LattesandtacosCPTSD survivorThank you so much for everything you do to help survivors. I have been trying to find a community in social media since Twitter began. For awhile when Metoo & Harvey arrived I found it. Didn’t last long. Your Voice on the podcast What Came Next made me cry for hours. I am a 55yr old survivor of CSA at the hands of my father from age 5 is my first memory 2 is what he confessed to in a stack of papers he wrote to the judge thinking it would “explain” why he was not responsible for a crime that was also committed against him. I sat in that court room at 32yrs of age. Sitting next to me was his last victim & her little brother. Ages 5, 3. My father confessed to CSA Rape going back to Vietnam when he was in the Army. Including but not in his confession my 2 little brothers, 3 cousins, my neighbor friends. The most devastating for me My brothers 2 children. I tried to stop my sister in law from letting my father live with them. Thankfully the Judge was a good guy. My father was sentenced to life no parole no outside contact. I have been in therapy since I was 17. I have many gaps in my memory. But I keep moving forward with trauma because I refuse to let it get me. GROOMING is a hideous MONSTER so many people don’t realize & hearing your family’s story, your story, I don’t know how to thank you for sharing it. You are a true Heroine 🦋 LM

A Z MarsCourageousJan Broberg and her family are such inpressive people, especially considering all they have been through and how they use those experiences to help others. The Jan Broberg Show provides many people who have been through this type of trauma with education and suggestions for healing. I cannot recommend it enough! Jan is courageous and admirable, as are the guests appearing on the podcast. If you or anyone you know has suffered this type of trauma or just want to educate yourselves on prevention and what these struggles are like, this will be a fantastic podcast to listen to!

dmarkel0329WoWserThis isn’t a review about why you should listen because I’m on the show…this is a review about why you should listen because of how important and critical the content of this show is. The Jan Broberg Show speaks to the core of what we all need to realize: that child sexual abuse is prevalent; that CSA has an enormous, and devastating effect; that we, as a society need to wake up to these issues; and that if you’re a victim of CSA you can survive, and thrive, become a thrivivor and reclaim your childhood, and become what you want to become. This is an amazing podcast.
