CMMVetWonderful resource for parents!I really enjoy listening to Casey because she explains her experiences with her PDA son in a way that allows me to understand my own PDA son. Before her I struggled to understand his disability.
-
OverItunesInspiring and reassuringWhen everything else failed, At Peace Parents did not! We’ve gained guidance that works, and reassurance that it’s ok when lowering demands and making accommodations doesn’t look like “good parenting” because we’re striving for something greater by healing our child’s nervous system. Thank you, Casey!!

luzleestormLife changingI am beyond grateful for Casey and her work which has changed my family completely. My entire view of my child and my parenting, all for the better.

leaf0137A Lifesaving Resource for Parents Navigating PDACasey’s podcast on PDA has been an absolute lifesaver for me. When I was first trying to figure out what was going on with my child, someone in a parent group recommended it, and I’m so grateful they did. In those early days of discovery, this podcast provided clarity, validation, and a sense of direction when I needed it most. I still refer back to it often as new questions arise. Thank you, Casey, for sharing your knowledge and making this journey a little easier for so many of us!

Original DaveSo AccommodatingCasey is wonderful at explaining how PDA affects children and teens, and has helped my wife and I both immensely. We still struggle to radically accept our situation, but we make strides every day, with help from the At Peace Parents podcast!

jjschneemanCasey Understands the Energy!Finding AtPeaceParents has been a lifeline for shared understanding and practical tools. Even working in holistic mental health and as a nervous system specialist, Casey broadened my personal perspective as an adult with PDA, parenting a 6yo with PDA. What I especially love about Casey is that she talks boldly about energy and energy resonance which is underlying all human experience but is so obvious in the PDA world (like the instant dysregulation with an energy mismatch). Casey is ahead of the mainstream on this one and it is so so so good.

CarolineringHonestly life changingI’ve decided that my new answer to the “if you could have lunch with any person, living or dead, who would it be?” is now Casey Ehrlich. After years of desperation I finally feel that I understand my children, and that there is a path forward that can be successful. Listening to this podcast gives me hope, and the tools I need to move forward.

lmcclure27Clarity and HopeMy husband and I recently discovered that our 4-year-old daughter is PDA. This podcast has been affirming and invaluably informative. After my daughter received a diagnosis of ODD, I knew something was missing. After listening to the podcast, I no longer feel alone and I am hopeful for my family’s future. Thank you!!!
-
ElizabethMarberryChanged my life! This podcast has completely changed our family’s life for the better! Casey shares actionable tips & strategies to help you thrive as a parent of a PDA kid. Thanks to Casey, our home has moved from chaotic to manageable (and peaceful most times!) Highly recommend!

SuzieP27Great podcast and resourceI’ve been listening to podcasts and doing my own research on how to help my daughter. Nothing ever seemed to fit completely or feel like I was heading in the right direction until I came across this podcast. Listening to any of her podcasts or posts on social media gave me that light bulb moment. I believe I’m in the thick of things right now and the information provided in this podcast has been so helpful and eye opening. I have learned so much and look forward to learning much more from Casey and this podcast. I am so appreciative of her dedication, resources, and compassion. Thank you!

A. KapTotal game-changerI deeply value every piece of content that Casey puts out. I started listening to this podcast a couple of years ago and even though I’ve now taken her signature paradigm shift program (it was truly life-giving for my family), I still listen to every single episode of this podcast and glean new insights a/o deepen my understanding of information I’ve already learned from her. This podcast is a gift to any parent raising a PDA child!
-
SunflowerTacoMom17**Life changing!!!Finding this platform has been life changing. I don’t feel so alone anymore raising my PDAer. Thank you for helping me take my power back. Through you I’m taking leaps of faith, regaining my confidence and helping my kiddo and I get out of burnout. You’re a true Gem. Thanks for being an amazing resource for many families.

TINAM26Spoke to meFound her content on instagram and it speaks to me as if she is living in our home. Now the podcast is a bonus!!

Borne the BattleVoice of truthCasey and her team provide unmatched value in the PDA space and there is no better source for knowledge regarding PDA. Thank you for doing what you do and for bringing peace to so many families in crisis.
-
tidesareeternalFantastic resourceI started following Casey’s instagram page a few months ago when my teen’s ASD dx didn’t quite explain everything we were experiencing. Learning about PDA has been quite a journey and the At Peace Parents podcast has been integral in helping us navigate these challenges. My entire “Play Next” list are episodes from this podcast, and I’ve listened to several multiple times. I really like how Casey explains things, and I can’t express how much I appreciate that this content is free. We pay out of pocket for so much mental health care and special schooling, and having this quality resource as part of my own learning to understand how best to support my child is invaluable. Thank you to Casey and her entire team!

🥳💕😂💛☺️😘Saved our familyCasey’s work was the first I found about PDA and I knew instantly that it was the missing info our family needed. I binged all the podcasts and her social media. Implementing changes to our parenting style and approach has saved us. Love her scientific approach to everything. Thank you, Casey!
-
jjcnp033Exceptional Resource and ContentAs a scientist I appreciate and acknowledge Casey’s content and the profound effect it can have in improving the quality of lives of those with PDA and those that support and love them.
-
emilykateweberPerspective Changing!I have learned so much about the nervous system, parenting and ultimately about acceptance—radical acceptance that you can never truly change another person, even and especially your own children.
-
Trish AndMany ways to get the peaceWhen we first started this journey, i searched for people & places…. Listening for empathy & cohesion, i keep coming back to Casey & her family, it feels relatable & it tracks in real time. I feel seen, I’m starting to understand better & i feel hope. My kid is a big deal. My sanity is a big deal. Finding a spot where i can learn, though I’m totally uncomfortable, is a big deal.
-
@jaxniccopeGame changer! 🙌I can’t recommend this podcast enough! Casey discusses so many important topics and has really helped me (and my husband) understand our child and his brain better. Her approach and conceptualization of balancing low demands with how to handle, manage, and cope with his neurological disability and activation when we need to set boundaries has been the best fit for our family. I appreciate how transparent she is about her background, as well as including her experience raising a PDA and nonPDA child, her expertise and data she has collected from working with so many families, feels so validating and makes me feel less alone. I also appreciate the idea of becoming educated about these discussion topics but then using an individual scientific approach with your child to identify strategies! This is an amazing RESOURCE! I’m so grateful!
-
SslaughGreat resourceThis podcast (& Casey’s work in general) has been so helpful in navigating PDA & learning how best to support my child.
-
ScottVHAt Peace Parents PodcastThis is a great podcast! I’ve learned so much and my family thanks you. Before I found you and learned about PDA, I felt that my home life was hopeless. Nothing was working and I was worried for my son. Now, his true personality is able to shine through and the changes came from us, his parents, first. It’s amazing to think that our making the changes allowed him to flourish. Parent education definitely works!
-
Margie313Thank youCasey shares information, advice, and true stories that have helped me so much as a parent. I felt very alone before I found her. She has changed our family’s life for the better and helped me to truly understand PDA.
-
NopYh437!Must listen for PDA parentsCasey’s approach is so real, I love her examples and citing research. Definitely find her on Instagram if you haven’t, I have found so much clarity through her!
-
J M WilliamsFeel seen and encouragedCasey and the At Peace Parents team provides valuable information about PDA and parenting. As a mom of PDA twins, this podcast has been a God send for me and my family. I feel so seen and encouraged after listening to Caseys podcasts, which is great when parenting a kid with this neurotype can be so isolating. Thank you!
-
Sandjah1Highly recommendThis podcast has saved my life. I don’t feel so alone, and by applying what I’ve learned I’ve found some peace for our family. Casey explains all of the concepts in an easy to understand and logical way. I would recommend this podcast to any parent who suspects their child is PDA.

Kkaoddjs1Thank you for sharing your story!Been listening for a while and finally feel compelled to thank Casey for sharing her story. I had a similarly horrible school experience. My spouse and I are both high-achiever types too, and dealing with our “good” public school made me feel like they saw me as crazy and a bad parent. My child would comply out of fear at school but instantly melt down at home every night, saying how awful it was, and refuse school every morning. The school would not work with me to introduce him gradually to school every day and ultimately literally traumatized him to the point we could not get him to school at all. Today, my PDA elementary school student is a hard-working and very social college computer science major who’s a kind-hearted person. I read probably a hundred parenting books, yet if I had a dollar for every time someone gave me simplistic advice that did not work at all, we could fund our kid’s masters degree or down payment on a house someday. It was definitely lonely parenting on extra hard mode for a number of years, but it gets better and is worth all the love, time, and patience we sink into PDA kids. Thank you for sharing your story and all you’re doing for families like ours. You are a gift.
-
LisaKDCCritical and validating info for struggling parentsOMG, this is so odd! Listening to episode 71 and I, too, had the instinct to use the list of people who love you. I do this often when my kiddo is distressed and its soothing to him. I’m a clinical social worker and parents of ND maybe PDA kids and am finding this podcast so helpful and validating. I incorporate it into my work as well!
-
momlifeandsomuchmoreInvaluableI listen to Casey’s podcast on repeat. She’s helped change the trajectory of our family for the better. She will forever be a resource I remind to any family wanting to help not only their child but family as a whole.
-
TenibraeFinally! Someone who offers realistic help!Casey, your perspectives and methods are so eye-opening and inspirational. And your personal anecdotes are like pages from my own experience. I feel so seen and am hoping to work with you directly in your Paradigm Shift program. I’m adopting “it’s just data”, “this belongs”, and the concept that when we have a tough decision to make, we can either accommodate our child’s nervous system needs or activate their fight/flight response, and there really isn’t an elusive third option where we can impose our will in a sneaky way they won’t catch on to. There aren’t any magic pills or secret passwords… . You have so much empathy for what we as parents are going through but you also have a beautiful way of guiding us to look through a scientist’s or researcher’s lens, which deflects shame and blame away from both parent and child. THANK YOU!!
-
mb.in.caliTransformativeThank you Casey! Your information and validation is life changing. It’s through you I realized our son is pda and thus have been able to better understand and support him. I binge listen to your podcasts, often repeating ones I’ve already heard just to make sure I’m taking it all in. Thank you for all your wisdom ❤️
-
bethagerInvaluable resourceThis podcast is so helpful in understanding and accommodating PDA. I learn something new every episode, and I say that as someone who has a PhD in special education, 23 years in the field, and a 14 yr old PDA’er. Casey is insightful and knowledgeable. Well worth the listen.
-
JennEMMHMAwesome podcast! This podcast and some of her trainings have helped me understand my daughter so much and really helped our family dynamic. Thank you!

gaja41Incredibly validating and honestIncredibly validating and honest

kensler316Life changingWhen I heard Casey talking about PDA finally felt seen and validated. Her honesty is appreciated. This is a place where you feel you won’t be judged. I have been learning about autism and 2e but there was always a piece missing, it was PDA. Learning about equalizing has been life changing. Desde el fondo de mi corazón mil gracias.
-
PDA gramsAmazing mentorship!Casey is an inspiring mentor in the PDA parenting community. Having raised two PDA children without the knowledge, experience and wisdom Casey brings, I can guarantee that implementing her strategies will cause a “shift” in your lives. Even in the lives of adult children.

Monalisasmile607Journey RoadmapMy family has been on a journey since my son was born almost 10 years ago. With each new diagnosis we’d find ourselves pivoting, finding some suggestions that seemed to help but often didn’t seem to fit our unique kid. Finally my searching lead me to the @Peace Parents podcast and I’ve had more aha! moments in the few episodes I’ve already consumed than in the past 10 years bouncing from one diagnosis to the next. I finally feel like this is the right path, these are the correct answers and someone finally handed me a roadmap that makes sense. While the journey as it’s been laid out is daunting, at least I am finally starting to feel confident that we will arrive together as a family. Thank you.

Niles BoysA lifeline when you need it the mostCasey Ehrlich is so relatable and wonderful at explaining things ... HebcjahebnameThis podcast has given me hopeThere are just so few professionals or other parents who understand PDA. Casey is informative, relatable, and truly understands the emotional process of supporting a child with PDA. I have learned so much from this podcast, and I continue to keep it a favorite show.
-
MLHollanderGratefulI finally feel like I understand what is happening with my child.
-
777_300Excellent!Life changing podcast!! I have benefitted so much from all the information Casey has discussed on the podcast, website, and Paradigm course.
-
SarahBeth_7Evidence-based and personal information on PDAI am so grateful for this podcast. Casey provides evidence-based information, shares personal experiences as a Mom of a PDA child, has expert guests that share insightful information and perspectives. This podcast has been transformational to my parenting and in my understanding of my child. Whether your child has a formal diagnosis of autism with PDA or you suspect your child is neurodivergent with some PDA characteristics, the knowledge, resources and approaches shared are so helpful.
-
WhosthatgirkThis podcast is awesomeThis podcast really helped clarify what was going on with my son and what I suspected for a long time: That the behavioral model we’ve been using for the last 4 years wouldn’t ever work. I knew there was something at the core of his behaviors and we weren’t getting to it. Unfortunately, the battle is uphill and I am not in a financial position to obtain the tools that are available to win. I’m thankful for podcasts like this.
-
Veggie docSpot on!About 4 months after my daughter was diagnosed as PDA I happened across Casey’s website then listened to her podcasts. She has the key to figuring out how to make your child happier and your life more peaceful. She GETS it. And she’s the first person that gave me hope. Not in a cure. It’s not that simple. But hope that our lives can be more manageable. And that we aren’t alone.
-
CTBangValidating and informative! When my diagnosing doctor shrugged off PDA as a niche autistic subset that didn’t require further resources, I knew I was on my own for helping my son. Finding At Peace Parents has given me so much valuable knowledge, insight, and resources for learning more on how to better support my son in a way that aligns with my parenting philosophy. I feel relief for both of us, and so validated in ways that many parents can’t understand. Thank you!
-
EmwerkAmazing Resource!I highly recommend this podcast for adults navigating PDA profile for themselves or their children/loved ones. I enjoy it because you get to see that you aren’t alone and learn how to lovingly support someone experiencing this reality.

Chino 1Bookmark and save this podcast!Bookmark and save this podcast! It’s the one I make sure to download regularly so that I have episodes available for those rare moments I have time to myself. I cry nearly every episode because I feel like I can relate on so many levels. I’m SO thankful to have found Casey and this pod. Her insights and learnings have truly changed our family’s lives; opened our eyes to PDA and inspired practical and useful strategies for helping our PDA son. When a family member or friend has questions about PDA or the nervous system, I always refer them to this podcast. Thank you, thank you, for all that you do and for sharing your life and learnings with the rest of us! Life changing!
