xebec_ladyLove the historical details!I recently discovered your podcast (mentioned in the magazine for the 50th anniversary of the LHOP TV show). I started listening from the beginning and have completed the 1st two books. I love all the historical details that you have explored, such as foods and tools. Also enjoying the info about words that I only knew from the context. Great podcast for fans of LIW books!!

KaGwenLove this podcast so muchWilder on the Prairie has gotten me back into my Wilder books and it is so satisfying to listen to this podcast after reading! A suggestion would be to maybe include a little bit of what historical events were happening in the years of each book, if you don’t do that already. Thank you for creating this podcast!!!

Melissa in WisA fun, quick listen!I’ve just started listening to the podcast and am on Episode 8. These are fun, quick episodes that you can squeeze in when you have a few spare minutes. It would be fun to listen to the episodes as you read the books. If you’re a Little House or Laura Ingalls fan or a history buff, this podcast is for you!

pdiane38bEpisodesI’m truly enjoying the podcasts but, the episodes are nowhere near long enough. For some reason my phone will not go from one episode to the other. So, I have to stop every few minutes to get to the next episode which is very frustrating especially if I’m driving. Other than that it is great!

TamJamBEnjoyableI’m a history buff myself, so a lot of the explanations are things I already knew, but I still get the occasional surprise. This would be a great resource for a parent reading the little house books to a child.

jennytheknitterInteresting but rushedI think it’s an interesting podcast and it’s always fun to find fellow Laura enthusiasts. I do, however, wish she would slow down a little; each episode seems so rushed. As someone who usually enjoys longer podcast episodes, I find myself wanting more. A summary of the chapter and maybe more of her own impressions of the stories, instead of just recounting facts, would be welcome. I’ve only listened to the first 10 episodes, though, so maybe this changes.

LPQNYI wish this had been around years ago!I’m really enjoying this podcast! You have made each chapter so informative and interesting! Many years ago when I was teaching, I had an after school Little House Club. Your podcast would have been a wonderful asset to our weekly club meetings! My student members could have listened and enjoyed your research and not just mine. Thank you, Annie! Linda A fellow Laura fan

shannongalLoving itWhat a great way to review and relive my fascination with the Little House books. I love the added research behind some of the stories that I practically have memorized. My only complaint is that each episode flies by and I am sure I will be all caught up soon.
