Haaaaated the flashbacks. The little kids voices were cringe and I had to skip forward.

This was a great ride with lots of twists and turns along the way. Emily Goss’ performance was outstanding as were those of the rest of the cast. A previous reviewer nailed it when they called this a movie for your ears! Really great work!

Just amazing. Starts off a little slow but it got me hooked. Wonderful story telling, lots of different emotions from jump scares to crying to smiling. And the outrageously unpredictable twists were perfect!

One of the best story podcasts I’ve listened to in awhile. Made me jump a few times and look forward to more podcast from this group.

A few issues I’ve picked up on 8 episodes in: 1. The whole mystery of the new sheriff’s background and accompanying suspicion is pointless 2. The flashbacks to childhood are incredibly cliched and don’t add to the central mystery at all. 3. Secondary characters are poorly fleshed out and the male voice actors sound mostly the same , creating confusion .

Refreshing to discover this well-written and acted audio fiction.

This was such a great story to listen to! I definitely jumped a couple times, but I was properly warned! I really felt immersed in the characters’ world and was immediately emotionally invested. As someone who listens to a lot of crime podcasts, I felt pretty cocky about how everything would end but boy was I wrong and that was fun.

I’m always hunting for new podcasts and I love this one. Finally a mystery that’s not sci-fi. Great story, acting and production.

Excellent acting, great soundstage and effects, and compelling narrative. Even for those like myself who don’t naturally gravitate towards fiction podcasts, it’s a great change in pace - gripping, exciting, and engaging. Highly recommend!

Awful soft Christian rock sounding theme song aside.. this is a really great fiction podcast. Voice acting is def up there w some of the best fiction podcasts I’ve heard. Wish it was a little longer, and that I never heard that theme song (luckily it’s only at the end)

To be honest, I probably would have listened to more, but 5 was all that were released so far Great story and high quality production that has you feeling like you’re right there where the story is happening

I’ve just listened to the first two episodes. Can’t wait for the next episode. Emily is doing a great job with Mya. Great sound effects. I listen to many audiobooks, this podcast takes it a notch above them.
