It took me too long to rate. This podcast is excellent and really fulfills my Michael Harriot fix. Always informative and hilarious. I laugh out loud on every episode. The topics are the typical ones we have with our friends but with a historian smart mf’er guiding the conversation.

This podcast is a must for all Black people. Factual, educational, easy to understand and at times, laugh out loud funny! I can’t believe myself at times laughing out loud at those quirky blackness jokes. Thank God for Harriot, the new freedom fighter!

Top notch! History for all to know

Wow! What a breakdown of how capitalism never truly existed in its true form in America. This is the history they are trying to erase- not black history! The history of the created thing called “whiteness” and its subsequent exploitation. Good work!

I’ve read many, many articles by Mr. Harriot on The Grio. I also had the pleasure of hearing him on Larry Wilmore’s podcast. I was thrilled to see Michael had one! I’ll be tuning in regularly!! Keep teaching King 👑!!

As a white person, I try to educate myself on the history of blacks, so that when I speak for equality, I speak from a place of enlightenment. I understand the anger, but this goes beyond what is acceptable. This dullard seems to lack the concept of equality by elevating everyone. Every opportunity he gets he seems to want to be a little white people of today for the abuse in the past. We get nowhere from continually degrading each other and alienating those who want to hear what you have to say and learn from you.

For such short episodes, Michael Harriet never fails to educate and entertain me. I was so impressed with the episode on the Alabama Ferry Fight. He connected so many dots!!!

Michael Harriot is funny, super smart, informative, thought provoking and entertaining all at once. I am so glad that this podcast exists.

He’s the teacher I’ve always wanted. He doesn’t over intellectualize these topics. He makes it real, provide new ways of thinking and makes it make sense!

I have followed Michael’s work online and read his tweets. This man is the truth! He’s just too good. We’ve been needed a podcast with his intellect. Thank goodness we now have it. Totally worth a listen.

Great podcast for people that need simple ways of breaking down history to the present. He makes one ponder a lot about history in a common sense way.

I really enjoy the podcast, “theGrio Daily” with Michael Harriot. He is always discussing an interesting topic that is meaningful and insightful. His discussions give a new way to think about things. He connects the dots to put things together. The podcast is very valuable. An improvement would be in the presentation of Mr. Harriot. Listening, his manner of speech do not flow together. The way he speaks his sentences, with odd pauses, it can be difficult to listen to. His low tone of voice, although very lovely, can compound the challenge in listening to Mr. Harriot’s worthy podcast. I follow him on twitter and think he has a brilliant mind, and can add humor to the situation. His new podcast is worth the time and effort of any small inconveniences. If he continues, the format and any challenge will improve. Love it!
