I think the host is trying to get a cabinet position
I don’t know Miles doesn’t seem like you’re dealing with facts ( seems like you are spouting rhetoric. ) l have been an avid listener of your show for years I’ve also been a proponent of your show, and I had a lot of respect for your opinion and your views and now you’ve lost me with this last episode. Nov 10th 24 I could not believe what what you were saying and how you were saying it you said crime is up in all the cities Can you provide some actual data on thcause crime is down across the country Are you talking about San Francisco people ripping off Walmart Walgreens yeah can you show me some of those facts cause I don’t know I haven’t seen that about that but I just the numbers don’t actually add up so I’m not gonna listen to you tell me things that are not true as if they are anyway, I’m disappointed and I’m pretty sad but I’m done

Miles, ditch Bannon. He’s a quack.

    Another propaganda channel
Just another anti-China media outlet, as if there weren’t enough already. None of the people spewing this nonsense are actually living in China and experiencing China. I lived in China 5 months this year, can’t wait to go back. Chinese are way more friendly to Americans than other Americans. It was extremely safe and my kids were treated so much better there than by teachers here in the US. This podcast is hilarious - like parody level hilarious.

    Love this podcast!
Miles Yu does a tremendous job of giving you the inside scoop on China and a forecast of its hidden agenda. He also takes you inside the mind of Xi Jinping and the motives behind his actions and intentions. As Sun Tzu said in The Art of War: “In order to know your enemy, you must become your enemy.” Miles Yu, a professor at the United States Naval Academy and a senior fellow and director of the China Center at the Hudson Institute, knows China and Xi Jinping from the inside out and gives you a clear understanding of him and his motives.

    Trash
If you’re looking for an objective source of news and updates from China, look elsewhere.

    Lacks balance
When you have a singular view through Trumpism and his team, this totally lacks perspective and balance. Arrogance. Clearly hawks to continue negative bias.

We need serious, critical discussion of China. This is not it.
Serious, critical discussion of China has never been more important. This is not it. I think it’s useful to be reminded of Chinese rhetoric and extreme statements. But there is no effort here to analyze or contextualize them. This isn’t quite anti-China propaganda, but it’s very close. There are lots of reasons to mistrust China and to oppose many things they do. But let’s start from an informed place. Don’t start here.

    Illuminating Insights
Wow! An incredible distillation of the current events in China while folding in historical contexts and cultural perspectives. Best listen to get up to speed on this complex situation.

    Great first episode!
This is a very interesting exploration of China in a modern context. I’ve been following Miles for a while and it is great to hear him in a podcast. I’d appreciate more historical context, but this is a great first episode!
