Hecklefish #1 no contest Vance got nothing on my boy / fish

The podcast is very interesting but the annoying cartoon sidekick makes it unlistenable.

I have tried to find a show similar to this one and nothing else comes close to this one. It is hands down the best!

This is the most entertaining, expertly produced, and deeply researched podcast out there on the topic. And what’s the topic? Take your pick! And as always… Be safe, be kind, and know that you are appreciated!

The Why Files is easily one of the best mystery type podcasts on the internet! It’s balanced and fun, without taking itself too seriously.

Just a annoyance, you said there would be no ads in the mega comp called Dreams and Nightmares, writing this as I’m listening to the ad buddy, I can kinda understand but it’s a bit peevish for me

Stopped watching and listening when AJ started talking politics, and how the Trump admin “hasn’t made any mistakes so far”… you really should put on that tin foil hat.

Please make sure he gets to the studio and gets to work. He has the perfect face for radio 😂

I find this podcast very funny but informative. It gets me to wonder and leads me to research for proof and more.

That second voice is most annoying! Not needed!!

Even kids find this podcast so interesting! I listen to them everyday and it’s amazing how (for a kid like me) you can take something as boring as history, science or time, and make it into something fascinating. I tell everyone I know about this podcast and YouTube channel! I get goose bumps every time I listen to one! And Heckle fish! Some people are saying that he is annoying but I think he is absolutely hilarious! 100% recommend!

Best podcast of all time. Explains the conspiracy theory, gives the evidence for and against with sources. Heckle fish reminds me of my friends in New England lol!!!

I enjoyed the show for years. But now the ads are insane. Listened to Jan 24th, 2025 episode this morning. 10 minutes of ads out of a 38 minute episode is ridiculous. Just another podcast I’m leaving.

Best show ever. Now that I know Hecklefish annoys people it is going to make his off colored one liners even more funny. The beauty of having a sidekick is the jokes that would not come off the same if it was just you. 5 stars all the way. I’ve been tuning into the Why Files since your episodes were in the teens and there has not been one I did not like. They are all gems. The only thing I don’t like is when Thursday comes and goes and there is no episode. But other than that…Phenomenal show. It gives me an escape where I forget about life for a while. Take Care AJ, HeckleFish and the rest of the team. Keep up the great work.

Excellent podcast with the exception that the absolutely nerve wracking extra voice makes me want to jump out of my moving car.

I enjoy the comedic relief of hecklefish and the sound effects that make it more interesting to listen to. My other conspiracy podcasts don’t give these things

This has to be one of the best shows to listen to while doing a long distance run. Keep up the good work AJ and crew.

I like the show and the balance of perspectives but it’s really hard to make it through an episode due to the ungodly amount of commercials they contain. Out of all the shows I subscribe to this one has the most advertisements.

He is just the best fish of this side of the fake moon landing.

I like this show but can not stand the end song or the fact that there are almost more advertisements than show

Really like this podcast but the Heckle Fish has got to go! I feel like it’s super distracting and not essential to the podcast.

It’s the comfort food of podcasts. Thanks AJ and Hecklefish for entertaining all of us with great stories! My wife and I love the show, my kids love the show, we put it on when making breakfast/dinner etc. I listen to it while driving to work, It always lightens the day.
