emotions.

Each episode feels like a personal letter
Ray & Sam, thank you. As a mid-thirties in-process Acts 29 church planter, I could laugh, cry, and worship after listening to these first six episodes. Here’s why — I could show how each episode has comforted and confirmed a variety of specific aims and intentions for the future church plant. To God be the glory! His kindness through the two of you to my wife and I feels as real as a comforting hand on my back. I’m sure I’m not alone and I hope God continues to use your gospel culture on this platform to advance the Gospel for his glory and our joy. His crown will shine.

    Great Wise Comfort Challenge
Good podcast which provides wisdom, comfort and challenge in a brief format. Rooted in scripture and their experience in pastoring. Enriching.

    Encouraged
If you want to be encouraged in a time that tries to overwhelm you with discouragement and hate. This podcast is a safe haven for your soul. Truth delivered in a gentle/humble way that convicts and returns me to Christ.
  • Bjoifdstjhdtu
THIS is what had been missing!
The biblical explanation of “welcome one another” is so needed in our churches, and the PRACTICE of it! Heavenly Father would you be pleased to make this more common in our church.

    Language to Confusion
One episode in, Ray and Sam put words to something heavy on my heart as I have transitioned a lot in ministry lately. Thank you both and I hope others enjoy!

    B-E-A-UTIFUL!
I have been excited about this podcast since I saw an ad for it on the Facebook. The fact that Ray and Sam love pastors and the church so deeply is so evident to anyone who can hear. Even if you aren’t a pastor, this pod will benefit you as you seek to spread Gospel Culture.

    Just awesome!
So encouraging. Thanks so much to Sam, Ray, and Crossway for making this happen.

    Good Stuff
As a young (we’ll, late 30’s) seminarian training for chaplaincy and pastoral ministry in a world where so many of my peers are deconstructing/abandoning their Faith and the Church—this podcast is a spark of hope, truth and grace. *Plus, both a Narnia and LOtR reference in the first episode?!? I’m here for it.
  • Sethmm1118
Much needed resource in a season of division
In an increasingly polarized world these two brothers are providing a winsome, practical, and much needed perspective that is helping me keep the main thing the main thing.
