Hannah and Amber are hilarious, relatable, and everyone’s book besties. I can’t recommend this show highly enough! I tell everyone I meet who has read SJMs books to check it out. Or to read SJM and then tune in to their show! 😂 I love all the references they make to my favorite fandoms. My husband and I are reading (and I’m rereading) the books together, and he kept overhearing me listen to the podcast and got sucked in by the hilarity. Now we’ve started listening together! He loves it as much as I do! Keep up the good work Hannah and Amber. Can we please do a book summer camp retreat?!

Absolutely love you guys. I have been following along as I read the book for the first time. Currently on ACOFAS It helps me review and fully comprehend what’s going on. I love for y’all’s commentary and nick names you give all the ding dongs of the book because… same 😂 I didn’t think people felt books the way I do and it gives me comfort to know you guys really deep dive and submerse in the universe of acotar. This books has become close to my heart and I almost feel like you guys have been along for that journey. I’ll always associate the book and this pod hand in hand 🖤 ONLY feedback I would give would be better heads up for spoilers throughout the series. I found out in an episode of ACOMAF that Elaine kills Hybern without spoiler warning and I was like WOAH WOAH WOAH and I skipped ahead a minute or two in panic of hearing anything else. Same with spoiling ianthe’s fate even though it was still as satisfying 😛I plan on reading TOG and CC so I appreciate the spoilers on that even though I probably won’t remember the key points to them lol. All in all, thank you house of wind, darlings 🖤🖤

I really love your guys' take on the characters, the events, and the symbolism behind the events. You guys are awesome! I started listening as a way to pass the time while I do my interior home renovation job and man I really love your guys' work! I especially love the format on how you summarize the chapter and your thoughts at the same time instead of just a plot summary dump and then talk about your thoughts afterwards. Even if there are a few points I don't necessarily completely agree with for characters and what not- I love how you guys always are respectful to other view points. It's always good to remember to respect everyone's opinions and you guys are soooo fantastic at that that I never feel like your view is one sided or blind to varying opinions. One thing I wish there was more of in the earlier episodes was better spoiler warnings. I still haven't read ToG yet but I feel like I know several spoilers for it even when trying to skip ahead- HOWEVER- you guys have started to get really good at giving a warning ahead of time for it all so that's wonderful! Thank you! Love your podcast! Hope to see your work continue! And P.S. I live hearing about your personal lives and your spouses. Haters can hate. Love really getting to know you guys. After falling in love with ACOTAR I didn’t want it to be over! I found this podcast and LOVE that I can relive it all again. These girls could be my besties and I find myself loling with them all the time! I’ve been binging through each episode while cleaning and cooking and it’s really making my summer wonderful! Love it!

These ladies give me life! After reading the ACOTAR series, it was all I could think about and all I WANTED to think about. Listening to these ladies dissect the books has filled the void while I wait for the next book. There’s definitely a lot of spoilers that you have to be careful of and I’m just getting through ToG for the first time so I’ve had to dodge the theories of the other series of SJM, but I can’t wait to go back through the podcast once I finish ToG and CC! Can’t wait until they start going through ToG🩷

I really enjoy listening to this podcast each week. Hannah and Amber always have a heartfelt perspective and you can feel the love and friendship between them. I have read the ACOTAR series soooo many times and still can be surprised when they point something out I haven’t thought of before. They’re also just very responsive on SM which makes them feel like friends to me :)

Not for me. A lot of giggling and analysis is more about feelings with a lot of “I just like it” without a deeper look into characters. Could use some better editing to keep conversation flowing.

I made it through the first book and 1/2 way through the 2nd. After that I had to unfollow. They spend WAY too much time talking about their partners….which I don’t care about. Their stances on things tend to vary depending on the character. If someone they like does something they rationalize it, but if it’s someone they don’t like, they tear into them.

I listened to alot of it but their take on Nesta on Silver Flames is disappointing. The excuses made for others bad behavior and not holding them to the same accountability they held Nesta too. It’s ok unless Nesta did it, or it’s her fault they did that.

I love this podcast! Definitely a must after the ACOTAR series and even while reading 🥰

Just finished reading the ACOTAR series for the first time and was so "book hungover" that I had to find something to listen to that kept me in this Fae World! This podcast is perfect!! It's been so fun to listen to Hannah & Amber reread the entire series and talk about it. It's giving me the book club i wanted/needed while reading!! 10/10 recommend!!

This podcast is SO fun. It’s like talking to your besties about all things SJM. The hosts are so fun and do a great job breaking down these crazy wonderful books and adding their own opinions on theories and our favorite characters!

I’m totally loving this podcast! The way Amber and Hannah discuss the themes, tropes, dialogue, characters, Easter eggs, and everything else is amazing. It hooked me right away and made me feel like I was in the room with them. As an English major, I appreciate all the technical things they review and the way they discuss the dualities with certain characters throughout the series. Love their humor and other fandom comparisons haha. Best book club ever! I’ve shared their show with my friends.

I really love this podcast!! It is the perfect blend of giggly smut enjoyment and thoughtful critical analysis that I need in my life! I am a mental health therapist and it’s so nice to hear from some other health professionals using fantasy books as an escape! Really feels like I’m reading along with friends. I’ve read ACOTAR before so I’m loving this as a reread. I can’t wait for the next book to be a read-along so it feels truly like being a part of a book club.

I don’t have close friends who are readers, so it’s been really fun to listen to the deep dives with y’all! I feel like I can finally geek out over these stories. I’ve had this in my queue for a while waiting until I was ready to reread the series. I’ve been reading so fast that I’m going to catch up too quickly, but excited to continue to follow along. Sometimes there’s a lot of tangents, but it makes the conversation feel real and I love comparisons to other books and media.

Obsessed with this podcast because they sound like how my sister and I talk about this series. I’m a hospice social worker, so in my car constantly, and this podcast is such an amazing buffer between patients. Also…I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOU TO READ CRESCENT CITY. OH. MY. GOD. 😂

This podcast is great! I’ve listened to lots of ACTAR podcasts (okay like 3 or 4) and this one seems like the best. I like the dynamics between Hannah and amber, I like when they get a little of topic and bring in their personal tidbits which may not be for everyone but it works! When I review books and stuff I always relate it to my life, so why wouldn’t they! They don’t come off as pretentious like a different ACOTAR pod, and they seem to also come well informed, like they took the time to prepare. I also LOVE when they have their “high lords” on, it’s so so funny. It offers such a different perspective (the partners haven’t read the whole series so they make predictions) and it’s so good. I loved that dynamic too! Yeah, I just love this!

I truly love how these ladies breakdown the books and review the content! I think they make great points and have interesting ideas… HOWEVER… my main only complain is that I wish there were not spoilers! I want to listen along while I read the books, chapter by chapter. There are comments and notes that talk about future books and plot points!! I feel like this is a pod strictly for rereading deep divers. I wish the hosts were blind to the proceeding series with me in the analysis of the books… As appose to making comments about character development that the ladies are already privy to. I’ve stopped listen for now, and will likely listen once I’ve finished the series since their in sight and options are GREAT!

This podcast is so great! Im currently reading ACOWAR and have no one to share it with. I found this podcast on my for you page on ig and have been enjoying every minute of going over the last 2 books, what a ride! I started the ACOTAR series a few weeks ago and have been obsessed since. I’m currently on ACOSF. Nobody else in my life is reading these books right now and I’ve been dying to chat with someone about them so it has been fun to listen to these episodes (just found this podcast yesterday and have been binge listening to episodes 😂) because it makes me feel like I’ve got some new book friends reading along with me!
