I”ve seen Kyle interviewed by others and he has so much experience and knowledge to share. But I can’t sit through 30 minutes of riffing and speculation between the two brothers waiting for that 5-10 minutes of substantive information. I would love to see the presentation tightened up.

Kyle is such an interesting person because he is a perfect blend of expertise and being incredibly down to earth. Even with this first episode, I am getting the feeling that I am listening to someone who knows more than I could ever hope to when it comes to Cast Iron, but there is no gatekeeping, snobbery or elitism. I feel like it’s not him “allowing me” into the world, but welcoming me instead. As a podcast host (and cook) myself, this is how a show should be. And I’m so happy I found one like this.
